Natasha Liu Bordizzo (Fates) vs Rose Betram (Free Agent)

Fates Boxing was rumored to be looking for new girls for a long time but the stable was expected to keep it a models only affair at the upper weights given the stable’s success with girls like Emily DiDonato and Ming Xi. When a bantamweight was announced and a true rookie with no fights to her name, the FCBA was caught off guard. The newest bantamweight member of Fates Boxing of Natasha Liu Bordizzo makes her FCBA debut against Sports Illustrated model Rose Bertram. Bertram is two inches taller and has three fights in the FCBA already and is fighting on sand.

“Fates is going to bill Natasha to be Elizabeth Olsen’s replacement at bantamweight as Lizzie gets older but I want to warn Fates,” Rose says, “Natasha’s losing her first fight in the FCBA and I am going to prove that I should have a stable once I knock her out in a ‘welcome to the FCBA moment’.”

“Rose has been in the FCBA since 2019 and only has three fights and she is unranked.” Natasha fires back. “Rose has no right to talk. Once I take her down I will move on to the next girl. If Lizzie Olsen wants me and prove that her time’s not done yet like she kept on saying when she was trying to get into the hall of fame, then let her at me.”

Rose steps out onto the sand first and the blonde is wearing a white bikini set with matching gloves. The SI girl poses for the crowd and is confidently moving around the sand feeling at home. Natasha is announced next and the Australian girl steps out wearing a red bikini set and black gloves. The crowd cheers for the Fates girl and she steps foot in the ring, her eyes down and her gloves shaking. Bertram calls out “I’ll make this quick for you!” and taunts her. The referee brings the two girls together and asks them to touch gloves. Natasha holds her gloves out and Rose looks at them before thudding her gloves against the rookie’s. The two girls go back to their corners and the bell rings.

Round 1:

Rose comes out swinging and she blasts through Natasha’s gloves with her first volley and the Fates girl is retreating. Bertram going body and she’s a pounding Liu Bordizzo. NLB a deer in the headlights as Rose works her into the ropes and pounds a left into her midriff. Natasha clinches and the referee steps in to separate the two girls. The ref restarts the fight and the Aussie shoots out a left that pops the Belgian model in her face. Natasha as surprised as Rose and the actress connects with a blow to Rose’s ribs but she takes a left back into her face that draws blood and Bertram chases after her to the bell. NLB on her heels the first round and Rose looks at home on the beach.

Round 2:

Rose making fighting on the beach look easy and the model dodges a left from the actress and finds another left into her foe’s body but this time drives her onto her toes. Liu Bordizzo’s toned midriff taking the blow but the actress lets out a gasp but Bertram knocks her back before she can clinch. Rose with a right into her face again to reopen the wound and the actress is staggered early. Bertram looking to finish as she unleashes clubbing blows and the newest member of Fates is covering her head as she looks for counters. Natasha with a weak left after Rose bounces a blow off of her gloves but Bertram drives her into the ropes and goes body again. Natasha holds on to the bell but Rose may get her first win and dominate Natasha.

Round 3:

NLB meets Bertram in the middle of the ring for the third round and the model connects with a pair of punches early. The crowd murmuring as the rookie seems to find herself right in front of their eyes as she works a stick and shift style and it is working. Raven haired beauty finding blows into the blonde and shifting before she gets punished back. Rookie keeping it fluid now that she is in a rhythm and she is landing her punches. Bertram frustrated and the blonde shoves the smaller girl back the next time she comes in for a punch. Before the ref can warn her the model hits the actress in her chest and knocks her back. Liu Bordizzo scowls and the two girls trade punches in the center of the ring before getting tangled. Bertram with a cheap blow in the middle of the scrum and leaves Liu Bordizzo complaining to the ref but the ref has his head in a bag. The bell rings and the actress still argues with the ref and the more experienced Bertram may have found her strategy.

Round 4:

Rose getting under Natasha’s skin and the model starts to show off her power with thumping lefts and rights as she bounds across the sand. Natasha seemingly caught by surprise with each blow in the fight and the actress barely blocks a haymaker with her gloves. Liu Bordizzo with yet another left as a counter but Rose ducks it and snaps the smaller girl’s head back with a right. Natasha covering up and Bertram going to candy land by working over the smaller girl’s body. The thuds of Rose’s gloves on Nat’s toned body echo around the arena and the crowd stops murmuring as the more experienced girl gains the upper hand. Rose wanting to make this a slugfest and she’s getting it but Natasha’s guard is stronger than in earlier rounds and the actress makes it to the end of the round but not before Rose lands another cheap shot with this one captured by the ref.

Round 5:

Bertram charges out of her corner hungry for her first win and she digs a right into Liu Bordizzo’s ribs. Rose follows up with a right but it sails wide as Natasha connects with a haymaker into the blonde’s face! Rose stunned and NLB gives her a taste of her own medicine as she drives her back into the ropes. Natasha now working over Rose and the blonde winces as the shorter girl gets her revenge for some of the cheap shots from the previous rounds. Liu Bordizzo keeping it textbook from close quarters but the bigger girl clinches and the referee separates the two. Out of the break Rose lands a right to draw a snarl out of Natasha and the Aussie smashes a left through her foe’s guard. The bell rings and the crowd comes alive again as Natasha is finding her stride.

Round 6:

NLB charges out of her corner now and the crowd roars when the actress rocks the model with a right. Liu Bordizzo’s seeming shyness of the prior rounds gone and the actress follows up with a left into Rose’s body. Bertram fighting back and the blonde senses her chances at victory slipping. Rose landing a thumping left into the chest of the smaller girl and she knocks her backward. Natasha sidesteps a right and sticks a left into the model’s face. NLB sticking and shifting around Bertram and the actress is playing target practice with the bigger girl’s head. Rose’s nose starting to trickle blood and the blonde girl slowing down. Nat landing two blows now and driving Rose back. Rose plants her feet and swings in a desperation punch that Natasha ducks under and the actress connects with a left hook into a right uppercut but Rose is still standing. Bertram with another wild blow and Liu Bordizzo with a right left hook combo that sends the blonde to the canvas. The crowd starts chanting “NLB! NLB! NLB!” And drowns out the ref’s count. Rose picks her head off of the sand but the ref is waving his arms. Your winner by KO6 in her first fight in the FCBA, the newest member of Fates, Natasha Liu Bordizzo!”

After:

Bordizzo sinks to her knees with happiness as Elizabeth Olsen rushes into the ring to congratulate what many assume to be her apparent successor. Natasha and Elizabeth embrace before Olsen pulls NLB up to her feet and raises her arm to the applause of the crowd. Natasha mounts the ring post and smiles for the crowd as Rose Bertram wipes tears from her eyes. The raven haired beauty dismounts the ring post and goes over to the model before hugging her and giving her a round of applause before the model heads to the back to talk to the press. Natasha still celebrating her win, the girl walking around the ringside signing autographs and taking photos with her fans as a new fan favorite for the stable emerges and she savors the victory of her first fight

Bertram talking first to the press afterward while NLB was taking photos. “I will get Lizzie and Natasha that is a guarantee.” The blonde promises. Maybe Lizzie I take JMD but I will get both of those girls. That is a promise.”

Liu Bordizzo talks to the press later. “I can’t believe I won my first fight. I was surprised at first. You don’t know what it is like until you get hit but I came out on top. This is going to be just one of many fights and victories for me at Fates. I am glad the stable picked me up and they have champion history with Lizzie and Emily and Taylor and Blake. I am the next generation of champions at Fates.”
