BEFORE:

It’s Bella Thorne's first fight of 2024 and she’s pumped, sporting a big smile at the press table and dressed in a dark lavender mini-dress. The fiery redhead faced a setback in December when she failed to seize the coveted Bantamweight belt from champion Priyanka Chopra. But hearing her tell her own tale, that hasn’t dampened her enthusiasm one bit.

“I beat Chopra once, and then she got me the next time. Fair,” Bella smirks from the table, looking cocky for someone who’s just come off a loss. “The next time we fight, whether its for the belt or not…I’ll beat her ass. As for Hunter, she’s good, but her schedule isn’t very busy. She barely has half the experience I do. I’m pretty f*cking confident I’m starting 2024 with a win.”

As for her opponent tonight, Miss Hunter King doesn’t look too pleased with the lack of respect from Bella in her opening comments, seemingly too focused on the future instead of the now. The Knockout Babes has had her own fair share of bad luck ever since being released from Front Street stable. She’s earned key victories over Lynch and Hannah Palmer, but floundered whenever mention of the actual belts are mentioned.

“Thorne would do well not to underestimate me,” King says haughtily from across the room. The shorter blonde has her bright golden hair tied up into a neat bun, and she walked into the press hall earlier in a one-strap black mini dress of her own. “I’ve KO’ed girls who thought that they could take me out easily. Bella sounds like she thinks I’m easy prey. Well, we’ll see in the ring, won’t we?”

Ladies meet at the podium and Bella’s three-inch advantage might prove problematic for the shorter and older blonde, but Hunter’s not giving two fucks, striding right up to the redhead and shoving both fists into her chin. Thorne stays calm as hell, smirking back as she raises her own fists casually, knowing this fight is just another bump in the road to the belts.

Ring officials get involved and gently pull the fighters back, leading them to their respective exits and final prepwork for the eventual showdown.

Hours later, we’re in the arena of arenas, and both Bella and Hunter are in their corners of the ring. Thorne is dressed in a red sports bra and long black tights, red gloves and red hair in a messy ponytail, whereas Hunter King has gone for a white sports bra and black boxing trunks, black gloves, blonde hair in a tight ponytail.

There’s the wave of the referee’s hand and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!

ROUND 1:

Thorne has her eye on the greater prize, and fights smart here, choosing to circle and jab rather than get into the weeds early. She fends off several forays by King into her space, utilizing that jab hand to great effect. Hunter’s reach is shorter but by no means less powerful, and the blonde keeps her head weaving left and right before surging in to try and trap Thorne against the ropes and go to work on the body. But Bella defends herself well, arms fluid up and down, intercepting those early shots and flurries. Then, the Doll bashes leather back into the face, and as her gloves crunch into nose and cheek, she’s dazing Hunter further and further. They don’t hurt too much at this stage, however, and King shakes them off and keeps trying to get close regardless, scoring some shots off the body but doing little else to change the judges’ minds. Close round to kick things off, and Bella has her gameplan down pat.

ROUND 2:

King being relentless, however, in pursuit, dodging and absorbing those jabs to her face early before surprising Thorne with stiff thumps off her torso, pushing her back a couple of steps each time. Rinse repeat. Thorne needs to be more wary of her opponent’s power, especially when King manages to get in close and fire away those hooks. Thorne might be taller but she’s leaner, and just a couple of those low swings to her body would sap her of her stamina quick. Hunter knows this, and sacrifices some shots off her forehead in order to close the distance fast, then, as we predicted, fires away at Bella’s lower guard, trying to force the redhead into a corner where she can have her way with her further. No such luck. At least not yet, with Bella easily skirting out of the pocket but not before driving more fists and combos into the blonde’s face. Hunter, however, has proven herself time and time again that she can take a pasting, and though she’s grunting out loud whenever one of those fists make impact, she simply shakes off the pain and keeps on coming! Judges look impressed at the bell, awarding King the round right back!

ROUND 3:

And here she comes again! Boy does she not give up! Previous foes have fallen the hard way when King is keen to get on your tail! She chases Bella back with an early overhand swing right to the arms, the taller Doll letting out a grunt as she tastes her foe’s power first-hand. Then, it’s all Hunter King, who stomps in and swings away at the redhead’s body, several gloves landing and smacking off the ribs and side tummy. And when Bella tries to lower both arms and block, she takes a swift shelling to her face in turn, Hunter stepping in close and working her over head to body like a speed bag back at the gym! Thorne midway growls and has had ENOUGH, squaring her own feet and WAILING right back, intending to trade leather for leather with the shorter blonde! Hunter grunts as she takes a stray hook off her face, jolting that head to the side, but she rams a hook right back into the body, almost folding the Doll over to the side! Bella realizes she can’t keep up with the powerhouse Hunter, and slowly is forced to retreat! Thankfully, her gamble pays off, with Hunter running on fumes in only the third round of this fight, chasing after her for not fast enough to do much else! Bell rings and sure, she’s secured herself the best round of the fight thus far, but at what cost?!

ROUND 4:

Thorne's turn to show her foe how it’s done, walking into a dazed and winded King with steady combos that push her back. Bella breathing steadily and picking and choosing her shots, step-in BLASTS of that right hand right to Hunter’s kisser, snapping her head back, or sent shrieking off the top of the head to also drive the blonde into disarray. Hunter just ain’t built for speed AND power, sacrificing the former to get hounded and harassed for the first two minutes of this payback round. Bella literally running circles around the besieged blonde, with Hunter trying to protect both her face and body but failing to do both. Thorne just sinking more leather into her torso to get her to lower her arms, before a couple of her jabs swiftly make contact with her nose and lips. Hunter tries to swing back at unexpected times, hoping to strike the lottery, and one or two narrowly miss Bella on the way in. But overall, the Doll takes the fourth comfortably at the bell, nodding with satisfaction that she sees the end in sight. Girls, however, are effectively drawn in terms of points, and we’ll have to see who makes it out ahead soon.

ROUND 5:

Bella again with the quick movements and fast attacks, aiming to hound and pound Hunter into submission. King, however, having NO part in her own defeat, absorbs the early flurries with a tight guard before suddenly unleashing her own overhands and hooks back, one or two catching Bella clean on the chin and halting her momentum right there and then! OUCH! Thorne groans as her head gets jolted to the side when a glove crashes into the side of her face outta nowhere, Hunter having timed that whammy to the tee! Growling, King WALKS HER FOE down, pushing Bella back towards the ropes with leather sunk into her stomach and arms, stomach and arms, all the while trying to PUT her down! No dice, however! Bella holds on with expert clinch control, wrapping up with the shorter blonde before they both barrel into the ropes, wrestling for superiority. Bella’s taller height allows her to control Hunter’s movements, however, and she easily pivots and breaks free, circling back to the center of the ring but not before sinking several jabs back into King’s face! Rest of the round sees Bella making up for lost points, keeping a heaving King away from her with more harassing shots from afar! Bell rings again and Miss Thorne at least walks away with a draw! Good lord do these two want to hurt each other, but neither fighter can make a claim to be in the driver’s seat just yet!

ROUND 6:

Hunter’s looking to be trouble, however, her energy reserves all but spent in the earlier rounds trying to pin Bella down. She spends the sixth almost all in one spot, near her own corner, lips parted, chest heaving, feet taking tentative steps forward and back, her eyes focused on incoming attacks from Thorne. Thorne is ALL TOO HAPPY to oblige, circling the stationary blonde and treating her position as target practice. Her gloves slam in over and over, mostly taken on the forearms but gradually, as her speed increases, Hunter’s unable to protect herself all at once, and grunts and braces whenever a punch lands on her tummy and is followed by a grazing shot off the top of her forehead, with Bella keeping her attacks unpredictable and disorientating. It works, with Thorne running away with points for the first two minutes, only to get blown back by a sudden counterattack from Hunter King, having had enough patience for one night and suddenly charging out of her corner! Thorne, however, survives the counter-surge, blocking and weaving on her own, and King only manages to thump her several times to the torso. End of the round and it’s clear she wanted to make a comeback here, or at least stake another draw. But it’s Miss Thorne who walks away with a closely contested round.

ROUND 7:

Hunter moving forward, slowly, breathing hard, her face hidden behind both arms. Thorne tries the same tactic of aiming for her tummy, left-right combos sunk straight into the abs and waistline in an effort to get her to expose her chin. King, however, has other plans, bracing her body as she takes a pounding before suddenly shooting her fists out at the same time, scoring nasty shots straight to the Doll’s nose and lips, Bella’s face at times disappearing into the stiff leather! OUCH indeed! Thorne's head and red hair sent flying backwards, spittle flying in different directions as another step-in cross makes its mark, snapping her head and torso back! It’s the signal for King to strike! The Knockout Babe GOES ALL IN, hammering away at the torso and then chopping uppercuts into Bella’s failing arms. One slick right hand gets in and under the arms to SNAG the chin! AND THERE BELLA GOES, stumbling for a second before TUMBLING down to her butt, looking absolutely DAZED! Just like that! It’s a KNOCKDOWN for Hunter King! Trouble in paradise indeed as even the Dollhouse corner can’t believe that happened! Miss Thorne was fully supposed to have put away the challenger three rounds ago! Now, she finds herself slowly crawling towards the ropes, reaching for them in order to pull herself up! The referee’s hovering sideways, counting to six, whilst Miss King is looking HAUGHTY indeed in the neutral corner, smiling and waving at the crowds. Finally, Thorne recovers by the count of eight, and has to nod to the referee repeatedly that she’s fully fit to continue. A minute left on the clock and we all know what’s happening next!! Hunter CHARGES at the sound of the bell, looking to finish Bella off and score the biggest upset since sliced bread! Thorne, however, braces and keeps herself moving down the ropes, refusing to get caught by those heavy swings towards her head! Hunter soon tires herself out, and fails to pin her opponent down for long enough to sap her completely. End of the round and both blonde and redhead end up on opposite sides of the ring, breathing heavily, glaring the other girl down. There’s no doubt that King has scored an upset here, but the question is what Bella’s gonna do about it!

ROUND 8:

Slow start to the eight as both girls look like they need a long breather in order to push through till the end. Hunter looks wary as she comes forth, not sure how she should capitalize on her earlier knockdown attempt when Bella matches her pace, and exchanges jab for jab in the first minute, each girl seeking to test their remaining defenses. Yet, it’s Bella who strikes first, well, technically second, when Hunter throws a haymaker high and wide, seeking her face. Bella reacts on instinct, slipping her head to the side to avoid it, before snagging the blonde back on the side of her jawline, her counter-hook already sailing in mid-way to SMACK the living daylights out of the would-be challenger! OUCH! King didn’t expect that punch coming till it was too late, and her face gets jolted to one side, and then the other, with Bella immediately following up with ANOTHER hook to the other side of her face! DOUBLE OUCH! And King goes stumbling for the hills, looking utterly dazed! HERE COMES BELLA, charging after her with wicked intent!! The Doll senses her comeback moment and seizes it, shoving leather into that toned tummy before driving Hunter back to the ropes with mighty pulled-back swings to batter the last vestiges of her guard! King hangs on valiantly but her arms are getting literally tossed out of the way before she takes a blasting hook across the chin to further weaken her resolve! Bella snarls and growls as she takes the upstart fighter to task, slamming another double-combo of a hook across the face before a clean uppercut SNAPS her head into the sky and back! Hunter makes a low grunt of quit before her legs GIVE WAY! DOWN SHE GOES, her entire form crumbling into a heap by the ropes, and there she lies on her side through the rest of the referee’s count, not making much effort to get back up!! Bella nodding and smiling throughout the count, pacing excitedly in the neutral corner before letting out a ROAR when the referee signals for the END with both hands waved in the air! It’s OVER, folks!!

Official Result: Bella Thorne defeats Hunter King via KO8!

AFTER:

“Hunter’s a tough b*tch. I was hoping to finish this faster but I guess 8 rounds works too.” The victorious Bella chuckles, waving off questions from reporters as she makes her way out of the ring quickly after being declared the winner. Bella probably has places to be!

King’s 2 fight winning streak is cut short tonight as the ‘Knockout Babes’ team flood the ring to help their fighter recover after falling prey to Thorne’s talents inside the ring. But the blonde has put up a respectable performance tonight and will surely want another go at the redhead sometime in the future, considering this has been these two’s first ever battle to date.

Is Bella up for a rematch anytime soon? We’re not sure, The Dollhouse’s most decorated superstar has already exited the arena and might have bigger fish on her mind. But Thorn’s not one to back down from a challenge, so the ball might just be in King’s court.
