Intro:
Next we see a rivalry that has steadily built up since they first fought in 2005, Eliza Dushku stopped Sophia Bush in the latters second ever fight in eight rounds, they'd meet again in 2019; where Sophia got revenge with an eighth round knockout in reply, but old grudges don't seem to die completely off, after Sophia defeated Eliza's protégé Emily Bett Rickards, words were exchanged along with shoves and they agreed they'd fight one more time.

This time though it is under special rules as the gloves literally do come off, both wanting to just tape up their fists to really hurt the other on Dubai's Black Palace Beach, how did they get to that point? Well interviews had a lot to do with it as both spoke to the media after the Bush Vs Rickards fight and of course the other person was brought up.

Bush told the FCBA Networks reporter Alicia Atout when asked about Eliza "oh she has always been jealous of me and my success out the ring, sure she has achieved more on paper in the ring, if you look over my career I was never given the same opportunitys as she did, if I had well maybe you'd call me a hall of famer, instead I was unlucky at times to say the least in my career, facts are last time we met I battered her down till she couldn't get up, that's all that matters to me" as she made it clear her view on whose the better fighter.

Eliza meanwhile was standing next to Emily when it was their turn, when Sophia's name was mentioned, the famous "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" stars eyes nearly rolled into the back of her head, replying "Sophia has been a pain in my ass for so long, I know all the crap she has talked about me over the years, hell ever since I stopped her she has complained about me, then it's how lucky I am, hell if she wanted we could have settled this outside the ring long ago, I have never been afraid to hang up my gloves to kick someone's ass, bytch is scared of me so sticks to telling her friends and fans, however little that is about me" not holding back from her own barbs.

Which led to Sophia on social media posting a video, in it as she stands in front of a heavy bag in a black bikini with her fists taped, Sophia says "oh I should have come at you without the gloves on, last I check Eliza, I am the one who has fought without the gloves on, while you have hid whenever someone dares step up to you outside the ring, so you gave me an idea to settle this score with you if you are not a pussy as I have always thought, Kendall is having a birthday party in Dubai where there be a boxing event, I have asked her already and she is happy for me to challenge you to fight, so I am daring you to come step in the ring, this time without the gloves, all talk or are you going to back it up?" She hits the bag with a straight while staring hatefully at the camera.

It isn't even an hour before the reply comes from Dushku, who does her own video where she sits at a table in a black sports bra with black boxing gloves in front of her, answering the challenge by saying "you think that boxcar crap you and Danelle Harris had years ago shows you are some badass to be feared now? F**k you Sophia! I have and will never be afraid of you, while my management are not thrilled with it, I accept your challenge" pushing the gloves off the table before she stands, the image is clear, Eliza is ready to go bare knuckle with Sophia.

Fighting time, the ring posts have been set into the sand, the select VIP crowd are sitting on deck chairs getting to watch this event and a judges table if set up near the ring, while two cameramen are on each side of the ring to capture the best views of the fights.

Sophia is the first to walk to the ring, she has Taryn Terrell working her corner with cut woman Eva Carneiro both behind her, Sophia steps foot into the ring looking deadly serious, wearing a red bikini top, black denim shorts and has her hands in red hand wraps, while her hair is in a braid, understandably Sophia takes a breath to keep herself relaxed, knowing how tough a fight where you have no padding on your fists can be in her limited experience in bare knuckle fighting.

Here comes Eliza with Charisma Carpenter working her corner with the Medallion cut man walking behind them, Eliza also has an ice cold stare, though hers is aimed firmly on her rival, climbing through the ropes wearing a navy blue bikini top, blue denim shorts, blue hand wraps and her hair is braided too, she kisses her fists before shadow boxing to get into the zone for this risky fight.

The referee waves both fighters to the center, pointing out to them that this is still boxing, hair pulling is frown upon, wrestling, etc, neither fighter seems to be paying much attention, more focused on the woman who soon enough will be looking to ram their fist through their face, the fighters lightly touch fists to show at least a tiny bit of respect, they then walk to their corners, hugs from their coaches show a hint of worry from them, the bell then rings, starting 10 rounds of bantamweight bare knuckle boxing action.

Round 1:
At the bell both circle slowly, knowing once the fists start flying things are going to be chaotic, neither landing a solid blow through the opening thirty seconds as they feel each other out, then both step in with straights that snaps the others head back, stepping back checking they aren't cut already, gritting their mouthpieces as they stare angrily at each other.

More blows start to come at the minute mark, getting in closer to work the body as well as each others cheeks, it's Sophia who lands the first solid blow, feinting before landing a right hook under the left eye of Eliza, who winces and finds herself on the back foot as Sophia powers forwards with a jab/straight combo slicing through the guard of her rival to her face, Dushku on the back foot firing out a jab to try to slow down her opponent, Sophia has the bit between her teeth, landing several solid blows to mark up the cheeks of Eliza.

Before Sophia can get too comfortable, a straight slams into her chest, followed by a left cross, forcing Sophia to retreat back to the middle of the ring, they decide to step in to exchange, throwing caution to the wind, some punches dig into ribs, other cuff around ears as they bark in effort and groan in pain, the bell rings with both looking at their knuckles to make sure they are ok, marks already showing on both fighters faces as they retreat to their stools.

Round 2:
Now warmed up to the task at hand, both are throwing stiff jabs through guards, then landing straights when they see openings, Eliza draws first blood with a sweeping left hook, cutting the bridge of Sophia's nose, which of course Eliza targets with malice in her eyes.

Sophia boxing around near the ropes, moving side to side not to get pinned down as Eliza holds the center, the cracks of fist on faces ring out as some ringside wince, Sophia can't seem to hold off Eliza, who soon has her on the ropes after a right cross lands into her face, as Sophia clinches, Eliza works her kidneys with her right, making Bush grimace as the referee breaks them up, warning Dushku to keep things clean.

Resuming with under a minute to go, Sophia starts to land some nice counters, Eliza focusing maybe a bit too much on the cut, missing more as Sophia moves her upper body more, at the bell it's a good solid round for Eliza, who looks at the blood on her wraps and likes what she sees.

Round 3:
The punches are certainly not getting softer, there is a little more holding and hitting from both, Sophia managing to land a nasty right around the left eye of her opponent, Eliza feeling some swelling around it, referee calling a time out to warn both about the holding, there's a quick fist bump between the fighters at the order of the referee, quickly both try to catch the other unaware by stepping in with straight punches that crack into faces, soon ending up clinched up trying to wrestle each other to the sand.

Referee after warning them again splits them up, Eliza causes more blood to flow from the nose of Sophia after landing a straight to it, driving Sophia to the ropes after landing a left/right hook combo, Sophia covering up as she looks to be starting to feel these punches, another clinch coming after Bush feels her body being tested out by punches.

Broken up once more, Sophia is boxing off the back foot as Eliza seems to have grabbed control of the action, stabbing in her punches with more success as Sophia tries to catch her off the back foot, soon the round comes to an end, Sophia sitting down getting her nose patched up as she shuts her eyes and takes a breath, Eliza looking relaxed after another strong round.

Round 4:
Trading again soon enough as they look determined, Sophia catches out Eliza with a right hook that the swelling around her left eye, then a left hook cuts above the eyebrow of the former "Buffy the Vampire" star, making Eliza yelp as she backs off, Sophia is in a hunting mood, she soon finds a double jab landing square into her face to slow her in her tracks in this hard hitting contest.

Second minute with Eliza trying to hurt Sophia back, she misses with a left cross, taking a right that cuts under her left eye now, Eliza going defensive as Sophia now piles the pressure on, working the body of Dushku when she can't get through to her head, Eliza now clinching up to stop Bush, both landing rabbit punches behind the others head, making the referee rush in to push them apart, warning both to stick to the rules as the referee is certainly earning their paycheck here.

Final minute sees Sophia continue to be the aggressor, Eliza is just missing with her counters, maybe some blood running into her right eye, Sophia bashing her rival more to the body when she gets in closer, heads nearly clashing before Eliza holds onto Sophia, the round coming to an end with Eliza looking a mess, her corner working hard to patch and clean her up as she looks understandably scared by the damage she took that round, Sophia needs washing down too as she sits on her stool, difference being she is staring at Eliza like she is her prey.

Round 5:
Eliza is up but as soon as a left hook smacks around to her right eye, she already looks in trouble as she cries out, Sophia showing no mercy as she bullies her bitter rival to the ropes, AN UPPERCUT LANDS SNEAKILY ONTO THE CHIN OF DUSHKU! WHO FALLS ONTO HER KNEES!

Sophia marches over to the neutral corner as Eliza looks out of it, 1...2...3... Eliza leans back onto the middle ropes, looking in a state, 4...5...6... Charisma in her corner covers her mouth in shock at the sight of her friend, 7...8... Who shuts her eyes as 9...10 she is counted out!

Winner Sophia Bush KO Round 5

After:
"F**king come on!" Yells Sophia, elated after winning such a brutal contest, she walks over to her corner to get a well earned hug from Taryn, who tells her "you will always have my respect after that bout" patting Sophia on her right shoulder, before Sophia sits down to get a drink and cleaned up.

Eliza meanwhile has to be helped over to her stool, getting patched up as she has a swollen left eye, she does look better once wiped down and treated, but still she looks down at her feet, knowing she lost this one and bragging rights go to Sophia after so many years of them hating each other.

Once their hand wraps are taken off, there's a tense moment as Sophia walks past Taryn, going to the Medallion corner, Eliza looks up with her fists clenched, till Sophia puts out her right hand, telling Eliza "look I think you are a bytch and maybe this isn't the end of our feud, but you have my respect" making Eliza nod, pushing shakily to her feet, Eliza shakes the hand to show they at least respect each other, even if Christmas cards will not be getting exchanged between them.

Helped out the ring by Charisma, Eliza is helped to the hotel, she'll need a few days at least to recover from this fight, telling Charisma that she will stick to boxing gloves from now on, making Charisma laugh as she nods, that elusive hundredth win will have to wait for another day.

In the ring a jubilant Sophia yells "to all those who hate me!" Baring her bruised fists to the cameras, she continues "you know I will fight anyone, gloves or no gloves, bring it on!" She smiles as moments later her right hand is raised in victory, getting on a roll lately.

Before she leaves the ring she sees Kim Kardashian at ringside, waving to her before raising a right fist to her with a grin, maybe a friendly challenge to her stablemates big sister, Kim all smiles though not nodding, maybe thinking about if after seeing what Sophia will go through to fight.

Leaving the ring, Sophia leans a little on Taryn, admitting she is feeling the pain now as they walk off the beach, hurting all over after this personal grudge fight, a well earned shower and rest for the winner as Taryn is all smiles for her former rival turned friend.
