BEFORE:

"I've heard a lot about this girl's potential," says Ali with a smile. "Well, tonight, she has the POTENTIAL to be taken to the woodshed."

"Definitely not going to be easy," says Tate, "But, I AM going to get the job done."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'She's Kinda Hot' by 5 Seconds of Summer you hear, and here comes three-time lightweight champion Ali Larter!"

McCarthy: "And, I can't wait for a REAL fighter to take this Dancing Hooker to the woodshop!"

Tess: "Are they going to make a birdhouse?"

McCarthy: "What ARE you talking about, Walmart?"

O'Dell (sighing): "Ali into the ring and helped off with the robe, and looking at her in that yellow bikini, she'd make a pretty good ad for Mac's assertion that age is nothing but a number..."

McCarthy: "Not as good as ME in a bikini, but, yeah."

O'Dell: "Aaaannnnddddd that's 'Vicious' you hear behind us, and here comes the singer of that tune, 'The Calgary Crusader', Tate McRae!"

Cassie: "Tate off to a very good start at Front Street, but, she's stepping up the competition tonight, no doubt."

O'Dell: "McRae into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve and the crowd popping for the brunette beauty in that admiral blue number she likes. Ladies about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Tate. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Larter's a REAL fighter. Ali!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Split panel in the first, and the ladies immediately get their respective boxes on. Larter setting up at range and getting that jab going. She's popping it in the face of the brunette again and again, following on with solid right hands. This is good stuff from the veteran..."

Cassie: "And, it's what this fight's going to be about. Tate's younger, quicker, more athletic, but Larter has a TON of experience..."

O'Dell: "That she's putting to excellent use against the teen brunette right now. McRae not in reverse, she's in neutral, as Larter's controlling things with that left hand. She's found the range, and she's putting punches together beautifully right now, looking every bit like a champion..."

McCarthy: "Kid is out of her depth here. Weirdo should never have booked this fight..."

O'Dell: "Coming down the stretch in the opening stanza and McRae getting taken to the woodshed right now. Brunette lands a shot here or there, but she's been on the defensive the entire round. Good combination, Ali and another and there's the bell. It's Larter and wide in the first."

Tess: "And, the blonde takes the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "McRae moving the feet now, after hearing about doing just that from Neve Campbell between rounds. She's bouncing around, snapping out that jab, using all that athleticism she's got in the tool box. Blonde trying to find the brunette now, but having no success doing it..."

McCarthy: "This is a temporary solution. Ali's going to find the range again."

O'Dell: "Can't find it right now. Instead, Tate getting work done, getting to spots, getting off, bouncing away before Larter can counter. McRae SLICK defensively, slipping punches, demonstrating that ridiculous flexibility she has. Putting together a nice flurry there, then ducking away from a rejoinder..."

Tess: "If anyone in the audience is wondering why Front Street is so high on this girl, this is why."

O'Dell: "Twenty seconds left in the second and McRae just as dominant in this round as Larter was in the first. GOOD combination by Tate backs Ali up and McRae follows with a HARD right that snaps back the blonde's head at the bell! No doubt about this one. McRae. Wide."

Cassie: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third underway and Larter adjusting. Ali's angling, looking to match footwork, working to get that left on target again. When she can, she's getting work done, landing solid rights off it. But, when she's unable to land the left, Tate's movin' and groovin' and piling up points..."

Cassie: "Not many girls at lightweight can move like this..."

O'Dell: "But, Larter using all that skill and experience to offset what the younger woman is doing. And, for the first time in the bout, we're seeing a good, two-way round, with both fighters having some success and getting some work done and there's a SCINTILLATING EXCHANGE!"

McCarthy: "Couple of hard shots landed there!"

O'Dell: "No doubt about it. Nobody hurt, but both women got the head snapped back in that trade. We're rolling into the final seconds of the third, not a lot in it. Good right hand from Tate and Ali counters with a nice combination and there's the bell. It's close, but it's Larter."

Tess: "And, Ali's back in the lead 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Back to the good, two-way stuff as we start the fourth. Larter working that left hand, showing all the skill that made her a Tiffany champion. McRae moving the head, hands, feet, making things difficult for the blonde, scoring well in spots, just as Larter is at the moment..."

Tess: "Ali showing she still has it, but you wonder, as the fight goes on, will she slow down?"

O'Dell: "Stamina definitely a question that may need answering. But, for the moment, the blonde holding her own against the much younger brunette, putting together and nice flurry there and GETTING DROPPED! Oh, what a right hand from McRae! Out of nowhere and Larter is down on her back!"

Cassie: "Just a bolt of lightning, Jenny!"

O'Dell: "Tate quickly to a neutral corner. Ali staring up at the referee. Count at three. Four. Five. Larter rolling to her belly. Six. Seven. Blonde to hands and knees. Eight. Nine. Not going to happen. TEN! It's OVER! Ali still on all fours as the count passes her by and it's OVER and your winner by KO4 is 'The Calgary Crusader', Tate McRae!"

McCarthy: "LUCKY!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Tate McRae, and, Tate, you were giving away a lot of experience in there tonight..."

Tate (nodding): "Yeah. Obviously, she's got a ton of skill, really knows what she's doing. Makes you work for everything. But, the only way you can GET experience is getting in against girls like her and finding a way. And, I found one."

Tess: "It's been a good freshman year for you so far. What's next?"

Tate (smiling): "Well, that's up to the front office. I just know we still have five months to go this year, and I want to get back in there at least a couple of times before it's over."
