Before: Kelsey talking tuff in prefight. "I will mess Nina up," she crows. "No blonde Tiffany stands up to my punching - I'll have her out of there in no time."

Agdal fit, sleek; both fighters making plays for title fights for the 25th anninversary shows. "If she fights half as big as she talks, I'm in trouble," quips the blonde. "Kelsey's great in the gym, I mean, just look at her - but we're not hooking up in a pose-down. I've paid my dues on the beach and in the ring, Merritt better bring more to this fight than her mouth or she's going to get hurt."

Kelsey in black demi-cup bikini, matching gloves, hair loose and long down back and breasts. Nina in red bikini, matching gloves, hair loose and toseed over left shoulder.

R1: Kelsey jabbing with Nina and stamping taller blonde hard in the upperchest. Agdal backing up, eyes Merritt hooking ribs patiently, consistently, landing then dipping, ducking under retaliatory one-twos off the ropes. Busy back and forth, Kelsey pressing her attack to Nina’s ribs, landing both hands behind elbows. Agdal’s legs shivering at one point, teeth bared in a hurting grimace, but standing brave—answering back with pushy one-twos to keep Merritt honest.

R2: Kelsey taking it strong across the ring: Nina plays the matador as she manages the rushing with timely sidesteps. Agdal flaunting her fluid athleticism - guiding Merritt past with a hand on lower back, slipping haymakers and coming up behind her brunette. More than once, Nina grinning, wraps up tummy from behind, resting her chin happily in the crook of Kelsey's neck: Merritt visibly enraged, frustrated - tossing her arms out to the side and roaring at the ref to issue snappier breaks. Not a lot of clean punching - mostly Agdal scoring to Kelsey's ribs as brunette charges past, or potshotting Meritt's chin with pre-emptory sneaky lead rights.

R3: Kelsey finding Nina in the body, stabilizing blonde movement. Merritt able to create a series of meaningful collisions: girls coming together with hard right hands, staying head-on-head to work--best two way action of the fight. Fight evolves into toe-to-toe turn taking--girls trading pumping lefts and rights to the body, short-arming uppercuts through to chin, cuffing and clapping jug at close quarters, Agdal steadily backed up, fighting off the ropes late: Kelsey bumps her a tuff left shoulder, lugs a thumping left to the pit of toned stomach to freeze her and lights Nina up the left uppercut to sit her woozy on the strands. Agdal open mouthed, clinching at the break: hungry Merritt plugging away to hip and flank.

R4: Nina puts on a boxing clinic, busting Kelsey up, frustrating her and breaking her down at midring, Agdal’s eyes hard with concentration as she rotates right, then left, sliding back from Merritt attacks, always regaining initiative with her jab to tawny beauty’s face. Nina shearing off angles with hard, sticking belly jabs; hooking off the jab up top; dropping hard right crosses and swivel-pivoting to avoid the receipt. Kelsey lumping up, grimly coming forward--head jerking back routinely as Agdal’s found the range. After the bell, Merritt battling disappointment in her corner: she can’t find Nina and the harder she tries, the more blonde seems to score.

R5: Nina cutting in with chopping rights and lefts, Kelsey fades it, popping her jab off blonde's face, walking Agdal into a cracking short right counter to send Valkyrie reeling on her heels. Merritt over to offense - spear-jabbing Nina ropeside, then barrelling in close to bury a right hand flat to midriff - blonde groaning, cramping up as Kelsey drops the right foot back for distance, chop-hooks chin. Agdal in a bad way - slapping arm punches: Merritt on wide-spread pins, bending in and down with lashing rights on the chin, easing out onto her back foot to pull a murderous hook across trembling abs. Nina sponging up BOMBS from Kelsey - one right hand landing so flush, blonde goes limp, mouthpiece spilling off her teeth onto Merritt's upperback as brunette bends low on follow through. Blockbuster punching nailing Agdal, her head snapping, body cringing as she sags against ropes, Kelsey throwing her body weight into Lima-style full-body whipsaws, just strapping it on thick. Pounding barrage too much for Nina- she breaks down in stages, finally going out on her feet off one of those trainwreck rights to her face, spilling down Merritt's back and right hip enroute to a face-first splashdown. Kelsey’s bottoms in disarray, giving the fans a little extra in the neutral, KO5 in devastating fashion, Kelsey Merritt!

After: Nina hammered out from repeated Kelsey rights, she showed no respect for the compact Filipina tonight. Badly stunned Agdal vows to get back in the ring with Merritt where she will “wreck havoc”. Kelsey looks forward to breakthrough 2024.

“Taylor says we have a fighting champion at Tiffany,” says Kesley, “I’ve already handed Dido her head, and with Brianna laying out Blake, she can’t ignore me. Nina didn’t belong here and didn’t really want to fight, and I made her pay for it.
