KATIE AUSTIN VS BAILEE MADISON

Katie: 30 YO, 5’6 (1.68 m), 1-2-0, 1 KO since 2023, Femme Fight Club

Bailee: 24 YO, 5’6 (1.68 m), 4-12-0. 40 KO since 2017 Foxfire Boxing

Before: “No, I didn’t have a good 2023,” Bailee Madison says frankly in the pre-fight. “# tries and 3 losses. Getting KO’d by FFC’s Livvy Dunne was especially tough. I decided I would see what I could do with Katie Austin. I mean, she had 3 fights herself and only beat Lottie Moss. I think I can get my new year off to a good start by beating Katie.”

“Oh yes, Livvy and I had an interesting chat about Bailee, but, really, I feel more than ready for her. My win over Lottie back in September finally gave me a win. I am eager a Foxfire cutie on her back seeing stars and hearing birdies while the ref counts to 10,” says a confident sounding Katie.

“The only one us flat on her back will be you!” Bailee snaps.

“Well, don’t say I didn’t warn you,” the fitness influencer and swimsuit model responds with a smirk.

In the ring, Bailee and Katie remove their robes. Bailee is in a white one piece swimsuit with black gloves and boots (laces). Bailey has he hair in ponytail. Katie is wearing a light purple one piece with dark purple gloves and boots (light colored laces). Her hair is in a battle braid. The ring instructions are covered quickly, The fighters tap gloves and head for their corners. The bell sounds…

R1: Bailee immediately on the attack, striking rapidly at Katie to the head and body. Katie looks confused she always seems to be looking the other way when one Bailee’s punches home. Katie trying counter but Bailee is very mobile this round and she got Katie looking frustrated by the end of the rounds. Bailee wins the round wide.

R2: Katie Austin responds to her shaky opening round by the one to take the offensive first in R2. She moves across the ring last, ducks Bailee Madison right to the head and connects solidly to Bailee’s chin. Bailee suddenly knocked back on her heels as Katie swarms in close with follow up chin checkers and smacks to the jaw. Bailee gets her mitts up to cover her face and now Katie can start working over Bailee to the midsection. Bailee trying to back away from the storm of leather that is working over her torso, but Kati’s doing a good job of keeping with her and maintaining pressure. Bailee able to get her jab going late to avoid being shutout, but Katie Austin win the round wide.

R3: Both fighters race out of their corners and this time it is Bailee Madison striking first with a deep hook to Katie Austin’s stomach. Bailee pounds in more body shots until she’s got Katie bent forward at the waist and gasping for air. Bailee then goes after Katie to the head. Katie hit hard in the chin, jaw and side of the head. Katie fighting back with her own body shots trying to get Bailee back, but Bailee swings to her right and goes at Katie from a fresh angle. Ktie driven towards the ropes, but manages to slide away to the bell. Bailee Madison scores a wide win on the judges’ cards.

R4: Again, both fighters are out of their corners quickly and start swinging at mid ring. However, this then shifts into a grinding toe-to-toe action as the two get up close and fire in short right and left hands mainly to the body. Intense effort from both Katie and Bailee. Looks very even headed down the stretch but then Katie attacks to Bailee’s solar plexus with repeated shots. Bailee’s attack falters and she is stumbling backwards as Katie presses forward. Bailee still fighting back at the bell, but it turns out Katie has edge Bailee out on the judges; cards to get a narrow win.

R5: Bailee adopting a more defensive look as this round begins. Katie seems to studying Bailee as she keeps Bailee’s attention by sudden burst of body hooks. Looks like she is going for Bailee’s solar plexus again. Bailee trying to protect her midsection, but then Katie Austin springs her trap. With Bailee’s attention directed to protecting her body, Katie makes a lightning strike attack on Bailee’s chin with one uppercut after the other. Bailee’s head is bobbing up and down and then Katie adds a big right hand to the jaw! DOWN GOES BAILEE MADISON! Bailee lands on her side and the rolls onto her back, one arm across her eyes. Katie trots down to the neutral corner to watch as the referee counts. Bailee does stir and tries to sit up but can’t do it.

“SEVEN!...EIGHT!...NINE!...TEN!... YOU’RE OUT!” the official ceies.

THE WINNER KATE AUSTIN KO5!

After: “Really I just paid attention. Going after Bailee to the solar plexus was the key for me. It made her take her mind off her head and I knew that’s where I could get my KO and I!” yz n overjoyed Katie Austin as she adds a new win to her record.

“I got careless and she got me. That’s the truth!” Is all a disheartened Bailee Madison will say in her postfight comments.

This was a close fight with rounds being traded back and forth until the 5th. Katie Austin was able to spot a weak and take advantage/ Good win for Katie who goes 2-2 with a whole new year ahead of her fans hope that she will find the right winning formula in the year ahead.
