Intro/Fight:
Big pressure on Beckinsale as she takes on one of the greats, Yvonne Strahovski usually fighting at Lightweight and Kate having to punch up, quite literally. First two rounds of the fight and Kate actually dominates the action, making up for her lack of height with several forays inwards and slamming leather in Yvonne’s guard and body. Strahovski holds on as best she can, but a KNOCKDOWN in the fourth round takes everyone by complete surprise! Kate continued her aggressive moves and smothered Yvonne with hooks galore, till the Australian blonde took a final hit to the chin to send her down to the canvas. Yvonne ain’t a former champion for nothing, though, recovers by the count of 7 and then pushes back with a vengeance. Kate losing steam by the time the sixth round rolls around, unable to stop the barrage of jabs and crosses sailing in to impact her face, as Yvonne drives the Brit back to the ropes and then pays her back with a hook to the ear, another uppercut driven into her jawline to DROP HER in an instance!! OUCH! This time, poor Becks gets back up but still looks hella dazed by the ropes! All Strahovski has to do is wade in and wail on the Brit, having her way with her till the referee signals for the stoppage win! Strahovski takes it via TKO6!
