BEFORE:

"Taylor is talented, certainly," says Solveig with a nod. "But, she has been lucky to get so many opportunities. Well. I'M gettin a big chance tonight, and I'll show everyone what I can do with it."

"What SHE'S going to do," says a hard-eyed Taylor, "Is suck sand at my feet."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and the four-sided giant screen lowered over the arena, which means Asylum Beach, with plenty of patio heaters and fire pits functioning, is about to get some use. And, that's 'Angel of Death' by Slayer you hear, and onto the sand walks the gorgeous Danish beauty Solveig Mork Hansen!"

McCarthy: "You know, I used to love that Mork from Orkin. I think they missed out not showing him going out on pest control calls..."

Cassie: "I'm not even sure where to start here, BFF..."

McCarthy: "And, that Mindy was overrated. I'm WAAAAAYYYY hotter than HER!"

Tess: "You know, if I didn't know better, I'd think Fellini was directing this..."

O'Dell: "Hansen between the ropes and helped off with the robe to reveal a navy blue number that has the crowd's attention. And, that's 'Natural' by Imagine Dragons booming through the arena, and here comes 'The Face', Taylor Hill!"

McCarthy: "OVERRATED TOOTHPICK!"

Cassie: "Hill making a push at welter right now, along with her work at light and the beach. And, she's checking all three boxes with Hansen."

O'Dell: "Taylor between the ropes and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. Crowd showing appreciation for Ms. Hill in that azure number she likes. And, the ladies are about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Taylor. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Talentless TOOTHPICK! MORK!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "And, we're underway with Hansen wasting NO time coming forward behind that long jab of hers. She's aggressively after the American, backing Taylor up with heavy shot in the early going. GOOD right hand by Solveig there. She's ABSOLUTELY brining the physical in this one..."

Cassie: "No surprise to anyone who saw her bout against Blake Lively."

O'Dell: "Definitely not. Hansen has welter power and she's keen to use it. Hill giving ground here, being backed across the sand, taking a lot more punishment that she's able to give out, at least at the moment. ANOTHER good right hand by Hansen. Danish beauty having her way right now..."

McCarthy: "Because Hill is a TALENTLESS TOOTHPICK!"

O'Dell: "We're into the final fifteen seconds of what's been an excellent first round for Solveig. Hill on the back foot, where Hansen's been keeping her since the early going. Final seconds tick away and there's the bell. And, there's no doubt about this one. Hansen. Wide."

Tess: "And, Solveig takes the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Hill quickly adjusting here. She's getting that long left jab in Solveig's face, following on with right hands, stopping the Danish beauty from coming forward. Hansen trying to press, but Taylor simply not having it. She's holding her rival with that left hand beautifully..."

Tess: "This is good stuff from Hill..."

O'Dell: "Definitely is. Taylor's shown many times how effective she is boxing from range, and she's ENFORCING those terms right now with the left jab. She's not letting Hansen get forward or get off, and we've seen a complete 180 from the first round, as Taylor is now in control..."

McCarthy: "Hansen just needs to keep after her. The toothpick will BREAK!"

O'Dell: "Not happening in this round, it doesn't appear, as we're down to the final seconds, and Hill is in control just as she has been throughout. GOOD right from Taylor there! That backed Solveig up for the first time and now Hill coming forward across the sand for a SOLID combination at the bell. No doubt again. Taylor."

Cassie: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third underway. Hill kickin' up sand as she moves the feet, head, hands, working the jab to keep Solveig at bay. Hansen getting more aggressive, taking some hard shot but she's determined to get physical here, no matter what the cost of same may be..."

Cassie: "HAS to. She is NOT going to outbox Hill."

O'Dell: "GOOD right hand from Taylor and a BETTER ONE FROM SOLVEIG! Hansen hurt hill and DROPS HER WITH A STRAIGHT RIGHT! Oh, what a shot from Hansen and Hill splashes down in the sand after two absolutely BRUTAL right hands from the Dane!"

McCarthy: "SAY GOODNIGHT, TOOTHPICK!"

O'Dell: "Solveig to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Hill to her belly at six. Seven. Pushes to hands and knees. Eight. Nine...She beats it! Taylor to her feet at nine and will take the mandatory. And the ref waves on Solveig! Hansen ALL IN, driving Hill across the beach and trapping her on the ropes, working her over to head and body. Taylor hanging on as the ref looks in...and there's the bell. Huge 10-8 round for Hansen!"

Tess: "And, she grabs the 29-27 lead."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Solveig not worrying about that two-point lead as we start the fourth. She's looking to finish and do it right now. Hill looking like Rommel after El Alamein, retreating across the sand as Hansen gives chase, working that long left jab and following with NASTY right hands..."

McCarthy: "Toothpick is DONE! If that ref wasn't bought and paid for, he'd have stopped this already!"

O'Dell: "Hansen trying to handle that on her own. She's landing big shot, keeping Taylor going backward. Hill managing, playing for time, just trying to get to the bell. Solveig determined not to let her, lands a solid combination that backs Taylor up again. Danish beauty looking for the 'off' switch..."

Tess: "But hasn't found it yet."

O'Dell: "She has not, and Hill firing back in counter more often now. She's still on the defensive, but it looks as if the legs are back under her. Hansen another solid combination and Taylor lands a right hand counter. Final seconds ticking off in the fourth and there's the bell. Hansen. Wide."

Cassie: "And, Solveig now leads by three, 39-36."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Sand flying right now as Solveig looks to push forward and Taylor counters with foot movement and that left jab. Hill making herself hard to line up, all while working the jab for space. Front Streeter wants to box at range, while the Dane is determined to come forward and get physical..."

Cassie: "And, as we've seen, it's all about terms in this one."

O'Dell: "No doubt about it. Whichever girl has been enable to enforce hers has come out on top, and, right now, for the first time, we're seeing both fighters get some but not all of what they want. Result is the first two-way round of the bout, with Taylor and Solveig scoring in spots, but no one taking control."

McCarthy: "Hansen just has to keep after the toothpick. She'll BREAK!"

O'Dell: "We are coming down the stretch in the fifth, and it remains close. Sharp exchange there, with both fighters landing some solid shot. ANOTHER flurry by Hill and that backed Hansen up a step at the bell. Not a lot in it, but Taylor's going to grab the points in this one."

Tess: "But Hansen still leads 48-46 at the half."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Sixth underway and HANSEN IS STEPPIN' IN FENCE POST HOLES! Oh, what a one-two by Taylor right off the bell and she CAUGHT Solveig with that straight right! Hansen stumbling backward across the sand and Hill is ALL IN HERE, battering her back against the cables..."

McCarthy: "That hometown ref had better not jump in!"

O'Dell: "Ref is looking closely as the American calls in the artillery strikes. She's hammering away with both hands, buffeting the Dane's head around as Solveig hangs on in the tight earmuff. To the body goes Taylor, hooking ribs and tummy, looking to bring the guard down..."

Tess: "Hansen clinching now."

O'Dell: "Smart stuff from Solveig, who's on rubber legs but still competing hard. Ten seconds to go in the stanza. Taylor shoves Hansen off lands a couple of shots to the head and there's the bell. Shutout for Taylor Hill in the sixth, but, as she strides across the sand to her corner, she may well have let a big opportunity slip away."

Cassie: "And, Hansen still has the lead 57-56."

ROUND SEVEN:

O'Dell: "Hill forward now as she's looking to finish here. Taylor banging out that long, heavy left jab, following on with rights, backing the Dane resolutely across the sand. Hansen firing back in spots, looks to have shaken at least some of the damage from last round..."

Cassie: "Playing for time."

O'Dell: "Definitely is. If she can get out of this round, we'll definitely still have a fight on our hands. GOOD right from Taylor there. Backed Solveig up a step and DOWN GOES HANSEN! Oh, a BLISTERING combination from the American and Solveig is blown to her back in the sand!"

McCarthy: "Get UP, you bum! Get UP!"

O'Dell: "Taylor to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Solveig sitting up at six. Seven. Getting to her feet and CRASHING BACK TO THE SAND FACE FIRST! Eight. Nine. TEN! The count passes Hansen by and it's OVER and your winner by KO7 is 'The Face' Taylor Hill!"

Tess: "Big win for Taylor. Big win."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go across the street to Cassie Scerbo!"

Cassie: "I have our winner, Taylor Hill, and, Taylor, she wanted to get physical in there..."

Taylor (nodding): "That's what she's about. She's rangy and she can hit. Caught me a good one in the third. But, no panic. Knew I'd get back in it and get her, and that's exactly what I did."

Cassie: "You're doing light, welter, and beach right now. Any preferences?"

Taylor (smiling): "Not really. I'm OK with anything that gets me closer to getting some gold back."
