BEFORE: You don't bet against Paris Hilton's management skills so when the decision was made to shelve Demi Lovato for performance reasons it was curious to hear Hailee Steinfeld's name as the designated replacement. The California-based actress found some success after signing with Lookout! Boxing in April but stable expectations hoover around winning championship belts and most pundits - albeit led by BLONDE! Magazine - believe Hailee still lacks something to take the division by storm even after joining one of the most successful organizations in the league.
No such dilemma for Lucy Pinder who keeps getting work in her late 30s and remains a glamour model legend over in the old country. She's more than pleased to fulfill the 'fan request' and vows to give Steinfeld more than she can handle tonight!

Round 1:
Hailee fires the early shots and keeps Lucy glued to the spot while testing her guard; she splits the mitts and bounces into her face which allows her to extend the aggressive drive whereas Lucy struggles to embrace this approach since she's more used to jug muggin' rules over the years. However most punches will be aimed upstairs tonight and Steinfeld doesn't give her any breather to start the fight bouncing her around the ring until she clobbers her onto the ropes where she switches low to punish the exposed midsection. Pinder applies the clinching brakes and tries to muscle the younger brunette around but Hailee blasts a left cross on the jaw to sink the glamour model into spasms and duly cleans her up in the closing seconds raising plenty of noise in the audience while doing so!
Rounds 2 & 3:
Lucy steps up to deliver the body assault that catches Hailee square in the breasts down the stretch and the furious jabbing haze allows the British tourist to gain a clear performance edge once she realizes that Steinfeld won't overrun her in pure slugging fashion. Both women trade heavy punches in the center of the ring where Lucy manages to keep the gut-checking pressure and force the younger brunette to adjust her stance. Hailee's aerial charge loses its precision and she wobbles into a couple of vicious uppercuts before bailing out from close range. Pinder chases her around but fails to add to the damage factor and she stays on top of the suddenly confused American in the third where more uppercuts crash into her breasts. Ugh! Hailee looks uncomfortable while leaking all these body- and classic jug muggin' shots and seeks a clinching respite herself which makes Paris Hilton in the VIP lounge visibly upset. Hailee can't shake the British girl off and gets trapped on the turnbuckle late on where she suffers a major cut across the nasal ridge that leaves her fuming at coach Julie Benz during the interval.
Rounds 4 & 5:
Hailee comes back to smash a hooking combo into Lucy's face to open the fourth and she beats her to the punch for majority of the round from there on. Pinder tries to stay in the slugging range and refuses to back off alas her head-hunting efforts don't bring her much success and she gets outworked by the numbers before Steinfeld bullies her back to the ropes and shuts down behind a desperate earmuff. Another jabbing reload in the fifth where Hailee gains more confidence punching lumps all over Lucy's face and suddenly things turn bleak for the Hampshire tourist who wobbles onto her heels with a loud whimper and escapes a looming knockdown at the last second, Hailee misfires on the put away and blows a fuse thereafter throwing several chaotic punches instead of going for that one methodical series to drop a visibly ailing opponent. Woof. There's a reason why Hailee isn't quite ready for prime time just yet however...
Round 6:
...she gets the job done on the rebound when she catches Lucy with a brutal heater on the jaw early in the sixth and ficks a one-two combo on each temple to sink the older brunette into more spasms. Pinder tries to clinch the actress but she's too slow to make her move and Hailee SMOKES her with a brutal left hook on the ear moments later. DOWN GOES LUCY!!! Another noisy burst from the audience as the pride of Page Three hits the deck with a loud thump while Hailee makes some gestures aimed at Paris Hilton in the lounge. Most pundits think Lucy has been smoked into complete oblivion but she makes a late comeback against the odds even though she still appears to be shaken & stirred when the referee asks her if she's good to go. She is... but then she's not... a quick stumble against the ropes allows Hailee to pummel her into a standstill and now the young American is driving for the bumpers!!! Oh, hello!!! Lucy cries out in pain albeit her life bar has been drained before and the ref STEPS IN to halt the beating which still makes the winner sound off in objection. It doesn't matter. TKO6 Hailee Steinfeld!!!
AFTER: Hailee finally comes up with a big smile but admits she thought the British veteran will go down quicker - yet it was another of Steinfeld's fights that only ended after half-distance. There's still work to be done and perhaps the Tarzana native lacks that raw power supply but you can win a lot of these fights with sheer durability as well. Some experts compare Hailee's skillset to former Lookout! member Minka Kelly and Hailee would be well placed if she could mirror the southpaw's career numbers - but there's a long way to go!
