BEFORE: Polish actress Julia Wieniawa enjoyed a successful debut back in November when she knocked Ola Jordan out in five rounds and while she has plans to set up a fight versus Lily-Rose Depp in the foreseeable future, her management wants her to take care of Nadine Coyle first. Or shall we say the former bantamweight champion Dorota 'Doda' Rabczewska is responsible for this particular match-making and Nadine has agreed to the challenge.
Julia Wieniawa wears a violet crop top, jeans shorts & white gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a braid. Nadine Coyle wears a red crop top, jeans shorts & black gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a custom ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.
Round 1:
Nadine wants to prove she's not exactly a sacrificial lamb out there but she finds the newcomer extremely aggressive to start the fight which leads into some heavy punches landing straight into her face from the opening minute. A couple of big hooks smack the Irish singer on the nose and she struggles to find a proper response which in turn allows Julia to land even more leather on the follow through. Julia doesn't hold back in her delivery and has Doda supporting her in the corner while the slugging drive leaves Coyle exposed until she gets pounded back to the ropes where she slumps behind a desperate earmuff. Ugh! Wieniawa tries to connect with a slam dunk combo but gets carried away too much and Nadine manages to clinch her into safety at the last moment before things get really ugly for her.
Round 2:
More aggression from the Polish actress who still uses Nadine's face as target practice and the Irish defense simply isn't there to stop the early beating. Coyle suffers a visible cut under the left eye inside the opening minute and Julia keeps working on the head-hunting pounce which only makes coach Doda even louder in the corner. Nadine lands a couple of overhand hooks to briefly stop the Polish assault but Wieniawa quickly resumes the pounce and drills more leather up the middle. Coyle eventually backs off the slugging exchange and uses some quick footwork to escape the close range while the younger brunette is slow to chase her down. Avoiding physical damage is a small victory for the Irish veteran but she can't really plan to be stuck in reverse going forward according to Denise van Outen in the BBU TV booth.
Round 3:
Nadine finally gets more aggressive and lands some good punches into Julia's face but then she gets caught out by a gut harpoon and wobbles forward to meet a vicious uppercut on the jaw that sinks her into loud spasms. Ugh! Julia immediately jumps into trigger-happy mood and knocks the singer's head back while quickly working her onto the ropes where she adds more power to slump the Irish veteran into more trouble. Coyle weaves around on her feet but is unable to find any response and gets thoroughly outpunched even though she avoids going down. This makes Wieniawa lose her temper and she goes low to find that weak spot that finally drops Nadine for the count. However she only gets clinched into a stalemate again and this is the best tactic from the older brunette right now. Julia breaks free late in the round and lands some quick body shots but she lets Nadine off the hook and Doda isn't quite happy about it!
Round 4:
Julia fires away with more slugging bravado and she spills some early blood from Nadine's nose who continues to look subpar on defense - which was her main problem since she entered the league. Julia's relentless head-hunting blast finally pays off here because Nadine can't take all these hard punches and shake them off like she's a durable fighter. She doesn't try to escape from the striking range this time and gets blasted with a left hook on the ear that makes her spin to the side with a whimper just as the Polish actress SMOKES her with a right hook on the mouth a split second later. Boom! Nadine's eyes bawl out to the orbit and SHE CRASHES DOWN IN A HEAP amid a loud cheer from the Cardiff audience. Some extra blood is also spilled from her nose and she doesn't make a genuine effort to beat the count which duly passes her by moments later. KO4 Julia Wieniawa!!!
AFTER: It's not a shocking result by any means, Nadine's career is truly stuck in the divisional basement but any aspiring prospect like Julia needs to rattle off the level one suspects before targeting the established opposition. This should also be the case with Lily-Rose Depp who is lined up to bring the HBO appearance fee next month. It's still too early to say if Julia will fulfill all the promise as Denise van Outen isn't a big fan of Doda's match-making skills but there's only one way to find out! And BBU fans will have a front row seat to enjoy the process.
