Some would call the Vixen’s hard schedule foolhardiness, definitely a little suspect given how she’s already fought two matches this month, and is scheduled for a final showdown at the end of next week with Olivia Holt.

What the hell is going through Lily’s mind?

“I’ve thought about what Twatson said last week, and asked Caspian and Kate to put me up for more fights ASAP. I’m not letting some low-life, pixie-haired, goody-two-shoes witch get into the Hall-of-Fame before I do,” Lily snarls in the pre-fight press conference. “If I have to tear down both the Fly and Bantamweight divisions to even my fight record, so be it.”

Bold words from the Vixen, who must realize what she’s proposing is a monumental endeavor on its own. By our records, Miss Watson is shy of 9 fights to qualify for the Hall-of-Fame, herself facing off against Camila Mendez on this month’s PPV. Sure, Lily may scramble for as many fights as she can humanly squeeze into her schedule, but she can’t prevent Emma herself from racing across the finish line and magic number of 100.

“It’s crazy,” Briana Evigan says from the opposite end of the arena, herself talking to reporters amidst the fanfare and stakes surrounding this CBAD match. “If she wants to make a fool of herself in some crazy longshot, I ain’t gonna stop her, but it doesn’t mean she’ll find me an easy opponent. Good luck to her, but I’m still gonna hold my ground.”

Briana of course last visiting VIX soil at the start of the year, when she faced off against Alyssa Lynch. Could facing off against Lily Collins tonight be the turning point, with the Vixen usually fighting at a weight lower?

After so many visitations from the Harry Potter actress, Miss Granger is nowhere to be found this time, perhaps having made her message clear as day and seeing no reason to stick around to watch Lily flounder. That hasn’t affected the turnout for tonight’s exhibition match, with spectators and well-wishers alike cramming into the VIX Headquarters & Gym premises for an afternoon of Body Saddle action right after this opener.

Lily’s wearing a red sports bra and black tights, swinging black gloves on either side. Her hair is tied up into a tight ponytail, ready to fly forth. In the other corner, Briana’s known for her toned figure and power-punching skills. The Hollywood actress and fitness model is wearing a pink sports bra and black boxing trunks. She has white gloves on either hand.

ROUND 1:
Fast, tense motions to start: Lily and Briana quick on their feet, moving forward and then sideways, both ladies starting to jab at the head simultaneously. Briana, however, is the first one to pick up the pace, knows she’s got power on her side and starts throwing big swings towards Collins’ head, hoping to shock the Vixen early and make a statement that this mission she’s on is a foolish one, doomed to fail. But Lily’s dodging and weaving with grace, a combination of a heavy, practiced schedule and her own conditioning at the hands of other, aggressive fighters. She avoid a lunging hook at her head before torquing one of her own into Briana’s face, another landing across the head, and a THIRD crossing the chin, to send Briana stumbling!! HOLY-- Evigan’s in trouble WAY early, that rapid combination of hook after hook after hook to her face sending her packing towards the side, looking starry-eyed!! AND HERE COMES LILY, relentless pursuit and shoving more of her punches straight into the forehead and sides, and Evigan barely has time to hit the ropes before another crunching overhand SCORES off her cheek, and DOWN SHE GOES, crumpling to her side and staring up at the ceiling lights, looking like what-the-f*ck-just-happened!!?

Lily standing straight, no smile nor scowl on her lips, just pure, unadulterated dominance as she raises a hand high to the rabid crowds!! She continues her watch from the nearby neutral corner, as Evigan tries to rise back up to all fours, SOME attempt to get back up before the referee can count her out before even three minutes of this fight can elapse! No dice!! The Holloway girl makes it only to her knees before the referee reaches the end of the 10-count, waving her chances off!! It’s OVER before it even began!

Official Decision: Lily Collins defeats Briana Evigan via SHOCK KO1!!

AFTER:
“I hope this shows how serious I am,” Lily smiles at the reporters in the post-fight. “Emma may trudge and stumble her way across the finish line, but I plan to cross that hallmark in style, and dominance. Evigan found that out the hard way today, and Twatson is going to be next.”

Another disappointing result for Miss Evigan, who had initial hopes to stand her ground and at least go the distance with the traditional Flyweight girl. She hangs her head back in her corner, continuously muttering to her fight team, “What went wrong?” What did I do?”

Only time will tell when the dust settles, and meanwhile, backstage, a certain Miss Watson is sure to be sitting up and taking notice. Unexpectedly or otherwise, her challenge and taunting has galvanised a fire in her rival. Emma Watson frowns, arms folded across her chest. Has she unleashed something she can’t contain?
