Before:
It’s a battle of models as the newest welterweight addition at Fates takes on Lindsay Ellingson. Lindsay has had her fair share of matches but never has been able to land herself with a stable. Mork still getting accustomed to Fates Boxing and after the wild success of stablemate model Emily DiDonato the FCBA wonders if Solveig can repeat her stablemate’s successes.
The two women are brought into the press conference and they trade verbal barbs.
“Solveig is a wannabe. She is never going to be as good of a model as me.” Lindsay says.
“This isn’t about modeling this is about boxing. You were just a pretty face anyways.” Solveig says back.
The two women glare at each other before they are escorted out the doors.
Solveig is the first girl to make her way to the ring and the brunette wears a black sports bra and matching trunks with white gloves. The Fates girl shadowboxes waiting for her opponent. Lindsay steps out moments later and the blonde is wearing a blue sports bra and spandex bottoms and the 39 year old still is in stunning shape. The blonde gets into the brunette’s face and the two women are separated as the ref calls for the bell.
Round 1:
The two models charge out of their corners and Lindsay uses her reach to jab at Solveig but the younger girl blocks the punches and uses her strength to pound a right into Lindsay’s toned midriff. Ellingson grunts and the blonde clinches before the brunette can land more blows. Mork tries to wriggle free of the blonde’s clinch but she can’t and the referee steps in to separate the two women. The round continues and Lindsay goes to her jab but Solveig dodges the blows and smacks Lindsay in her chest. Mork pounces forward and digs a left into Ellingson’s ribs before pounding a right into her gloves to knock her foe back. Blonde girl retreating but staying on her feet and the older model fights back with a right into the younger girl’s body. Mork takes the punch and knocks Ellingson back with a right torso shot and the bell rings.
Round 2:
Ellingson may be 39 but the blonde still is in model shape and her fitness is obvious and she uses her long legs to charge out of her corner and the blonde connects with a jab to Mork’s jaw to start the round. Lindsay follows up with a left into Solveig’s chest and the younger model snarls at the older girl. Solveig with a response into Lindsay’s midriff but the blonde’s toned body takes the blow and she connects with another punch to the bustier girl’s face. Mork takes a half step back and Ellingson is going to her foe’s body and turning up the tempo. Lindsay may not have the power Solveig does but the blonde is quicker and she shows it with a blistering combination of punches. The bell rings and Lindsay wins the round on points.
Round 3:
Lindsay picking up where she left off and the blonde model uses her reach to work Solveig back into the ropes with precise jabs at her head. Brunette girl’s nose leaking blood and the blonde smiles. Solveig covering her head and Lindsay works on the younger model’s guard. Solveig protecting her head from Lindsay’s punches and the brunette finds her counterpunches into Lindsay’s face. Ellingson now the girl knocked back but the blonde uses her long legs to retreat from Mork and the two girls circle. Lindsay jabbing and landing blows but Solveig is finding her counters and the brunette tags Lindsay’s midriff in the final seconds of the round and the blonde’s legs give a small shimmy at the bell.
Round 4:
Ellingson leaves her corner more slowly to start the fourth and Mork takes notice and the brunette feints high. Lindsay protects her head and Solveig plunges leather into the older model’s midriff. Lindsay gasps in pain and Solveig shows off her power as she slugs the slender model into the ropes. Mork working her right into Lindsay’s midriff and ribs and the blonde wraps her arms around the bustier girl to get the ref’s break. Ellingson’s torso starting to turn red from the punches after the break and Mork focuses on her opponent’s body. Ellingson’s movements less fluid and the blonde girl is struggling. Mork with a left haymaker that bounces off Ellingson’s gloves and she follows up with a right but nobody is home and the American girl sticks the dane with a straight to her chin to end the round.
Round 5:
Mork determined to end the fight go for the knockout blow and she is sending haymaker at Ellingson’s head. Ellingson dodging the blows and she connects with a jab to Mork’s mouth and catches the younger model by surprise. Solveig stunned and Lindsay connects with a left into her nose that sends her reeling. Solveig with her gloves up and blocking Lindsay’s blows but the blonde shifts her focus to the younger girl’s body and drives lefts and rights into the brunette’s torso. Solveig grimacing and giving up ground before she takes two large steps back for separation. Lindsay chases after the younger model and shoots out a haymaker that skims off the brunette’s ear and the Danish girl drives a left into the American’s midriff and Lindsay is hurt! Blonde girl staggering backward and bent over as the bell rings and Solveig may have her opening in the sixth.
Round 6:
Lindsay in trouble as she exits her corner and the blonde has her guard lower than usual to protect her vulnerable midriff. Solveig charges forward and sends a blow at her foe’s torso and the blonde instinctively moves her gloves lower. Solveig’s blow crushes Lindsay’s guard and the blonde staggers back and the brunette pounces with a right into her foe’s face. Ellingson stunned and on comes Mork! Lindsay now reeling and Solveig finding her foe’s tender body and Lindsay doubles over as Solveig finds her solar plexus. The brunette snaps the blonde back upright and the older model is wobbly as the younger girl lines up a pair of left right hooks that drop the blonde to the canvas. Ellingson crawling towards the ropes but the ref’s count is too quick for her. Your winner by KO6 Solveig Mork Hansen!
After:
Mork raises her arms in victory and the brunette steps over to Ellingson. The blonde girl looks up as the shadow of the younger model appears in front of her and turns around to see the brunette towering over her. Ellingson never able to win when it matters and her eyes fill with tears again as Mork plants herself on Ellingson’s stomach. The blonde girl stares weakly back into the brunette’s eyes as the brunette bends over and whispers in the older girl’s ear.
“You’re nothing but a has been” Solveig coos. “You’re not even worth my time to jug out but you’ll always be remembered as one of my first victories at Fates. Nothing else.” |
