BEFORE:

"Yeah, I took a little break," says Carmella with a gorgeous smile. "But, I always knew I'd be back at some point. Well. Here I am. And, now that I've got the rust knocked off, I'm ready to BEAT some people."

"She can beat people," says Chloe with a nod. "No doubt about that. But, tonight, she's in with the best bantamweight on the planet, so. Yeah. Not gonna go well for her."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and the giant, four-sided screen has been lowered over the ring, and that can only mean that Asylum Beach is about to see some action. And, that's 'Kiss Me More' by Doja Cat, and here comes former unified bantamweight champion Carmella DeCesare onto the sand!"

McCarthy: "And, JUST to make things clear about where we stand among fighting Playmates, DeCesare LOST her title to that Q-tip Grace Park...who fell at the feet of J-Mac in EIGHT!"

Tess: "Because, the FIRST thought the audience had was about which of two AGING Playmates was better..."

McCarthy: "Ag...YOU...SHUT UP, WALMART!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Drink up, boys, as Carmella climbs through the ropes and is helped off with the robe to reveal a vermilion number that gets the crowd here in the arena to popping. And that's..."

McCarthy: "HORRIBLE! AWFUL! An ASSAULT on my OLFACTION!"

O'Dell: "'Uh Oh', by the lovely lady headed onto the sand right now, 'The Next Big Thing', Chloe Bennet!"

Cassie: "Chloe where she has been for more than half a decade now, right in the thick of the bantamweight title picture. But, as you can see, some other titles may be coming into play as well, because, it's Front Street 3.0, baby!"

O'Dell: "Bennet through the ropes and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve, who, per Cassandra Lynn, were ferried across the street to the beach set up via an underground tunnel..."

Cassie: "Wasn't cheap to build that or easy to get the permits. But, Uncle Wiz and I have a way of getting things done..."

McCarthy: "I just threw up in my mouth a little..."

O'Dell: "Aaaannndddd, we're about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Chloe. Mac?"

McCarthy: "DeCesare isn't as good as ME, but she's better than Bennet. Carmella!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Third straight split panel and the ladies doing a little recon as we start the first Asylum Beach fight in some time. They're moving and jabbing, feinting, looking for openings, clearly feeling out both one another and the footing on the sand across the street..."

McCarthy: "This is an underconstrued part of beach boxing. It's not like being in a ring with your boots on..."

O'Dell: "Definitely a different situation. Rings can vary a little bit as far as firmness and things like that, but, in the FCBA, they're all pretty close to one another, same dimensions, all of them have to come up to the same specs, so there's not a ton of difference..."

McCarthy: "Exactly, but EVERY beach is different. The sand and the footing are all affected by lots of things, so you've got to get an idea of what you're dealing with."

Tess: "Both ladies definitely working to do that right now, as they're ranging all OVER the sand."

O'Dell: "And, both brunettes getting some work done, too, though neither is super busy. When they get the jab on, they're able to follow with some right hands, build a combination here and there. But, as the final seconds tick away in the first, no doubt it was a recon round and also no doubt that Carmella will take the points, albeit narrowly..."

Cassie: "And, DeCesare takes the 10-9 lead as well."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second underway and the brunettes getting busier now. They're setting up and range and getting their respective boxes on, and both quickly getting into rhythm, putting punches together, scoring with both hands, all while playing very good defense, blocking, slipping, countering well..."

Cassie: "Both of these fighters have shown that they're excellent boxers, so, no surprise..."

O'Dell: "Bennet working the feet a bit more than Carmella, as Chloe looks to play the angles here, while DeCesare is more willing to rely on her reach advantage, but both strategies working and THERE'S A RIGHT HAND, BENNET and Carmella iS HURT! DeCesare wobbles and BENNET DROPS HER WITH A RIGHT HOOK!"

Tess: "That may do it!"

O'Dell: "Chloe quickly to a neutral corner. Carmella down on her back in the sand, staring up at the ref. Count at three. Four. Five. DeCesare not moving at all. Eyes closed. Seven. Eight. Not going to happen. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! That quickly, it's OVER and your winner by KO2 is 'The Next Big Thing', Chloe Bennet!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go across the street to the beach and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Chloe Bennet, and, Chloe, that was FAST..."

Chloe (smiling): "You never think it's going to be quick against a girl with her talent. But, when you get an opportunity to get somebody out of there, you've got to take advantage of it...or you'll wish you had."

Tess: "This was your fifty-eighth fight, but your first beach fight. Are we going to see you on the sand again?"

Chloe (nodding): "No doubt. This is an arena I definitely fit in, one I can excel in, so, I'm going to be involved. How involved will depend on a lot of things, but, I'll absolutely be back on the sand."
