BEFORE:

"We've all heard about how Front Street's never succeeded at welter," says Laura with a smile. "And, them sending this KID to fight me makes me believe they might not know what they're doing."

"I'm excited to get a shot at welter," says Tate, "And, as Laura's about to find out, I am big enough, strong enough, and good enough to win up here."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Been Caught Stealing' by Jane's Addiction you hear, and here comes redhead beauty Laura Prepon!!"

McCarthy: "SPEAKING of failed welterweights! This girl was in stable after stable and got chance after chance and kept proving she SUCKED!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Laura into the ring and helped off with the robe, and the crowd showing plenty of appreciation for Ms. Prepon in that deep blue bikini..."

O'Dell: "And that's 'Vicious' you hear behind us, and here comes the singer of that tune, 'The Calgary Crusader', Tate McRae!"

Tess: "And, I'll go right ahead and ask my BFF if this is a one-time thing or if we're going to see Tate working at welter some going forward..."

McCarthy: "What would SCABBO know?"

Cassie: "EVERYthing, is what I know. And, as for Tate, we'll definitely be seeing more of her at welter...among other places."

O'Dell: "McRae into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve and the crowd popping for Ms. McRae in that admiral blue number she likes. Ladies about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Tate. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Prepon sucks, but even SHE can beat a Dancing Hooker like McRae!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Split panel in the first and the ladies right to work. Prepon coming forward behind the jab, quickly backing up the younger woman. Tate getting squared up early here, and that's not a good thing for the brunette. Laura definitely with the size advantage in this one..."

Cassie: "Tate weighed in at 131 for this one, so, she IS giving up some weight..."

O'Dell: "And, Laura looking to make that play as she's backing up the brunette repeatedly in the early going. Tate's not hurt, but she's definitely taking the worst of things right now. SOLID combination from Prepon and then another one. She's getting things going in a big way..."

Tess: "Clearly looking to make this a shorter fight, and that's a smart move for a woman over 40 in against a teenager."

O'Dell: "We're down under thirty seconds remaining in the first. Laura's been in control throughout. Tate able to score in spots, mostly in counter, as the veteran fights lead and gets punches put together. Final seconds tick off the clock and there's the bell. Laura. Wide."

McCarthy: "And, the Dancing Hooker is in a 10-9 hole!"

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "More movement from the brunette as we start the second. Laura might have the size advantage, but Tate's using the quickness and athleticism to offset some of that now. She's not working the jab and circle, mind, but she's moving laterally, giving ground in spots, PICKING her spots to bounce forward and get off..."

McCarthy: "RUNNING AWAY is more like it!"

Cassie: "Maybe she should stand in the phone booth and bang like you did the time Neve SHUT YOU OUT..."

McCarthy: "I WAS ROBBED! I WON that fight!"

O'Dell: "Laura working the long left poke. When she gets it on target, she can follow on with hard rights. When she can't, though, it's Tate who's getting work done. Right now, there's not a ton in it, as both fighters are getting some of what they want and neither can take control."

Tess: "Tate showing some nice defense here..."

O'Dell: "No question about that. McRae slipping and blocking very well, something she didn't do nearly as well in the opening stanza. Ten seconds remaining in this one. Tate slips a left hand, bounces forward, lands a nice combination and there's the bell. Close, but the brunette takes the points to even things at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Tate movin' and groovin' as the third starts. Laura not chasing. Instead, she's moving the feet, looking to match footwork and square. She's using the jab to locate, follow on with hard right hands. Good, two-way stuff for the second round in a row, as both fighters seem to be in rhythm..."

Tess: "And, again, the longer this fight goes, the better it is for Tate..."

O'Dell: "Prepon's probably thinking the same thing, but she's not rushing, not getting sloppy. She's taking her opportunities when she gets them, and looking to create others with that jab. Tate slipping the left, bouncing forward and STAGGERING LAURA WITH A RIGHT HAND! Prepon wobbled and DROPPED WITH A RIGHT HOOK!"

Cassie: "That might do it!"

O'Dell: "Laura down on her right side. McRae quickly to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Prepon pushing up to elbow and haunch at six. Seven. Redhead to hands and knees at eight. Nine. Not going to happen. TEN! It's OVER! Laura still on all fours as the count passes her by and it's OVER and your winner by KO3 is 'The Calgary Crusader', Tate McRae!"

McCarthy: "Lucky!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Tate McRae, and, Tate, a bit of a slow start in this one..."

Tate (smiling): "Yeah. I mean, the fight plan was to move, but, I got in there and tried to get the distance I wanted and I was too static. I heard about it in the corner between rounds and 'got off my a**' like Neve said."

Tess: "And, then you proved you have the power to fight up here..."

Tate: "Oh, there's no DOUBT about that. I hit as hard as anybody in the stable. I can fight welter, and I can WIN at welter. And, if management gets me fights up here, that's EXACTLY what I'm going to do."
