BEFORE:
“I'm fighting a big star tonight....” Avril says with all the muster of a sarcastic grin from her seat at the press table. “Jenna's all the rage right now. I personally thought 'Wednesday' was pretty lame, but what do I know? She's getting her 15 minutes of fame, I guess that's why she's getting a title shot after like, 4 fights? Either that, or beating Maddie makes you a title contender these days. Pffff. She’s not even legal to drink! But, you know me…” the Canadian smiles. “I LOVE putting new girls in their place. You'll see who REALLY deserves a title shot tonight. Spoiler alert: ME, duh!" Avril giggles, clearly seeing the newbie as her next victim.

From the other end of the room, Jenna doesn’t look too worried, however. In fact, the rising American starlet is just 20 years old, and she’s dealing with the accumulated fame and attention well enough, smirking confidently before looking over in Avril’s direction.

"Sorry you didn't enjoy Wednesday. It's not for everyone," Ortega sneers. “Also, didn't Maddie knock you down TWICE on her boxing debut? Maddie is really good. Probably better than you at this point. But guess how many times she knocked ME down?” Jenna pauses with a smirk. “I earned my title shot with my 4 wins over much more experienced fighters like Breslin, Cole and Ziegler. I'm looking forward to adding you to that list, Av. You’ll learn to respect me after tonight."

The GBS starlet and Doll face off at the podium, and we might as well have a night versus day comparison here. Both girls are around the same height, but Avril’s more mature and stockier physique should give her the power advantage in this contest against Ortega’s leaner and more slender body. However, the young actress is clearly the faster and more agile of the two. Girls stare each other down, with Avril almost 20 years the young actress’ senior but filled with the same drive and determination. The Doll’s knocked down a newcomer many times before, coming in with that wealth of experience.

Hours later, Ortega is in one corner of the ring, jumping up an down and looking ready to go in a white sports bra and black boxing trunks, her ebony hair tied in a high bun and she’s wearing black gloves for this contest. In the opposite corner, Lavigne is wearing her usual black sports bra and short tights, both lined with pink and matching pink-black gloves, wearing her shoulder length blonde hair loose.

Referee signals for the opening bell, and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Flyweight action!

ROUND 1:
It’s another must-win fight for Avril, who recently took out another girl two heads taller than herself, and extended her winning streak to six. More importantly, the Doll wants to prove she's the ONE most deserving of a title shot, especially after putting away the former champ in just six rounds. She pesters Ortega’s guard early with punches, landing the occasional shot off her body. Avril’s trying to beat her quick and fast, and is hounding Ortega with plenty of flurries to the arms and body. The Doll clearly holds some resentment for Jenna getting the title shot before herself, and is showing it. Another hook to the side of the head sends Jenna stumbling somewhat, but Ortega merely resets her stance and her guard. Second half of the opener and Jenna shows us why she’s the challenger for the Flyweight crown, storming in to brawl with the Doll regardless of the danger. Avril takes a left-right combo to the body before her arms are battered back as well, the Doll snarling, not expecting the challenger to fight back this early. Bell rings and while Avril took it close, she’s not liking the energy levels on her foe.

ROUND 2:
Avril’s trademark style of rushing down newbies and knocking them down early ain’t gonna cut it this time round, however. For one, Ortega’s not THAT much of a rookie, having gone undefeated in four runs and soon to be five if she clinches the coveted title from champion Millie Bobby Brown. For two, Ortega’s got the speed and agility to wade around Avril’s ammunition, dodging around more hooks and overhands in the first minute, before punting the Doll back to her nose and chin. Lavigne figured out her opponent’s resolve the hard way, and for three, Ortega’s NOT AFRAID to get in close and dirty, meeting Avril’s fire with her own! Ortega bashes in shots to the face, driving Lavigne back in the final seconds of the round, then going after her toned midsection with similar fury of swipes. Avril gets off the occasional nick on the arms or side, but those are more the result of wild luck, rather than skill. Bell rings and Ortega takes it wide, a wider smirk on her face as she heads back to her corner!

ROUND 3:
Lavigne STILL aggressive, NO respect for the youngster as she rushes in and starts hammering Ortega with even more power and even less poise. There’s some pent-up resentment here indeed for the young challenger, and each hook slammed into Ortega’s guard carries the weight of not holding the Flyweight belt after all these damn years. Avril shrieks with rage even as Ortega tries to counter-fight back, the brunette tagging her on the stomach with a low hook, which was definitely meant to stop her momentum. Nosiree! Lavigne responds with a swipe of her own clean across Ortega’s face, sending her spinning, her mouth agape! Ortega’s in danger of being overpowered if she doesn’t find a counter for the Doll’s aggression, but all she can do is breathe hard and keep both arms up for now, as Avril continues to hound her back and close to the ropes. Bell rings and the Dollhouse corner looks a little more impressed and hopeful for their Queen’s performance, but also worried that she might run out of steam soon.

ROUND 4:
Ortega’s staying focused as well, no longer smirking those thinned lips on each corner of her mouth, her arms weathered but firmly locked over her face as she meets Avril head-on. Testing jabs find their mark, as both girls bang away tit-for-tat in the center, though Avril’s clearly getting outmatched in longer-distanced-combat. The Doll knows this, as her jabs are hitting the arms instead of Ortega’s face, and ROARS inwards once more in the second, swiping at Ortega’s guard and tummy beneath. Ortega should have expected this but she moves away too slowly, gets caught by a double whammy to the stomach, then her ribs, making her grunt and finally retreat. Here comes Avril, though, trying to mop up and call it a dominant victory, claim her throne as the number one contender to the Flyweight crown! She NAILS Ortega with another hook to the temple, which sends her reeling! But Ortega manages to swerve back and avoid the knockout blow, suddenly wrapping up with the Doll with her back pressed into the ropes. She SAVES HERSELF precious seconds in this tight clinch, Avril growling into her ear and trying to shove off the insolent youngster to punish her some more! Bell rings and Jenna looks worse for wear - Avril might truly be the toughest challenge in her budding career to date!

ROUND 5:
Ortega with less brawling now, more strategic flurries at Avril’s face, designed to overwhelm and frustrate. Avril tries to close distance again, but at a slower pace, now grunting and letting out roars of outrage whenever Ortega’s fists find her lips and nostrils first. Jenna’s stamina is doing wonders for her comeback here - sure, she just lost the last two rounds and almost got herself knocked off her feet, but the youngster is coming back with targeted strikes from afar, smooshing that right glove into Lavigne’s face at every opportunity, then swerving back to avoid bigger hooks. Lavigne’s run out of steam and she knows it, has to resort to trading jabs with the rookie from afar, and hope that they’ll be enough to overpower her. Jenna takes some hard knocks towards the end of the round, but her firm guard and fluid head movement means she’s dishing out more than she takes. A big wide round goes back to Ortega, who might have successfully turned the tide as Avril’s left sucking in air on the ropes!

Round 6:
Ortega pushes in, sensing Miss Lavigne’s fading prospects! Avril’s suddenly on the defensive, chest heaving and mouth wide open, trying to snatch desperate breath! Ortega not giving her the chance, however, shocking a panicking Lavigne to the body with lefts and rights, then cramming more crosses into the arms, trying to break the guard apart and score off the Doll’s vulnerable chin! Avril gets pressed into each corner, desperately covering up but not being able to stop Jenna from having her way with her as the actress pummels her down low! The crowd on their feet sensing an upset as Lavigne is not built to take too much more of this body abuse and Ortega’s packing surprising power and determination behind each punch, sending another straight hand into the center of the singer’s midsection, making the Doll LURCH forward in shock. Avril’s WAVERING on the spot, trying to straighten up and that gum shield is already poking out between her lips! The blonde manages to take a couple of steps off to the left, trying to outrun the agile challenger and run for her life…but Jenna’s too quick and is ALL OVER HER keeping the blonde guessing, now landing clean combos to her face and chin ringing Lavigne’s head like a bell. OUGH! The Doll eats another sharp hook to the body and groans as she doubles over again and this is all too much for the older blonde as it only takes two more swings before the singer’s arms drop lifelessly! Poor Avril seems to be out on her feet as she succumbs to the smaller girl’s furious assault offering no more resistance as the tiny terror pummels her mercilessly and FINISHES her off right before the ref can stop this senseless beating by BLASTING the older blonde’s jaw with another BIG right hook!!! Good night Avril Lavigne! The ragdolled Canadian sent CRUMBLING down like a sack of potatoes, hitting the mat on her side with a thud, her gumshield flying out of her mouth and her eyelids fluttering! Lavigne slowly rolls over onto her back, utterly flattened and still, eyelids closed now, her limp arms resting lifelessly on the mat above her head! She’s OUT COLD! Stick a fork in her - Queen Lavigne is DONE and her sweat-drenched chest and belly heaving rapidly is the only sign she’s even alive as she lies motionless on the canvas. The ref has no choice but to immediately end this fight and call for the bell! It’s OVER!

Official Decision: Jenna Ortega defeats Avril Lavigne via KO6!

AFTER:
WOW! A standing ovation for the GBS mega-star who raises both arms in the air, smiling wide for the fans after achieving the biggest most impressive win in her short career, proving she deserves her upcoming title shot and completely shutting down the naysayers as she demolishes Lavigne in the 6th, ending the Doll’s 6 fights win streak in the process and leaving the poor Canadian in serious need of medical help as the Dollhouse team rush into the ring to revive their star fighter.

This is the second top Dollhouse flyweight Ortega has left in ruins after knocking out fellow 20 year old Maddie Ziegler last month, and after tonight’s performance - we might just see a new Flyweight champion next weekend if Millie Bobby Brown is not VERY careful when she faces off against Jenna in the upcoming PPV title fight.

Jenna hardly bothered by her opponent’s condition in the aftermath, the tiny actress all smiles as she hugs her team and circles the ring with her arms raised, blowing kisses to her fans who has certainly got their money’s worth tonight witnessing one of the biggest upsets (or is it…?) in recent memory, especially if you ask the Dollhouse team, who are having a hard time with their downed fighting, Lavigne still down and totally out of it as Ortega continues her celebration outside the ring.

“I told her she’s going to respect me after tonight….I mean, doesn’t seem like she’s getting up anytime soon….but after she does, I’m pretty sure she will.” Jenna tells reporters outside the ring, smirking at the camera before speaking right into it. “Hope you’re ready for me Millie. See you in a week.”

And with that, the victorious starlet begins her march towards the backstage, looking more than ready for her first title shot after leaving top Flyweight contender Avril Lavigne out cold in the ring, delivering perhaps one of Lavigne’s biggest defeats of her career at the hands of a 20 year old rookie, what a way to start the year for the GBS star! (and a terrible way for the aging Dollhouse star).

But one thing’s for sure - we can’t wait to see the big title bout showdown next weekend between the two young mega-talents ! Good luck Jenna!
