Intro:
For the first time ever Josephine Skriver and Kelly Brook clash. Both are former BBU welterweight champions. Kelly Brook is a legend wanting to prove she is still a great fighter now. While Josephine is out to show that she hasn't lost a step since losing her title a few months ago against Romee Strijd.

Heading into the contest both women gave a few thoughts in the backstage area to the BBU reporter Kate Abdo. Who first got Josephine in her red dress and white heels to stop to speak to her. Josephine smiles with a nod as she shakes hands with Kate.

"Yeah so I can't believe I am sharing a ring with Kelly. I watched her box in the FCBA over a decade ago and would see her modelling photos. She is an amazing person, of course I have become one myself. This is going to be a lot of fun" says Josephine with real excitement.

Asked if there is still any hangover from losing her title to Romee. Josephine looks a little tense after she hears it. She admits "it hurt to lose my belt. I have taken time off and worked with Joan (Smalls) on her comeback to the ring has helped me. Still someday whether for the belt or not I'd love another go at Romee. I felt like it was only a few little mistakes that all added up to me losing the title." Kate thanks her for her time as Josephine smiles and walks off looking relaxed again.

Kelly meanwhile wears a figure hugging black dress with black heels. She hugs and kisses Kate's cheeks to greet her. Asked how she is feeling about this contest, Kelly answers "well I had a wonderful time with my family, now I get to come here and box Josephine. I have had worse boxing days." Winking at Kate.

"Josephine is a solid fighter and I watched keenly her title run. Problem for her is look at her and me, I am stronger then her, more experienced and a damn better fighter. I respect what she has done but it's time I show these young fighters that I am still one of the best." Kelly heads off after giving Kate a spank on her bum as she passes by with a giggle as Kate laughs and rubs her bum.

Fighting time! Out first comes Josephine with her coach Taryn Terrell behind her. Josephine taps her red gloves together as she looks a little nervous. Clearly needing this fight to shake any doubts she has after losing her title. She climbs into the ring wearing a red sports bra with gold trim, matching trunks and shoes, hair tied into a long braid. She tells Taryn that she is ready for this as they exchange a high five.

Kelly now struts down the aisle with her usual swagger. She has her coach Melinda Messenger to her right as both look confident. Kelly gets into the ring wearing a black sports bra with red trim, matching trunks and shoes, red gloves and her hair is tied into a braid too. She taps her cheeks to psyche herself up for battle.

The referee waves both women to the middle of the ring. Both lock eyes and Kelly tries to intimidate Josephine by pushing her body into hers, Josephine stands her ground and the referee needs to push them apart. It's a tense touch of gloves between them as not a lot of love here. Both women return to their corners ready to start 10 rounds of welterweight action.

Round 1:
Both women step out with jabs flashing. Kelly stepping in with single punches to the face and torso of her opponent to try to work her back. Josephine responding with straight punches into the forehead of Kelly to knock her head back.

A left hook catches Kelly around her eye to make her back off. Josephine lands a jab/straight into her face of the English fighter. Kelly finding herself having to fight back from near the ropes as Josephine looks to bully her back. Josephine sticking to fighting at range and moving back when Kelly tries to unleash a haymaker like right.

Under a minute to go and Brook answers back with a jab under the chin of her opponent opens her up to a right hook. Josephine moves back to the center of the ring. Both working away with straight shots till Josephine catches Kelly with an uppercut as she tries to step in closer. The round soon ends with Kelly covering up. Josephine nods over to Taryn as she walks back to her corner.

Round 2:
Back at it they go with Kelly stepping in more closer to work away. Josephine looking to hold her back as both women land stiff punches. Kelly catches Josephine with a straight under her chin to knock her back a step. Kelly drives back the taller woman to the ropes, working the body of Skriver till she is held onto.

They are split apart with both women looking keen to get back at each other. Josephine stabs in several straight punches to the face of Kelly as she seeks to keep her back. Kelly crouches under a straight and lands a right into the breadbasket of the Danish model.

Kelly crowds Josephine into a neutral corner. Whacking in hooks till she is pushed back. Josephine trying to fight her way off the ropes as thuds of leather on flesh ring out. The bell dings with Kelly stepping back to her corner looking relaxed. Josephine meanwhile takes a breath to keep cool.

Round 3:
Spearing in straight punches as they circle. Josephine slams in a right cross after stepping back when Kelly goes to her body. Kelly's head is knocked back and she eats a follow up jab/right hook combo. Josephine starting to outwork the former multiple weight champion. Being pressed around the outside part of the ring.

Kelly does come back with a few punches towards the chest and cheeks of Skriver. Josephine meanwhile is landing combos. She lands a left hook around the cheek of Kelly before following with a straight.

Josephine is making it hard for Kelly to fire back as she holds the center of the ring. Kelly landing her best shots to the body of Josephine to make her hiss. The round comes to a close with Josephine nodding to herself as she felt comfortable this round. Kelly used to these type of fights as she sits on her stool. Getting wiped down as Melinda is giving her some advice.

Round 4:
Josephine again starts off strong as she is landing stiff shots into the face of Kelly to mark it up. A little swelling is forming around the left eye of Brook. Who steps in with a jab to the lips of Josephine before landing a right cross to make the dane back up.

Second minute sees Josephine trying to keep the heat on. She is met with a straight on her chin to make her take a step back. OVERHAND LEFT LANDS FLUSH ON JOSEPHINE'S JAW TO MAKE HER TUMBLE OVER TO HER LEFT SIDE TO A LOUD CHEER!

Kelly walks over to the neutral corner with a grin as she holds both top ropes. 1....2...3....4... Josephine turns to her front. 5....6... Pushing to all fours with a shake of her head. 7....8... Getting up to her feet, Josephine bangs her gloves together before raising her fists up. The referee lets her fight on.

They exchange with Kelly just not able to land a big punch to follow the knockdown, Josephine boxing and moving to try to get out the round. The bell rings to allow Josephine a breath to shake off going down. Kelly on the other hand looks keen to get back out after the success she has had.

Round 5:
Kelly looking to keep the heat on Josephine, early on whacking away at her torso to try to push back the Dane. Josephine nudges her back with her left glove and lands a short right hook in reply. Both trying to grab hold of the fight by the scruff of the neck as they nudge and slug it out.

A left hook slashes across Kelly's right eye, making the page three legend whine out as she backs up a step. There's a trickle of blood coming down the cheek of Kelly as there's a small gash above her right eyebrow. Josephine lands a double jab against it to make Brook retreat back as Kelly doesn't know how bad it is, she can just feel the sting and feel the blood trickling.

Kelly is covering up more tightly as Josephine picks her off at range with straight punches. Josephine going to the chest of Kelly to try to open her up. Kelly lands a few solid punches back into the lips of Josephine when she is too open at times. The round comes to a close with Kelly getting the cut patched up by her corner crew. Josephine sits down with some redness around her body as this is a bruising encounter.

Round 6:
Both women push off their stools trading stiff shots. Josephine starts off the round well at range but Kelly barrels into her to press her onto the ropes. Working the body of Josephine before she is held onto. Kelly trying to make it uncomfortable for the taller woman by pressing her forehead into her chin. The referee has to push them apart.

They resume with Kelly keeping the pressure on as she keeps in close. Josephine finds herself backed to the ropes again, starting to hold and hit in frustration as the referee steps in again and warns Josephine to stick to the rules. Both fighters staring hard at each other as they desperately want to beat their opponent.

Less then thirty seconds to go, Kelly gets caught with a counter left across her face to make her whine. The cut opens a little more over her right eye as Josephine now peppers her face with a flurry of punches to make Kelly shell up. Kelly pinned down on the ropes. The bell dings with Josephine looking fired up as she marches over to her corner. Kelly has some swelling now around the right eye now to add to her worries.

Round 7:
Josephine is starting to catch Kelly more through her guard as Kelly looks to be struggling to land as accurately as she had done before. Josephine lands a left hook onto the ear of Kelly before landing an uppercut to make her stumbling backwards.

The heat is on Kelly now as she tries to fire back. Josephine feinting at times before hammering more punches through the mitts of Brook to her face. RIGHT HOOK TO THE EAR SENDS KELLY TUMBLING DOWN ONTO HER RIGHT SIDE!

Walking to the neutral corner, Josephine grabs the top ropes either side of her with eyes locked on Kelly. 1....2....3....4... Kelly groans as she rolls to her back with blood trickling down her cheek to the canvas. 5....6....7... Kelly covers her face with her right glove as she has Melinda yelling her to get up. 8....9....10 it's all over for Kelly! She is counted out!

Winner Josephine Skriver KO Round 7

After:
Josephine raises her arms into the air and yells "come on!" As she looks fired up. This was certainly a hard encounter that might have knocked her out of any worries she had after losing her title. Josephine heads back to her corner with a fist bump for her coach. Sitting down on her stools getting cleaned up.

While Kelly is getting checked over by Melinda. Helping Kelly to sit up so she can clean her face up. Kelly takes a deep breath as she looks fed up. Melinda telling her "you did brilliant love. Don't beat yourself up off this result." With Kelly not saying anything in reply.

Over to Kelly comes Josephine when Kelly is helped to her feet. They share a few respectful words before Kelly is helped out the ring. She seems more keen to get backstage and back into their locker room. Kelly did well in this fight and shouldn't be too disheartened considering she fought someone who was only recently the welterweight champion.

Josephine walks to the middle of the ring to get her left arm raised by the referee to a loud cheer. Josephine nods to the crowd her thanks for their support. She poses for the cameras with her white tapped fists raised up. Face marked up, along with her body to show that she hasn't had an easy night by any stretch.

Soon enough she steps out the ring with Taryn beside her. It will be interesting to see where she goes as Romee won't be giving her a rematch anytime soon. So she has to keep her name in the public eye. Maybe a focus on the FCBA as Joan takes the spotlight in the BBU for the stable?
