Billie Eilish vs Chloe Grace Moretz (Flyweight Title)

BEFORE:

Blonde/brunette battle for the flyweight gold features Moretz in her second attempt to claim the flyweight belts against Eilish, who wrested the titles from Vanessa Hudgens just last month. And, both fighters come into this one with plenty of confidence. "Billie's good, no doubt," says Moretz with a lovely smile. "But, I've been in with better than her. And, I've BEATEN better than her. Tonight's the night I claim the gold, and it's going to be great to do it against a Front Street girl, since they decided NOT to sign me!"

"Chloe's a Top Ten fly," Billie admits. "She's a challenge. But. She's not beating ME. Not happening. Not tonight. Not ANY night."

ROUND ONE:

Billie right to work. She wants to get physical here, and that's exactly what she does. Chloe wants distance, wants to work the jab, box. But the champion is having none of it. She's coming forward behind the left, backing the blonde up, landing solid shot to head and body. Moretz can't solidify her front despite her best efforts. Instead, the brunette gets work done, all while backing the challenger up again and again. Blonde scores in counter, moves well, never gets hurt. But she's definitely coming out second best as Eilish piles up the points right to the bell. When it rings, the champion's claimed the points wide and grabbed the 10-9 lead.

ROUND TWO:

Adjustments from the blonde. She's moving laterally more, giving ground here and there, making it harder for the champion to get that left on and advance behind it. Billie's still able to come forward some, though, and, when she does, she's plenty effective, working well to both head and body. At other times, the blonde gets the range she wants, works her own jab, lands in combination, makes a fight of it. It's a near-run thing as a result. From the opening bell, both champion and challenger are getting work done and neither is able to take any sort of control of the proceedings. Thus, at the bell, it's close. But it's Eilish, and the champ now leads 20-18.

ROUND THREE:

Same again. Billie wants to work forward, and, when she can find with that left, she walks Chloe back. Moretz moving, slipping, countering, controlling things when she's at range...BOOM! Right hand, CHLOE and BILLIE IS HURT! Moretz a KEY HOLE COUNTER and Eilish is GOBSMACKED! Blonde letting the hands go now and DOWN GOES THE CHAMPION! Brunette spilled to her back as Chloe raises her arms in triumph, heads to a neutral corner. Eilish blinking rapidly, staring up at the ref, rolls to her belly at six. Pushes to hands and knees at seven. Gets to her feet at nine. Ref gives her the mandatory and WAVES ON CHLOE! Blonde all OVER the champion, hammering her back into the ropes and banging away. Ref looking in closely. Eilish tying up, hanging on, makes it to the bell. But, Chloe's taken in 10-8 and evened things at 28.

ROUND FOUR:

Moretz looking to finish. It's the blonde coming forward now, pouring fire on the listing brunette. Eilish backing and covering, trading space for time. She needs to get those legs back under her, but, at the moment, they're plenty wobbly, and the challenger's taking full advantage. Midway through the round, the brunette begins to shake the damage and fire back. Moretz is still in control, but Billie's able to hold canvas, counter in spots, get back into the fight. It's far too late, however, for her to get back into the round, as Chloe's built a huge lead. At the bell, there's no question about the points, it's Moretz and wide, and the challenger has her first lead, 38-37.

ROUND FIVE:

Ladies fighting on even terms now. Chloe continuing to move laterally, give ground, force the champion to work to get the jab on and come forward behind it. Once again, when Eilish can do that, she's able to get work done and pile up points. And, when she can't, it's Moretz who gets the better of things, working well at range, putting punches together, showing plenty of slickness both on offense and defense. Going into the final thirty seconds, there's absolutely nothing in it, but, at that point, the challenger turns on the jets, putting together a trio of sharp combinations that do enough to get her over the line. At the bell, it's Moretz narrowly, and Chloe's lead is now 48-46.

ROUND SIX:

More two-way action. Eilish actually boxing with more in this stanza. Billie, a former dancer, is plenty athletic and moves very well, so she can play this game, and she does. Chloe plays it plenty well, too, and the result is a good, back-and-forth round that's manna for the purists. Both fighters move the feet, head, and hands, both work to create openings and fill them with leather. Both play defense and do so very well. And, both remain sound, denying their respective opponents as many opportunities as possible. Again, it's very tight going into the final thirty seconds, but, this time, BOTH fighters turn up the heat. At the bell, it's very close, but it's Eilish who cuts the lead to 57-56 with four to go.

ROUND SEVEN:

More two-way action as the fighters go at it at range. Blonde and brunette moving the feet, snapping out the jab, building combinations. Moretz giving ground in spots. Both fighters hooking some body here and there, but mostly concentrating upsta...BOOM! Right hand, BILLIE and CHLOE IS RUMBLIN', STUMBLIN', FUMBLIN' ACROSS THE RING! Eilish stepping to, hooking the ribs and DROPPING MORETZ WITH A LEFT HOOK! Blonde CRASHING to her right side as the champion heads to a neutral corner. Moretz rolling to her belly at six. Pushing to hands and knees at eight...pushing up to her feet and COLLAPSING BACK TO THE CANVAS! It's OVER! Chloe can't beat the count and it's OVER and your winner by KO7 and STILL Unified Flyweight Champion is Billie Eilish!

AFTER:

Billie definitely looking like she's been in a fight giving Chloe her flowers in the post. "She's better than I though," the champion says with a nod. "Really adjusted well to what I was doing. Has more power than you think. Had to dig deep to get her. But, I got her. Just like I knew I would."
