BEFORE:

"Look," says Bella with a shake of the head, "McMann got lucky when I was here the first time. Hill isn't going to BE so lucky."

"What Bella doesn't get," says a hard-eyed Taylor, "Is that I don't NEED luck to leave her sucking canvas."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside, and that's 'Let Me Hit It' by Etta Bond, and here comes brunette beauty Bella Hadid!"

McCarthy: "And, this girl actually HAS some FCBA wins. She'll get another tonight against this talentless TOOTHPICK!"

Tess: "As Bella pointed out, she was here last year on the brunettes card and fell to Kennedy McMann..."

McCarthy: "That FRAUD! Bella's right! She got LUCKY!"

O'Dell: "Hadid into the ring and helped off with the robe to reveal a chrome yellow number that has the crowd buzzing, and that's 'Natural' by Imagine Dragons booming through the arena, and that can only mean that 'The Face', Taylor Hill is on her way to the ring..."

McCarthy: "And, I LOVE the fact that, after two losses this year, front running Weirdo has the Toothpick JERKING CURTAINS!"

Cassie: "Taylor has also WON five fights this year and is in the Top Twenty at TWO weights..."

McCarthy: "Palicki would have her out of there inside a ROUND..."

O'Dell: "Hill into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. Crowd appreciating the brunette beauty in that azure number she likes. Ladies about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Hill. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Talentless TOOTHPICK! Hadid!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Split in the first. Let's see who's right. Ladies stepping to range and boxing early. Hill has some reach, but not a lot, and Bella's doing a good job offsetting that by playing the angles. Good, two-way stuff early in this one..."

McCarthy: "Hadid just needs to be patient. She'll take this toothpick OUT."

O'Dell: "Bella being more than patient right now, not forcing anything, and neither is Taylor. Hill setting up right hands with the left, getting her box on. Pretty even stuff at the moment, with neither brunette able to take control right now..."

Cassie: "Bella impressive with those hands. Punches out and back quickly."

O'Dell: "We're coming down the stretch in the first. NICE exchange there with both fighters landing a good right hand and there's the bell. Not a lot in it in this first round, but the points are going to go to Taylor and Hill takes the early 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Back on the same terms here in the second. Both fighters getting work done, and neither able to establish any kind of control right now. GOOD right hand by Hadid there and that got Taylor's attention. Bella following up..."

McCarthy: "And, she's got the toothpick backing and covering!"

O'Dell: "Does, indeed. Not a lot to lose for Hadid in this one, and she's getting aggressive now, tossing some serious leather at the former lightweight champion. Hill giving ground, playing defense, while Bella piles up some points..."

Tess: "This has got to be doing wonders for her confidence..."

O'Dell: "Sure does. We're down under 15 in the second, and Bella's now in charge of this thing, fighting lead while Hill works on the counter. GOOD right by Hadid and there's the bell. Excellent round for Bella, who takes it wide."

Cassie: "And evens things at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Hadid still in control as we start the third. She's found something here and she's going to ride it. Hill giving ground as Bella works forward behind that left jab. Taylor firing back in spots now, not going to allow what happened the last round..."

McCarthy: "Keep at her, Bella! Knock her out!"

O'Dell: "Good, two-way action now, as Hill's gotten back in this thing. Ladies working mostly at range at the moment, exchanging some solid shot. SHARP trade there and Hadid landed a good right hand in it. Taylor holding ground, though..."

Cassie: "Some really heavy leather flying..."

O'Dell: "We are down under twenty seconds to go in what's been a competitive, quickly-paced third round. ANOTHER heavy exchange and it was Hill who landed the best punch in that one. There's the bell. Close to Hadid."

Tess: "And Bella pulls into the 29-28 lead."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth begins the way the third ended. Ladies at range working hard, tossing heavy shot at one another and HADID IS HURT! A straight right hand from Taylor and Bella is STEPPIN' IN FENCE POST HOLES! What a shot by Hill..."

Tess: "Hadid did well to stay on her feet..."

O'Dell: "But, Taylor's looking to remedy that right now. She's walking her rival down behind the jab, landing a TON of hard shot. Hadid with the hands high, trapped on the ropes now. Hill going downstairs, working body..."

McCarthy: "Ride it out, kid. Just ride it out."

O'Dell: "That's what Bella's trying to do. She's got the guard high. She's jabbing back in spots, doing just enough to keep the referee at bay. Under ten seconds left in this one. Hill banging away right to the bell, but Hadid survives. Taylor wide in the fourth."

Cassie: "And, we're even at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Fifth begins with Hill looking to finish this thing. Taylor again walking her rival down behind the long left jab, dropping hard rights over top of it. Bella unsteady, willing to give ground, trade space for time. GOOD right hand, Taylor..."

Tess: "Hadid in DEEP trouble..."

O'Dell: "Looks to be. Hill banging away with both hands now. Bella wobbly, looking ready to go. Ref looking in and DOWN GOES HADID! A short left hook from Hill and Bella down on her left side at Taylor's feet..."

Cassie (singing): "Turn out the liiiigggghhhhtttssss. The party's ohhhhverrrr..."

O'Dell: "Hill to a neutral corner. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. Going to be academic. No movement at ALL from Bella. Seven. Eight. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! The count passes Hadid by and it's OVER and your winner by KO5 is 'The Face', Taylor Hill!"

McCarthy: "LUCKY! She just got LUCKY!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Taylor Hill, and, Taylor she was plenty aggressive in there..."

Taylor (nodding): "Yeah. Not surprised she went after me. She's got some power and didn't have anything to lose. But, that was always going to end up exactly the way it did, with her on the canvas."

Tess: "You had a great year by most standards, 6-2, beat Kloss, Kerr, and Swift. Only losses to Strahovski and DiDonato, but I know you aren't happy with it..."

Taylor (shaking her head): "I'm NOT. I had a chance at the title and I didn't get the result. So, no. I'm not happy with it. But, I'm building momentum for next year. This was a step toward doing that."
