BEFORE:

"Antje and I were stablemates," says Gigi with a smile. "We got along. But. There was never any doubt who the Alpha was. And, I won't leave any tonight."

"Gigi," says a hard-eyed Antje, "Needs to stick to lightweight. Because, as she's about to find out, welters like me have too much power for her."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Fear The Dark' by Iron Maiden, and here comes Gigi Hadid..."

Cassie: "This is Gigi's first appearance at Asylum since 2015, when she made her debut on our Hallowe'en card against Kesha..."

McCarthy: "Yet ANOTHER of Weirdo's failed welters. Just like the big stiff about to come down here..."

O'Dell: "Gigi into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve, and she's got the crowd popping with that zebra striped number she's chosen. And, that's 'Heads Will Roll' by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and here comes 'The Scandinavian Stunner', Antje Utgaard..."

Tess: "Utgaard making history of a sort tonight, the first fighter ever to leave Front Street and return to the active roster..."

McCarthy: "Proving Weirdo doesn't know what he's doing...because he signed this big stiff TWICE..."

O'Dell: "Antje into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve, and the crowd giving it up for the blonde in that stars and stripes bikini she likes. Ladies about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Antje. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Hadid isn't anything special, but she's better than THIS stiff!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Here we go and Utgaard wasting no time! She's all OVER Gigi early, backing her up with hard shot, bringing that power to bear. Hadid looking spooked, giving ground, covering, definitely uncomfortable early..."

O'Dell: "Working for her at the moment, though. She's got Gigi on the back foot, and she's keeping her there. Hadid taking a LOT of punishment right now, showing she can do that. The bigger blonde, though, getting by far the better of this..."

McCarthy: "Just watch. Gigi will get her."

O'Dell: "We're down under fifteen to go in the first and it's been almost all Utgaard. Hadid's scored in counter here and there, but Antje's been pretty dominant in her Front Street return. There's the bell. Utgaard and wide."

Cassie: "And Antje grabs the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins with Antje pushing forward and GIGI ROCKS HER WITH A RIGHT HAND! Antje ALL WOBBLY BUTT as Hadid lands a perfect counter and now goes over to the offensive, backing up the older blonde with flurries of heavy shot..."

McCarthy: "JUST as I predicted..."

O'Dell: "Hadid POURING on the fire, looking to end this thing. Utgaard backed to the ropes, keeping the guard high, clinching now, but Hadid shoves her off and works some body before going back to the head. GOOD right, Gigi..."

Cassie: "Ref looking in closely..."

O'Dell: "Most certainly is. We're coming down the stretch, though. Hadid trying to get the stoppage, but it's not going to happen. SOLID right from Gigi there, but that's the bell and Antje rides it out. Huge shutout round for Hadid, though..."

Tess: "And we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Hadid pressing the advantage early. She's definitely looking to finish this thing. Utgaard unsteady, giving ground, taking a lot of solid shot from Hadid. Gigi scoring well with both hands, piling up the points and the punishment..."

Tess: "Just looking for the one shot that ends it."

O'Dell: "Utgaard able to counter here and there. Still doesn't have the legs back, and that's allowing Hadid to sit down on things without worrying about walking into the big shot that could end it. NICE right from Gigi, backs up Antje..."

McCarthy: "Ref might as well stop this. This big tomato can is finished."

O'Dell: "Down under fifteen to go in the third. SHARP exchange there as Utgaard seems to be shaking off the worst of it. And ANOTHER big trade, with both fighters landing a solid right at the bell. Hadid's round wide, but Antje may be back in this..."

Cassie: "Gigi's got the lead, though, 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth begins with Hadid working at range now. Younger blonde knows Utgaard has the legs back, and she's not going to try to get physical with her. Antje willing to play this game right now. She's got as much length as Gigi, and she's giving as good as she gets..."

McCarthy: "And, maybe she's a little cowlicked after getting caught with one..."

Tess: "Cow what now?"

Cassie: "Worth it, BFF?"

Tess: "Hmm. Just one fight to go? Probably not..."

McCarthy: "What ARE you two babbling about?"

O'Dell: "IF we could focus on the ring, we're coming down the stretch in what's been a very competitive fourth. Both fighters have gotten work done and there's not a lot in it, Final seconds ticking off with the ladies happy to get their respective boxes on at gunnery range. There's the bell. It's close, but it's Gigi for the third round in a row, and Hadid stretches the lead to 39-37."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Fifth underway and UTGAARD ROCKS HADID! Oh, right off the bell, Antje with a STIFF left jab, followed by a NASTY right hand, and Hadid is HURT! Utgaard POURING on the fire now, looking to put an end to this..."

Tess: "That heavy 'Front Street Jab' set up the right..."

McCarthy: "IT. IS. A. JAB. EVERY. FIGHTER. HAS. ONE!"

O'Dell: "Gigi now the one trying to play for time. She's backing and covering as Antje bangs away. Utgaard traps Hadid on the ropes. Body on sale. And the older blonde is BUYING IN BULK! She's POUNDING ribs and tummy..."

Cassie: "Wants to bring that guard down..."

O'Dell: "Gigi crouching, but keeping the hands high. Clinching now, hanging on. Ref going to break them apart. Just seconds left. GOOD right, Utgaard, and that shook Hadid, but there's the bell. Gigi survives the fifth. But Antje pitches the shutout and cuts the younger woman's lead to 48-47 at the half."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Second half begins with Utgaard determined to end this thing. She's walking her rival down behind that heavy left jab. Hadid unsteady, backing and covering, trading space for time right now. GOOD right by Utgaard wobbles Gigi..."

Tess: "This may just be a matter of time..."

O'Dell: "Antje measuring with that left hand. Hadid keeping the hands high, playing defense and GOING DOWN AFTER A STRAIGHT RIGHT HAND! What a SHOT from Antje and Gigi crashes to her back, bouncing once before coming to rest!"

Cassie: "WOW!"

O'Dell: "Utgaard to a neutral corner. Hadid flat on her back, a jumble of arms and legs, not moving as the ref's count is at three. Four. Five. He's going to be able to count a LOT higher than ten. Eight. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! No movement at all from Gigi and it's OVER and your winner by KO6 is 'The Scandinavian Stunner', Antje Utgaard!"

McCarthy: "Lucky punch!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Antje Utgaard, and, Antje, how does it feel to be back?"

Antje: "GREAT! It feels GREAT. Don't get me wrong, I loved it at the Fighting Academy. Great people, treated me well. But, Front Street is home. And, I love being back in the gym and back here at Asylum..."

Tess: "Big year coming up for you with the Diamond Tournament..."

Antje: "I can't WAIT for 2024, Tess. I just can't WAIT."
