BEFORE:

"Last time I was here," says Milla with a smile, "I gave Taylor Hill all she could handle. And this girl? She's no Taylor Hill."

"Milla's right about one thing," says Olivia with a smile of her own. "I'm NOT Taylor Hill, but I AM going to be the one whipping her ass tonight."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's

McCarthy: "An egreasious assault on my olfaction!"

Tess: "A what now?"

Cassie: "Five fights left. We MIGHT have time to sort this out..."

McCarthy: "What ARE you two babbling about?"

O'Dell: "The song is 'Don't Fade Away', and the singer of same, the stunning Milla Jovovich is on her way to the ring!"

McCarthy: "And, let me go on record as saying she's going to DESTROY Weirdo's Dancing Hooker!"

O'Dell: "Milla climbing into the ring to be helped off with the robe, and she's looking plenty good in that white number we've seen before if the crowd's reaction is any indication. And, that's 'Good 4 U' pounding through the arena, and here comes the singer of THAT tune, 'The Murrieta Mauler', Olivia Rodrigo!"

Tess: "And, Olivia's had quite the start to her career, both before and since she joined Front Street..."

Cassie: "No doubt about it, BFF. We have BIG plans for Olivia. BIG plans."

O'Dell: "Rodrigo into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve to reveal that marigold two-piece we've seen before. And, the ladies are about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Olivia. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Like I said, Milla!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Panel split again. Let's see who's right. Ladies getting their box on early, and, no surprise there. Both of these fighters like to box at range. Jovovich with the reach advantage here, but Rodrigo doing a good job handling that, moving and angling well..."

Tess: "Might be all about the movement for Olivia in this one."

O'Dell: "Could be. She's not ranging around the ring right now, but she's far from stationary, moving the feet, head, and hands, getting to spots and getting off. For her part, the redhead working the left, following on with right hands. Jovovich always a solid boxer..."

McCarthy: "And a good athlete, too. Moves very well."

O'Dell: No doubt about it. We're down under fifteen seconds in a competitive first. Sharp exchange there as both fighters landed a good right hand. Ladies move and reset and before anything else of import can happen the bell sounds and the first is in the books. Close to Olivia."

Cassie: "And Rodrigo takes the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second round underway on the same terms. Things worked pretty well for both fighters in the first round, and, since it ain't broke, they aren't going to fix it. Nice combination there from Rodrigo and JOVOVICH ROCKS HER WITH A RIGHT HAND! A PRETTY right from Milla and Olivia is HURT!"

Cassie: "Lot of round left, too..."

O'Dell: "Definitely is and the veteran is going to take full advantage of it. She's loading up the big guns, backing up the younger woman with flurry after flurry. Olivia with the guard high, being forced into the ropes now, as Milla digs some body and goes right back to the head..."

McCarthy: "Hometown ref won't stop this..."

O'Dell: "He's looking in closely, but Rodrigo's firing back in spots, well aware of the danger she's in right now. Jovovich just TEEING off, landing some solid shot, but Olivia blocking and slipping and rolling with and running clock here and she's going to make it to the bell. There it is! BIG round for Milla who takes it wide."

Tess: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Jovovich coming forward, backing up Rodrigo as we start the third. Olivia's legs not all the way back and Milla knows it. She's taking the fight to the younger woman. Brunette not trying to hold canvas, willing to give some ground here, fight on the defensive..."

Tess: "Not a bad strategy right now."

O'Dell: "Definitely is not. Olivia moving better as the round goes on. Showing some lateral movement now as the legs come back around. She's slipping punches, landing solid counters, working her way back into the fight. Sharp exchange and then another and the brunette gives as good as she gets."

McCarthy: "If she keeps trading with Milla she'll get knocked silly again!"

O'Dell: "Coming down the stretch in the third. Rodrigo angling, landing a nice combination. Jovovich a nice right hand in response. Olivia circles away, works the jab. Five seconds left. And, there's the bell. And, while Olivia made up some of the stagger as the round went on, Milla takes it close."

Cassie: "And moves into the 29-28 lead."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Back on even terms now and we're back to where we were in the first, with the ladies boxing. Milla using the length, working off the long poke. Olivia offsetting the reach advantage by angling, moving the feet, getting to spots and then getting off in combination..."

Cassie: "Nice stuff from Rodrigo, who's shaken off the damage and gotten right back to executing the fight plan."

O'Dell: "Milla, meanwhile, doing a good job with hers. She's in rhythm, showing that boxing ability we've seen so many times in the past. AND THERE'S A RIGHT FROM RODRIGO AND JOVOVICH IS HURT! Olivia a sneaky right hand! Milla covers up and is DROPPED BY A THREE-PUNCH COMBINATION!"

Tess: "And, all THREE of those shots were NASTY!"

O'Dell: "Milla down on her back. Olivia quickly to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Jovovich staring up at the referee. Six. Seven. Milla sitting up now at eight. Nine. It's not going to happen. TEN! It's OVER! Milla still sitting on the canvas and it's OVER and your winner by KO4 is 'The Murrieta Mauler', Olivia Rodrigo!"

McCarthy: "Lucky again!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Olivia Rodrigo, and, Olivia, things got pretty rocky in the second..."

Olivia (nodding): "Yeah. All credit to her. She keyholed a good one, and, that can happen against a fighter as good as she is. Thing is, everybody gets caught sometimes. The important thing is how you handle it. I handled it. I got back. And, I took her out of there."

Tess: "What's next for you?"

Olivia: "Still plenty of year left. I want to get back in action soon, keep building on what we've been doing in the gym this year."
