BEFORE

Charlize is in her trailer listing to Paula talk on a mic down in ring on the beach. Paula “I came into the FCBA in 2011. I really wanted to fight Charlize, but I didn’t try. She was in her late prime and was still chasing championships and she got a couple more. Then her age caught up with her. I haven’t had a great career in boxing, and felt like my won/loss record wasn’t good enough to fight the GOAT. Recently, I got the chance and jumped at it when I heard she wanted to fight someone her age. I’m just four months younger. She is going to be up for this fight. She has to fight Upton in a couple weeks. I’m smart enough not to fight Upton and smart enough not to go aroundsaying I’m going to knock Charlize out. We will see how it goes.

Charlize tells Neve to put her black robe over back. She knows it’s going to be quite warm in the ring but she doesn’t enter any ring unless she is covered on the down the beach to the ring

THE FIGHT Paula is in black. A black bikini, black gloves and boots. Charlize is in her usual red bikini (It’s alleged it’s the only one she owns) and red gloves and boots. Her blonde hair is cut short, down the same length as her chin from the top of her head. They meet for the instructions, Charlize for the 458th time. They touch glove and move to their corners to wait for the bell.

Round 1. They meet in the center of the ring and as usual Charlize starts with a right jab to Patton’s face and then another which Patton ducks and lands a right to the side of Theron’s head. The blonde misses with another jab and Patton catches with with a right to the right side of Charlize’s head. Theron lands an over hand right to Patton’s head but takes a left-right to her chest. The blonds hand drop to protect the chest and Paula catches Charlize with a pair of punches to her head driving Charlize to the ropes. Charlize finally lands a right to Patton’s jaw only to take a couple punches to her solar plexus pumping some breath from her opponent. Paula drives two more punches to Theron chest and Theron is hurt. Theron hands are up to her chest as Paula goes on a punching spree landing lefts and rights to the blondes head and face. Theron is just taking the blows trying to last the round when the bell rings. Charlize gets to her corner to have Neve ask “What are you doing. You looked terrible. I guarantee you Patton is pumped. You better get serious or lot of people in Vegas are going to win big because you are huge favorite”

Round 2. Patton is out of her corner quickly meeting Theron not far from her corner Patton again lands a pair of punches to Theron’s head, but Charlize responds with a left-right of her own letting Patton know this round is not going to be as easy as round one. The two are swapping punches but Charlize slowly drives Patton across the ring into the ropes.
With her back to the ropes and Charlize still punching away at her head and face, Paula desperately drives a punch toward Theron's stomach. She feels it land and Charlize stop punching turning her back to Patton hand clutching her stomach. Paula thinks she has Charlize beaten. Unfortunately in mid ring, Charlize straightens up and an overhand right lands in Paula face. She staggers back a few steps and then catches Theron with an uppercut to the chin that send her reeling. She hits the ropes as the bell rings. In her corner, Neve tells her that was better but she lost the round, Patton is 2-0. Charlize needs to step up the pace or she will lose on points

Round 3. Both fighters are out of their corners quickly, They meet and the punches start to fly. Charlize backs off. This is not what Charlize wants right now. Patton quickly follows the blonde and catches the blond with an overhand right. Charlize takes the punch and responds pounding two into Patton’s chest causing Paula to back off, The two circle looking for an opening. Charlize makes the move closing with two crosses to Patton’s head and takes two hard jabs the the face. The two are toe to toe with Charlize getting the best of it and Paula backs out. Theron is now following Patton who is moving to avoid the blonde. Charlize is cutting down the ring and finally has Patton trapped in a corner. Charlize moves in to deliver a fight winning beating, but is denied by the bell

Round 4. Chalize is out of her corner quickly, but Paula is also out of her corner with no hesitation. Once again, they meet in the center of ring and start to exchange punches with neither getting the advantage. They break it off and once again circle looking for an advantage. Finally Charlize quickly moves in with another overhand right to the face buckling Patton’s legs. Another overhand right has Paula on the ropes. Her gloves are up protecting her chin. Charlize takes advantage of the high guard and starts working on Patton’s body as lefts and rights pound into Paula’s body. In desperation Paula bends over and drives her shoulder into the blonde’s midsection forcing her back and she is off the ropes and moves to the center of the ring. Charlize quickly follows, but Paula is not anxious to engage. She basically runs out the round. In Theron’s corner Neve tells her the fight is even and she needs to step up. It looks like Paula is already running our of steam

Round 5. Charlize is out of her corner ready to end Patton’s night. They meet and Charlize lands an uppercut to Paula’s chin. Before she can follow up, Paula lands her own uppercut to the blonde’s chin staggering her. Another uppercut and she has Charlize on the ropes. Charlize manages a left to Paula’s head and in return takes a pair of blows to her chest. Paula lands two more to the chest and then goes to the stomach. Once again Paula has Theron in trouble. Patton catches Theron with two more to the stomach. Finally Theron manages to manage a couple hooks to Paula’s chest. The two exchange punches which go Theron’s way and she get off the ropes and out into the ring. Theron uses her famous legs to stay away from Patton as she uses the time to recover. Finally she moves in to engage Patton, but the bell calls a halt to the round. In the blondes corner, Neve says Charlize is lucky that Upton couldn’t be here. She would be pitching a fit Neve tells Charlize it looks like Paula is ready to slug She can’t match Charlize in slugging so go out and get her slugging and finish the fight

Round 6. Theron is slowly out of her corner she wants Patton to come to her. Patton knows she got the better of Charlize in the last round. Now she want to finish the job. Patton closes in on the blonde and start throwing roundhouse punches. She is surprised when Theron meets her and the two start blasting away at each other. They punch away at chests and heads bringing the crowd to it’s feet. Suddenly it’s over. A Theron right upper cut drops Patton on her face. Charlize stands over her looking down at Patton. The referee sends Theron to her corner and starts the count Paula manages to get to her hands and knees at six, but can’t get any further before the count reaches ten. Charlize gets a hug from Neve and one from Cassandra Lynn. They throw the black robe over her shoulders and head to the trailer with another win

AFTER
Paula and Charlize are at the same table showing that there is no hard feeling between the two

Paula “I want to thanks Charlize for this fight. I didn’t win, but now I can brag I fought the greatest. I gave her some problems, I just Don’t have what it takes to lay her out. Not many do”

Charlize: “You know I wanted to fight Paula many times. One time I thought I had management convinced she would be a good choice to put on good fight. I think it was in 2012 or thereabout I told management it was time for to fight Paula. They said “Do you know what Patton did last night.” I didn’t. They told me she had knocked out Righetti and I wasn’t going to fight any fighter who could knock out Amanda. Then the subject got lost in upcoming opponents. Too bad we didn’t fight back then. The outcome could have been far different from the one tonight. I think Paula can still beat any fighter in our age group and that includes me”
