BEFORE:

"I've been waiting a long time to get another FCBA fight," says a hard-eyed Suzy. "Well. Tonight is the night. And, I'm going to EARN more fights by beating the former champion!"

"She absolutely deserves more fights in the FCBA," says Lili with a smile. "But, the only one getting a beating tonight is Suzy."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Dream High' you hear behind us, and here comes the singer of that tune, South Korean beauty Suzy Bae!"

McCarthy: "South Korea now. Next he's going to bring in a tomato can from Mars!"

Cassie: "I think I saw that on the late show one night years ago...'Tomato Cans From Mars'..."

Tess: "If it's as low-budget as it sounds, Mac was probably IN it..."

McCarthy: "YOU...I...I WILL HAVE YOU KNOW...SHUT UP, WALMART!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys, and drink in the lovely Ms. Bae as she climbs into the ring and is helped off with the robe to reveal an ivory number that's got the crowd going. And, that's 'What I've Done' by Linkin Park hammering through the arena, and that can only mean that the former Unified Bantamweight Champion, 'Diamond' Lili Reinhart is headed to ringside!"

Tess: "And, I still say Reinhart is the best fighter in the stable."

Cassie: "She certainly had quite a 2022, and she's looking for another big year in 2023."

O'Dell: "Lili into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing that white number she likes, and the crowd appreciates it as always. Ladies about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Lili. Mac?"

McCarthy: "TOMATO CAN! Reinhart!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Unanimous again. Let's see if the ladies are right. And, look at this! Suzy stepping right to Lili here and backing up the former bantamweight champion with heavy shot! Not sure anyone would have seen THIS coming. Absolutely NO feeling out from the Korean beauty AT ALL..."

Cassie: "Part of this may be a 'what have I got to lose' kind of thing, but, having seen Bae's previous FCBA fight, you know that's not ALL of it..."

O'Dell: "No doubt, Suzy has a history of aggression at all fight levels, but, still, you'd think she might be a little less 'damn the torpedoes' against a talent like Reinhart, but, not the case at the moment, and, also for the moment, it's working. The brunette has the blonde on the back foot."

McCarthy: "And, the key is going to be KEEPING her there."

O'Dell: "No doubt about THAT, Mac. We're down under 20 seconds in the first, and it looks like she's going to manage it for the rest of THIS round at least. Good combination, Suzy and there's the bell. There will be no doubt about this one on the scorecards. Bae and wide."

Tess: "And, Suzy takes the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Bae stepping to, sitting down on punches and now Reinhart standing ground and banging with and HERE WE GO! Firefight in the middle of the ring and the crowd is LOVING this! Both blonde and brunette letting hands go and landing some serious SHOTS right here..."

McCarthy: "Sometimes you have to be willing to trade to slow a girl down."

O'Dell: "And, that's exactly what's going on here. Ladies REALLY landing some solid leather at the moment. Nobody hurt, but both girls feeling it for sure. Result, though, is that Reinhart's not on the defensive anymore and we're getting a two-way round in the second."

Tess: "And, if you're wondering if Bae can take a punch, the answer is 'yes', because she's TAKEN some..."

O'Dell: "Definitely has. Clock running down in the second round. Not a lot in it after an action-packed two-and-a-half minutes plus. GOOD right from Suzy and there's a rejoinder from the blonde that backs Bae up a step. BELL! And the ref leaps between the fighters. Close. Reinhart."

Cassie: "And that evens things up at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Into the third and Bae right forward again. And SHE RINGS LILI'S BELL! A good right cross from Suzy and Reinhart is buzzed! And now the brunette going all in to try to finish this thing! She's winging away with both hands, backing the blonde up with solid flurries of fire..."

Cassie: "Going to push all the chips into the middle here..."

O'Dell: "And, why not? Brunette just REEFING leather at Lili, punishing her upstairs and even hooking a little body here and there. Reinhart managing pretty well, staying off the ropes, firing back here and there, but it's Bae who's piling up the points and punishment right now."

McCarthy: "Give the kid credit. She's not getting sloppy here, but she's staying on her..."

O'Dell: "And, she's scoring in bunches. But, Reinhart getting the legs all the way back under her now and starting to fire back a bit. Going to be way too late to make a difference in this round, but the blonde is going to ride the storm out and live to fight another day. There's the bell. Suzy. Wide."

Tess: "And, Bae goes back into the lead 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Bae stepping to, but now SUZY the one backing up as Reinhart lands a hard combination followed by another! Blonde all of a sudden on a mission here. She's taking the fight to the brunette in every way possible right now, and she's got Suzy flustered in the extreme..."

Tess: "I've said before that Reinhart's the best fighter in this stable. She was going to have an answer..."

O'Dell: "And, the one we're seeing is pretty emphatic. Bae being backed up again and again now. Korean beauty not able to get off other than the odd counter. Instead, Lili's taken over this fight and she's punishing the brunette to both head and body while Bae is now the one trying to ride out the storm."

McCarthy: "Kid has to answer at some point, but it doesn't have to be in this round."

O'Dell: "We're down under twenty seconds to go in what's been a dominant fourth round for the former champion. GOOD combination, Lili and Suzy's backed up again. Bae tying up now, trying to slow this down some. Ref breaks them, Reinhart another flurry and there's the bell. Lili. Wide."

Cassie: "And, we're even again, this time at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Reinhart in charge and looking to finish this now. 'Diamond' Lili stepping forward behind that left jab, walking Suzy down. Bae countering here and there, looking for a fighting retreat, but she IS retreating, and the blonde is determined to keep her going backward..."

Cassie: "Really good stuff from Lili here. She's dialed in now."

O'Dell: "Is, indeed, and we've seen this before from her. She's got everything working. Has the geometry down. And, now it's just a matter of setting up punches and looking for a big one and THERE IS IT! Right hook and Bae is wobbled. Quick flurry and DOWN GOES SUZY!"

Tess: "Not getting up from that, I don't think..."

O'Dell: "Bae noses in past Lili's left shoulder after a BLISTERING right hook. Reinhart immediately to a neutral corner. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. Suzy trying to push up to hands and knees. Six. Seven. Can't do it! Slumps back to the canvas! Eight. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! The Korean can't get off the canvas and it's OVER and your winner by KO5 is 'Diamond' Lili Reinhart!"

McCarthy: "Lucky punch!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Lili Reinhart, and, Lili, it seems like it took you a minute to figure her out and then you took her out of there..."

Lili: "Give credit to her. She's tough coming forward. Very aggressive. Comes at you from a lot of angles. So, I had to get her stopped and going backward. And, that's what I did."

Tess: "Last year, you won your first title. What's the plan for 2023?"

Lili (smiling): "Well. You get a taste of gold, you want MORE gold. So, that's the plan. More gold."
