Before:
The second round of the SI tournament sees Odds & Ends Kelsey Merritt take on her arch nemesis Emily Didonato from Fates. The two brunettes have stepped foot in the ring three times with each other and Emily has won each of the fights as well as beating stable queen Adriana Lima at the O&E 10 year card.
Merritt and the Odds & Ends staff know DiDonato will be a tough test but facing the Fates girl is a chance to fix a sore spot for the beach fighting juggernaut.
Emily DiDonato is in the midst of a nightmare freefall losing five straight fights and getting humiliated by a trio of blondes of Kate Upton, Taylor Swift, and Blake Lively including losing her 100th fight. A win in the first round broke her skid but the brunette has made herself infamous for losing in tournaments.
Kelsey post a video to social media before the fight. “When I signed up for this tournament I knew I wanted to send Emily home. She’s beaten me too many times and she’s beaten my stable. This is personal and I am going to send that past her prime model packing.”
DiDonato fires back on social media. “Girls are at their most dangerous when they are in the corner. Kelsey hasn’t won anything yet and doesn’t know what is coming for her in the fight.”
Come time for the fight Kelsey is the first girl to come out and the Odds & Ends girl wears a black bikini set with white gloves and black trim. Merritt shadow boxes in her corner waiting for DiDonato to step out. The Goshen Goddess steps out with a blue bikini set and red gloves. The two girls don’t bother touching gloves and are sizing each other up until the ref calls for the bell.
Round 1:
DiDonato the bigger girl and she tries to use her size and reach to hurt Merritt early but the Odds and Ends girl is light on her feet and she avoids the heavy punches from the Fates girl. Kelsey dips under a left from Emily and she lands a chop into Emily’s mouth and follows up with a short left into her chest. Merritt stays in close to work the bigger girl’s body but DiDonato didn’t win two lightweight titles without her close game and the former champion digs in punches of her own into the smaller girl. The two models get tangled as they trade blows and the referee steps into separate them. Emily looking for a jab on the continuation of the action and her blow sails wide of Kelsey’s head and the younger girl snaps Emily’s head back with a left. The bell rings and Merritt takes the first round of the fight.
Round 2:
Merritt light on her feet and the younger model knows DiDo is looking for power. Merritt feinting left and right to keep the older girl on her toes. Emily with a jab back at Kelsey but the Odds & Ends girl dips under the blow and digs a right into Emily’s chest. Merritt follows up with a short punch into DiDonato’s face and she clinches before Emily can respond. Merritt gets the break and the two models start circling each other. Merritt again with her jabs but DiDonato not falling for the feints and DiDo connects with a right into Kelsey’s face. Emily bounds forward but takes a left from the smaller girl and the Fates girl has to cover up as Merritt digs in two blows to her body before the bell.
Round 3:
Kelsey looking to pick up where she left off but Emily hitting her stride to start the third and the Fates girl works her jab on the smaller girl. Merritt getting marched back by DiDonato and the bigger girl is picking her shots to the body. Kelsey wincing as Emily shows off her power but the Odds & Ends girl takes the punches and starts to work the Fates girl back in her body but DiDo is stronger. Emily knocks Kelsey into the ropes with a thumping blow to her chest and the older model digs a right into the younger girl’s midriff to drive the air out of her lungs. Merritt winces and clinches before DiDonato can follow up with any more punches and the bell rings to end the round.
Round 4:
DiDonato picking up where she left off and the bigger girl drives a hard right into Merritt’s body. Kelsey backpedaling as Emily chases after her. Ems with a left into Kelsey’s toros to follow up and the Fates girl goes for a right straight but the Odds & Ends girl dodges the blow and connects with a left into Emily’s face. Kelsey with a quick follow up into her chest and she’s now working the bigger girl back. Both girls in phone booth boxing and the fight is even in the second minute. Merritt changes tactics in the third as she bobs out of DiDonato’s range and the Fates girl steps forward to close distance. Merritt with a quick right into her jugs before a left into her mouth and the O&E girl retreats and shifts. Emily snarling and the older model chases after the younger girl but Kelsey is quick on her feet and finds her counters into Emily. The bell rings and Merritt wins the round on points.
Round 5:
Kelsey tactical out of her corner and egging the bigger Emily into overcommitting on each of her strikes. Merritt sticking and shifting and its working. Kelsey connects with a left counter into Emily’s ribs early in the round and digs in a right into her face after. The bigger girl looking on her heels and the smaller girl dips in and out of her range as she sticks the Fates girl with punches. Emily’s ribs turning red from Kelsey’s blows and the two time champion is struggling to find her offense. Merritt keeping up with her darting and wearing on DiDonato’s body and the O&E girl is sticking to her fight plan. The bell rings and Kelsey takes the fifth and is fighting the fight she wanted to.
Round 6:
Merritt continuing to start out strong and she slips under Didonato’s lefts and rights to target the bigger girl’s body. Emily scrapping in close range but Kelsey just doing it better and the shorter girl uses her speed to work Emily’s body. DiDonato clinches before Merritt lands too many blows and the girls are separated. Emily feints left and Kelsey drives right only to meet Emily’s gloves. DiDonato hammering with lefts and rights into Merritt’s body and the Fates girl gets the fight she wants with heavy punches. Kelsey darting back to keep her distance and the O&E girl knows she can’t beat Emily in a slugfest. The two girls dance around the ring but Emily can’t land heavy hits on Kelsey and the bell rings.
Round 7:
The two brunettes still with plenty of fight left in them as they leave their corners and trade blows. Both girls getting the blows they want and Kelsey is connecting with fast quick blows and Emily is laying on with the power. Both model’s midriffs are bright red from the blows. The second minute of the round begins and Emily throws a feint that catches Kelsey by surprise and the younger girl’s exposed her head by throwing her punch early. DiDonato connects with a left hook and Merritt is sent reeling backward. Emily with a right straight into Kelsey’s face and the smaller girl is driven into the ropes and on comes Emily to make it three straight wins against Kelsey. DiDonato burying leather into the smaller girl’s midriff, driving her up on her toes with each strike. Emily taking the speed out of the smaller girl’s legs and Kelsey clinches to stop the punishment. The two girls are separated and the fight continues. DiDonato with another jab but Merritt slips under it and connects with Emily’s chin. DiDo wobbly and Merritt sinking leather into the bigger girl’s face at the bell! Kelsey surges late and Emily struggling to get back to her corner.
Round 8:
DiDonato stumbles out of her corner and Merritt’s eyes light up. Kelsey taking advantage of Emily’s limited mobility and she’s jabbing with her right and connecting with left hooks. DiDonato still has long legs and the bigger girl covers ground but it’s not anywhere near as graceful as the model usually is. DiDo covering up and Merritt shifts her focus to the Fates girl’s body. Kelsey rhythmically thumping the bigger girl’s body. Emily lashes out with a short right into Kelsey’s body and the smaller girl takes it but the bigger model follows up with a thumping left to her chest to knock her back. There is separation between the two girls and Emily steps forward with a right haymaker that only connects with the air and Kelsey finds Emily’s solar plexus! The Fates girl gasps in pain as she doubles over and Merritt’s pounds DiDonato’s head with uppercuts until she finds the one that drops Emily to the ground in a heap! DiDonato crawling to the ropes but the ref’s at eight when she grabs a hold of them. The two time champion tries to drag herself up but she doesn’t have the strength and your winner by KO8 Kelsey Merritt!
After:
“About f*cking time!” Kelsey exclaims as she vanquishes the arch nemesis of Odds & Ends and a girl who beat her three times. Merritt prances around the ring before coming to the defeated DiDonato on all fours.
“This is payback!” Kelsey yells as she rips Emily’s bikini top off of her.
“You b*tch!” Emily shouts as she covers up her jugs but Kelsey’s grabbed her hair, sat on her back and wrapped her legs around Emily’s trunk!
“Time to ride Dildo!” Merritt coos and kicks her heels into DiDonato’s body.
Emily lurches forward but the brunette is weak after getting knocked out in six out of her last seven fights. The Goshen Goddess makes it halfway around the ring before she collapses.
"So weak!” Kelsey shouts at the defeated model as she raises Emily’s bikini top and plants her foot on Emily’s back. Merritt finally overcomes the girl who ruined her previous title bids and the Goshen Goddess’s nightmare continues with her sixth loss in seven fights. |
