BEFORE

As usual Theron is in her dressing room and she is going to watch Imogen comments on TV. Charlize doesn’t appear at the podium anymore. Imogen appears on the screen “A lot of people don’t think I should be taking on my opponent who is a legend. She is three inches taller than me, but I am sick and tired of those who say that’s too big of a difference. Tonight I am going to prove it. I saw Charlize’s bout against Wilson. She took a terrible beating and was knocked out cold. I thought if any fighter can do that to her, so can I. She didn’t choose me, I chose her. To make sure I got this bout, I told her I just wanted to finish what Wilson had left which wasn’t much. She got irritated and took the offer for a fight ten days after the Wilson fight. There is no way she can recover and train in that time after the beating she took. Tonight I will walk out with her being carried behind me” In her dressing room Charlize looks at her corner crew “Well at least she’s honest.That’s what happened in the phone call. THE FIGHT
Imogen is in the ring. She’s wearing a blue bikini with black gloves and boots. Charlize slowly comes down in aisle. She climbs in the ring and drops her usual black robe. She slowly walks around the ring to the cheers of her supporters who are in the minority. It’s now standard. People don’t come to see Charlize win, they come to see her lose. Her actions have irritated Imogen. The referee calls them to the center of the ring and gives instructions which Charlize knows by heart. The two touch gloves and return

Round 1. They meet in the center of the ring. Charlize unleashes her usual three quick right hand jabs. They all miss, going over Imogen’s head and giving her the opportunity to get inside. She goes to work on the blonde’s midsection landing punch after punch into Theron torso. She’s driving Theron back to the ropes. Charlize is leaning back on the ropes, but she can’t stop Imogen working on her body because Imogen is in so close that her head is touching one of Theron’s shoulders. The accumulation of punches is starting to tell as Charlize’s legs give a tremble. Finally Charlize clamp her gloves on Imogen’s ears and pushes her away. Charlize sees the referee wiggles his finger at her, but she doesn’t care she is moving a little slowly.She thinks she is free of Imogen’s fists but a right Charlize uppercut buckles her legs.Charlize doesn’t punch back. She just moves to stay away for the rest of the round. In her corner Upton greets her with “What’s going on. You let a midget make you look like a beginner”

Round 2. Charlize is simply not going to repeat the first round. Thomas is coming in in a low profile to get back under Theron’s guard. She doesn’t make it as a Theron right hook lands on target and she stumbles away. Charlize pursues, but Thomas is now close to the ropes and goes into a shell with her gloves protecting her head while crouch makes punching into the body difficult. Theron has to punch down which cuts down her power with punches landing are landing on Imogen’s back or shoulders.Charlize isn’t hurting her but is piling on the. points. Theron doesn’t want points. She wants Thomas on the canvas. Charlize is not going to punch herself out so she slowly picks out the spots. The punches are getting through and Imogen starts sliding along the ropes to avoid punishment. It isn’t working. Finally, she surprises Theron by coming out of the crouch with a right hook that sends the blonde back on her heels. Thomas is back in the center of the ring as the round ends.

Round 3. Thomas knows she has to go back to the body and take Theron’s legs out to win and she is determined to do so. She moves quicker than Theron, meets her just a little on Theron’s side of center with a right to the solar plexus. She hears breath escape from Charlize’s mouth and she come up with a new target. She digs a couple hooks into Theron bra. She sees Therons body do a tremble and hears a groan of pain. Her feeling of success is short lived when a Theron hook raises her head up to receive an overhand right to her forehead. Thomas isn’t going to take it. She pounds two more into the blondes bra and then two more. She knows she hurt Charlize. What the doesn’t realize is that she has awakened the killer instinct in Theron. The round ends Thomas’s corner is encouraged. In Theron’s corner Upton says not a word. She can see Charlize is seething’

Round 4. Thomas now knows how she can easily bring Theron’s gloves down and expose her chin. She moves quickly from her corner and start to go for Theron’s chest. Charlize, unfortunately was expecting it and stops Imogen in her tracks with an over hand right to her forehead. Imogen staggers back and Theron is on her with a pair to the body and a left to the chin Charlize goes for a little payback with pair of uppercuts to Thomas’s chest. Charlize lands a hook to the chin and steps back as Imogen wallows
forward and right into a left hook that drops her on the canvas on her back. Charlize goes to a corner as the count begins. It becomes apparent that Thomas is going to beat the count. She is on her feet at nine. Charlize knows Imogen can’t take much more. She meets the groggy brunette in the center of the ring and lands one punch after another until she has Imogen on the ropes. A right hooks causes Thomas to sag to the middle rope. A right cross has Thomas’s glove handing by her side. She is helpless. The referee steps in and waives Charlize way and signals Thomas’s corner to help her

Charlize is at the press table. She’s alone. Charlize comments,” this is unusual. Usually it me who is not at the table. She doesn’t want to come because she thinks she is too beat up to meet the press. Trust me, I know the feeling.
