Before the bell: “I’m super grateful to the management at Empire for taking a chance on me despite Olivia’s objections. Honestly, I don’t know much about Adria beyond her out of ring work and I don’t expect this one to go the distance. For me, this is a tune up before I battle Anjte later this month, and maybe Olivia’s pet Aly if she ever builds up the courage to face me” states a confident Jennifer Lawrence. “Jenny shouldn’t overlook me. While I’m still relatively new in this league and have a lot to learn I did knock out Luisana. I plan to outbox her and put her lack of conditioning to the test” snarls Adria Arjona.

J-Law gives chase, but time and time again she’s repelled by Adria’s needling jab when she tries to close the distance. Finally, in frustration, the blonde rushes forward towards her foe as she skirts along the ropes, but Arjona’s ready for her as she shifts her hands and snaps a left cross off Jennifer’s cheek that freezes her on the spot. J-Law quickly shifts her hands as Adria bludgeons her from her seat on the ropes, peppering the bigger girl's body with a trio of hooks as the bell sounds to end the first.

R2: Both girls rush out of their corners and meet at mid ring. Jennifer is going back to her bread and butter as she focuses on Adria’s lean core, spanking shots off her breasts and abs as she ducks beneath the brunette’s counter left before lancing her in the belly button with a left hook. The brunette nearly spits out her mouthpiece in shock as she pulls Lawrence in for a clinch as the two wrestle for position. Both girls have a hand free as they slap shots off opposing ribs to prevent the official from stepping in, legs flexing as they hold, punch, push, press, and repeat on their way to the ropes. Once they get there the blonde takes control, slowly twisting as she forces Adria to a seat before shoving her off and blasting her head back with a right uppercut. Arjona’s rattled as she cowers behind her mitts, leaning forward as J-Law slams a pair of lefts off her exposed ribs at the bell.

R3: Adria seething as she rises for the third, setting up in her corner as she forces the bigger blonde to come to her. J-Law making her way forward behind her left jab, popping a quick four punch flurry off her guard before dipping to begin tearing away at her body. Arjona’s got her scouted this time, as she blasts the blonde in the mouth with a straight left just as she ducks and follows up with a right hook that swivels J-Law’s head and forces her to take a few steps backwards as Adria surges forward, hammering the blonde’s exposed body as she covers up earmuff. Jennifer absorbs a great deal of leather, but the brunette is unable to hurt her as she shakes off the punishment and pulls Arjona in for a clinch. Adria snarls as she wriggles in J-Law’s grip, raising her left arm just enough to dig the pit of her elbow into the blonde’s breasts to force her to disengage, she ducks beneath a sledgehammer of a right, but she’s unable to avoid a pair of follow up lefts to the body that force the brunette to disengage at the bell. As they prepare to return to their respective corners the pair jaw at one another, bringing the official rushing forward to ensure that they save it for the fourth.

R4: Adria seething as she leaves her stool, using her speed and footwork to dart beneath a left hook as she thrusts a trio of stinging jabs into J-Law’s breasts, the brunette ducks beneath Jennifer’s counter left and blasts her in the mouth with a straight right hand that wobbles the blonde’s legs. J-Law is rocked and Ajorna eagerly makes her way forward, letting her hands fly as she spanks hooks off the blonde’s flanks as J-Law is forced to take a seat on the ropes as Adria lights her body up with pink tracks of hurt as the crowd roars. After soaking up a beating for the better part of twenty seconds, Jennifer manages to snare the brunette’s left beneath her right as she pulls her in for a clinch. Arjona snarls as she tries to free herself, twisting in futility as she’s pulled in cheek to cheek as they exchange bodyshots with their free hands until the bell.

R5: Cameron pulls Jennifer in close, forehead to forehead before the opening bell to provide final instructions as the buxom blonde nods in agreement. As the bell sounds J-Law seems to have taken it to heart as she slams her gloves together and wades her way forward, thrusting out a pair of rapid jabs off Arjona’s mitts before dipping to spank a flurry of hooks off her belly and flanks to force her brunette to the ropes. Adria leans against the cables as she attempts to bob and weave away from the resurgent blonde, but this severely limits her ability to mount much offense as she’s unable to plant her feet and get much if any mustard on her punches. Jennifer keeps up the pressure, tapping Arjona’s guard up top as she stuffs leather into her exposed core and keeps her left high to butt the reeling brunette backwards whenever she tries to clinch. In the final moments Adria manages to blast J-Law in the mouth with a pair of hooks, but the big blonde is unfazed as she shakes her head and blasts the brunette in the mouth sending her bouncing off the ropes and into another left to the forehead as the bell mercifully sounds to end the fifth. Lawrence is greeted with a slap on the derriere from Cameron as she returns to the Empire corner. Across the ring Adria is mouth breathing, clearly feeling J-Law’s top tier bodywork through five.

R6: Adria shows far more caution as she enters the sixth, moving her head more and using her legs to keep her back off the ropes to prevent J-Law from trapping her against the ropes anymore. Lawrence doesn’t make it easy for her girl as she stalks her brunette and snaps jabs off her guard as she seeks to bully her way back inside. J-Law puts her foot on the gas in the final minute as she knows that Adria might be up by a few points, rifling pinpoint shots above the brunette’s guard before battering her belly and flanks with hooks as Arjona is forced to cover up and endure a brutal barrage of hooks to the body, several of which snap off her naval and trunks as J-Law works her back to the ropes. Fortunately for Adria the bell rings before J-Law can torment her further. Between rounds Adria looks out on her feet as she lolls on her stool, chest heaving as her seconds try to get her ready for the seventh.

R7: Adria is slow getting off her stool, staggering as she rises and sets up along the ropes as she tries to shake off the hurt. Ringsiders are screaming for the official to stop the fight as Arjona desperately tries to protect her lead if not her career. Before long J-Law comes a knocking and proceeds to beat her brunette back to the stone age. The battered brunette hides her face behind her mitts, tears dripping down her face and off her bikini top as the blonde batters her core. Adria is swaying in the wind, jerking from side to side on impact as she slowly goes out, taking a seat on the second rpe before Jennifer blasts a right uppercut through her guard that nearly sends Arjona spilling out of the ring. The official bodies back a roaring J-Law as the brunette slowly falls downwards to the canvas, shoulders perched on the second rope as her head droops into her heaving chest. The official doesn’t bother to count waiving it off! KO7 Jennifer Lawrence!

Jennifer is upbeat during post fight interviews, thanking Adria for a good fight and commenting that while Adria might give Aly or Sienna a rough night at bantam, she’s better off staying out of the higher weight classes. While J-Law looks to finally be getting it together, you can’t help but wonder if her new game plan will work in her upcoming bout against the always dangerous Antje Utgaard.
