SIX DEBUTS IN SEARCH OF AN ASYLUM: A NEW BEGINNING

BEFORE:

"Double-edged sword for sure," says Sierra with a shake of the head. "Great to make my FCBA debut, but, obviously, not an easy assignment tonight. I'm up for it, though. I'm up for it."

"I like Sierra," Billie admits with a smile. "Sassy and busty and talented, kinda like me. But, when we get in there, it has to be business, and it will be."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'She's Kerosene' by The Interrupters, and here comes redheaded beauty Sierra McCormick!"

McCarthy: "I'm just glad this card is almost over. This has been farcicalical with all these no-win tomato cans!"

Tess: "Farci...what now?"

McCarthy: "Get a dictionary, Walmart! It's not MY job to expand your vocabutary!"

Cassie: "English teachers all over this great nation are having attacks of apoplexy..."

McCarthy: "Stop making up words!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Sierra into the ring and helped off with the robe to reveal a zebra striped number that's got the crowd's attention. And, that's 'You Should See Me In A Crown' you hear behind us, and here comes the singer of that tune, 'Buxom' Billie Eilish!""

Cassie: "Billie another girl who did a lot of different things last year, some flyweight, some bantamweight, and some JMD, which is where we find her again tonight..."

Tess: "And, if I know Wiz, beach work is coming..."

Cassie: "Right as usual, BFF..."

O'Dell: "Billie into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve, and the crowd loving the Buxom one in that emerald number she likes. Ladies about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Billie. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Yet another tomato can. Eilish."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "There's the bell and McCormick putting the 'J' in JMD right away. She steps right to and gets into Billie's rack, and Eilish is quickly on the defensive here! Redhead digging to body and jug, going back upstairs, forcing Eilish to back and cover. Sierra's got it GOING, Mac..."

McCarthy: "Kid clearly saw something in the video sessions..."

Cassie: "OR, she's just going for it, considering she's a heavy underdog..."

O'Dell: "Either way, she's taken firm control of this thing and the brunette's on the back foot. Billie usually aggressive and a fast starter, and we're seeing exactly the opposite here. It's all Sierra all the time, as she's keeping the younger woman on the defensive with a TON of aggression..."

Tess: "And, most importantly, EFFECTIVE aggression..."

O'Dell: "We're down under twenty seconds in what's been an absolutely GREAT round for McCormick. Sierra working upstairs more now. Billie continuing to back and cover. Final seconds tick away, and there's the bell. First FCBA round of McCormick's career, and she's pitched a shutout to take the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second round underway and McCormick still pressing forward. Billie giving ground, jabbing back some here, staying on the defensive. Not sure what's up here, ladies, but this is not the Billie Eilish we're used to seeing. No aggression from the brunette at all here..."

Cassie: "Sometimes, when you're the favorite and a girl comes at you like this, you're thinking 'don't get caught', so you try to manage..."

O'Dell: "And, that could well be what's happening now. But, Billie's not getting very much done, even in counter. She's landing a bit more than she did in the first, but there's no question McCormick's in control, getting much the better of things for the second round in a row..."

Tess: "And, Neve's doing a slow burn in that corner..."

O'Dell: "We're coming down the stretch in the second. Redhead is making quite the debut in the FCBA, taking the fight to a girl who's been one of the top young prospects in the organization since she first stepped into the ring. Good combination, McCormick and there's the bell. Sierra. Wide."

McCarthy: "And, the tomato can has the 20-18 lead."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "We start the third with more aggression from Eilish, and I'm not surprised after the tanning her hide got from Neve Campbell between rounds. We certainly can't repeat, nor could we air what Campbell had to say, but let's summarize by telling you that Neve was NOT happy with those first two rounds..."

Cassie: "And, she let Billie know that in no uncertain terms..."

O'Dell: "Result is that there's a WHOLE lot of banging going on, as redhead and brunette are in the phone booth trading shots to head, body, and rack. And, while Sierra's still getting plenty of work done, the brunette is matching her shot for shot right now, as both ladies sit down on everything..."

McCarthy: "McCormick kid needs to keep after her."

O'Dell: "That's what she's doing, but, this time, Billie's not going to give ground. And, the result is quite the firefight, a three-minute firefight, because, as the final seconds tick away, nobody's taking a step back. There's the bell. Close. But, McCormick will get the points again."

Tess: "And, Sierra's built a big lead at 30-27."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth begins the way the third ended. Ladies right back to work inside, banging away solid to head, body, jug and EILISH ROCKS MCCORMICK! Billie BLASTS Sierra with a right hook and the redhead is all wobbly-butt! Brunette all in, driving Sierra back into the ropes..."

Tess: "LOTS of time left in this round..."

O'Dell: "And, it may seem like an eternity for Sierra, because Billie's calling in artillery strikes. She's going head, body, rack, thumping away with both hands to every legal inch of the redhead. Referee looking in closely. Sierra in the high guard, elbows tight, trying to protect the rack..."

McCarthy: "Ref needs to watch those LOW BLOWS..."

O'Dell: "Everything perfectly legal, but all are also perfectly NASTY. Billie committing on everything, punishing her rival to body and rack, all while looking for the 'off' button upstairs. Just ten seconds to go. GOOD right hand, Eilish, and that wobbled Sierra at the bell. Billie. Wide."

Cassie: "But, McCormick still leads by a pair, 39-37."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Into the fifth now and Billie working forward behind that left hand. She's slowly walking Sierra down. McCormick clearly still buzzed, giving ground, playing for time as she tries to get those legs back under her. Eilish doesn't plan to GIVE her that time, staying on her with hard shot to head, body, rack..."

Cassie: "And, those short hooks to the jugs are going to add up..."

O'Dell: "Definitely plenty of wincing from the redhead when those land. Meanwhile, Eilish putting together combinations upstairs. She's staying very sound, setting up punches, using the jab, moving the feet, not just winging away. But the brunette's getting a TON of work done..."

McCarthy: "McCormick just needs to ride this out."

O'Dell: "No question that's what she's trying to do as we roll into the final fifteen seconds. GOOD right hand from Eilish and that shook Sierra. McCormick clinching now, and Billie going right to the body, hooking away with both hands right to the bell. No doubt about this one. Shutout, Eilish."

Tess: "And, Sierra's lead is down to one, 48-47 at the half."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Eilish right back after Sierra as we start the sixth. Again, she's coming forward behind that left, backing up the older woman with hard right hands. Redhead trying to hold canvas some now, fire back in counter, but she's unable to stop the brunette's offensive for the moment..."

Tess: "Eilish REALLY aggressive now. Not sure WHO that was in the first two rounds..."

O'Dell: "No doubt this is a lot closer to the Billie we've grown used to seeing. GOOD right from Eilish and THAT shook McCormick! Sierra covering up. Billie letting the hands go, driving her backward, BOOMING right hook into the left jug and Sierra's FROZEN, straight right hand and DOWN GOES MCCORMICK!"

Cassie (singing): "Turn out the liiiigggghhhhtttssss. The party's ohhhhverrrrrr..."

O'Dell: "Billie to a neutral corner. Sierra down on her back and not moving at ALL. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. This is a formality. Six. Seven. Eight. Still no movement. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! And your winner by KO6 in EMPHATIC fashion is 'Buxom' Billie Eilish!"

McCarthy: "Lucky. That's all. Just lucky!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore..."

Tess: "I have our winner, Billie Eilish, and, Billie, this was not a good start for you tonight..."

Billie (shaking her head): "Yeah, she got after me, and I needed to bang back, but I kinda thought, you know, rookie, early flurry, she'll slow down and then I can get into it. But, she didn't slow down, and pretty soon I've given two rounds away..."

Tess (smiling): "Your corner wasn't happy about that..."

Billie (laughing): "Not in the slightest. I was told to get a certain portion of my anatomy in gear, so, that's what I did, and, when I got going, well. She wasn't standing up to me, you know?"
