Before: It’s been an up and down year for the former bantam champions. Both fighters hovering around .500 and drooping down into the top 20. With Trivizas locking in her win, it raises the stakes of an already tense bout up to 11.

"Demi's the right fight at the right time for me," Elizabeth says. "She'll offer me good tough rounds, get me firing on all, just to push me to my peak. "

"To hear Lizzie talk, I guess I'm just supposed to show up, take my beating, collect my cheque and slink to the shower tent," Demi chuckles. "Something tells me it won't work out that way. She missed my last fight trying not to be upset by Amanda, but I'm coming in here off a beat down of the last woman to take a title from. if anyone's a tune up in this fight, it'll be Lizzie...FOR ME!"

Ringpost in sand setup. Elizabeth entering first, wearing a onepeice with a black tophalf, white bottomhalf on the front, reversed on the back, white gloves, hair loose down her back. Demi in an orange knit bikini with brass connectors between her breasts and on her hips, black gloves, hair wetted and slicked back. Both fighters barefoot in the sand.

R1: Girls crowd close: Elizabeth greets Demi a shrugging left uppercut short to chin. Rose hooks Olsen's jaw in tight, takes a swatting hook in return. Girls leaning forward, crowns a-butting; hands in tight to chests, punches coming in short, curling clouts. Crowd already roaring as Lizzie plows right uppercut to Demi's thick jugs: brunette chugging back hup-hup barrage to back the blonde up. Olsen chops short right cross from raised guard, turning Rose's chin: 4 time JMD champ walks-through, pounds the waistline right/left/right with her face pushing against Elizabeth's guard. Olsen gives ground, weight on back leg as she fits a snug left uppercut to chin - then she's leaning in mouth-on-shoulder, trading rights and lefts to gut. Non-stop back and forth - crowd whipped to frenzy as both girls unleash tight-punching havoc from close range. Bell: Lizzie cleans up a hook on Demi's face - spanking blast might just be the difference in a too-close-too-call first!

R2: Demi gets the jump, bundles Elizabeth up, pushing and mauling at ropes: blonde mouthbreathing, battered but defiant in the phonebooth. Rose warned for holding and hitting: she's using her left hand to pull at Olsen's right elbow, laying in close while stuffing right hands up into Avenger's breadbasket. Lizzie in stupor - stooping forward behind her gloves, butt-in-ropes - getting ragdoll-pressed against ropes and processed. Demi all stocky/sturdy in the pocket, pouring herself at Olsen, but simple bashing won't do it: blonde battered senseless, but refusing to bend the knee, stays standing as Rose is mouthbreathing, hands-on-hips after the bell!

R3; Elizabeth making adjustments - stepping into the jab midring; getting palms on Demi's shoulders to push her back; walking her down. Rose bobbing like a little maniac, trying to straighten up into whistling Joe Frazier-esque hooks from the crossed-arm look, but Olsen too bossy, pushing her Brit around the sand/into the ropes, systematically slamming away. Down the stretch, thudding left to belly shakes Demi up, Lizzie crowds-close claps a beefy right forearm across the back, then picks her up with a rolling right European uppercut, connecting with bicep under the chin to flip Rose back into ropes. Demi slobberknocked, head lolling: Elizabeth grinning as she measures with extended left, then leans into a drifting right, bashing her chin hard to starboard at the bell. Rose wobbly-butt, but standing, grinning crookedly with curls in her eyes, even when she's trounced, Demi shows she's still got spirit!

R4: Demi stubby-jabbing out of her regular maniacal torso-bob...she's driving Elizabeth back to ropes! Olsen grumpy as she settles in - left riding in behind Rose's head/right grabbing behind left elbow as stocky brunette pushes forward. Demi driving in, whacking away righty in the grasp; ref issues break, pushing her off, but she bobs right back in, looking for more Lizzie. Olsen flummoxed, upright on ropes, wrists crossed right atop left at her belly, then reaching up to push on Rose as she's coming in. Demi just reducing the pocket, beating Elizaberth in her tummy, on her shoulders and tits and flanks, blonde slugging hot off the ropes, catching Rose, but rarely putting two punches together. Grinding, sweaty stuff - Demi maintains position atop Lizzie, works her points, pushes off all smiling and curls-in-her-eyes at bell.

R5: Elizabeth gets the jab on Demi early; gets the palms on shoulders, shunting her aside, finally, able to maintain position midring, pushing Rose around the sand. Demi continues to drive in, but Lizzie's heavy jab starting to bash skull/shoulders to some effect- brunette taking her first heavy shots in some time, can't get Olsen moving backwards. Instead, Elizabeth able to step incrementally forward...still a job of work to push Demi off, jab her, drop a right hand down on her, but she's getting it done. Rose also less effective when she can't come forward...she's avoiding those sweeping side to side uppercuts that hurt her so badly, but she's getting bossed around as Olsen regains footing in the 5th.

R6: Elizabeth opening up the action, her slick defence a little overwhelmed last round by Demi’s urging attack, keeping her back off the ropes this round. Olsen sharp in the first minute, spiking and pivoting, but some the second, Rose swerving in low, feet nice beneath her, cuts off the ring, stubs the straight right into blonde’s hip and TURNS on a clubbing hook off the face that ragdolls Lizzie to the ropes. Demi piling on—heartstopping right/left on the waist, crouch and EXPLOSIVE hook upstairs drapes Olsen against the strands in stupor. Elizabeth clinching, badly hurt, shows tremendous poise in grabbing for time, then legging out the rest of the round as Demi walks her down.

R7: Gut check Elizabeth: she’s hurt and shaky, but she takes over with a spitting jab pivoting around a tight hook, and has Demi taking some vicious shots in the first minute. Rose’s head absorbing sensational abuse as she tries to get Olsen’s body. Lizzie timing the shorter woman exquisitely and making her pay a dreadful price this round. Down the stretch, Olsen ranging right, suddenly reverses, shocks Rose a perfectly lead right uppercut, steps right, hooks that left eye and has her Brit wobbly butt at the bell.

R8: Demi banging back Elizabeth's face with a stubby jab, blonde no longer retreating in good order--she's being hounded. Rose stooping to swing right hands across the gut stampedes her girl into the ropes and squares away as Olsen starts to shrivel. Big, beefy blows to the flanks, Demi clobbering away, heedless of counters, just opening up to bludgeon her cowering opponent. Lizzie screaming through her mouthpiece as she draws her elbows in and gives up her back--she just can't take the awful beating Rose's handing out. Halfway through, Demi bends her knees and sinks home a sickening left to the liver, imploding Elizabeth in stages to the sand, blonde writhing on her side as Rose calmly stalks away. KO7 for Demi Rose to even things out with the HOFer!

After: Elizabeth breaking down into woozy, heartbroken tears--she just can’t believe it’s over, and that Demi has stopped her. Rose climbing corner ropes and pumping her fist, trembling with KO fever, turns back the fighter who took her bantam title in sensational fashion. “She wanted it, she got it!” Rose crows in post fight. “Too much Demi tonight--that was her biggest problem.”
