BLONDE AMBITION @ THE ASYLUM: A NEW BEGINNING

BEFORE:

"Last time we fought," says a hard-eyed Jessica, "I HAD her and let her off the hook. Well. Not THIS time. Not THIS time."

"There's no doubt," says Chloe with a nod, "That she can fight. But, as I proved last time, she's good. I'm BETTER."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and the four-sided giant screen has been lowered over the ring, which, of course, means we're about to see some action across the street at Asylum Beach. And, that's 'Rising' by Jeff Williams, which can only mean that the lovely Jessica Nigri is coming onto the sand!"

McCarthy: "And, UNlike most of the stiffs Weirdo brings in here, she's a REAL fighter!"

Cassie: "Nigri's definitely won her share of fights."

O'Dell: "Jessica climbs through the ropes and is helped off with the robe, and she's looking PLENTY good in that bubble gum pink number we've seen before, and that's..."

McCarthy: "TERRIBLE!"

Tess: "AWFUL!"

Cassie: "An assault on Mac's OLFACTION!"

McCarthy: "SHUT UP, BOTH OF YOU!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Drink up, boys, while you listen to 'Uh Oh' by the lovely lady walking onto the sand right now, 'The Next Big Thing', Chloe Bennet!"

Tess: "And, while Bennet's been number one bantam at Front Street for a long time, there's no question Lili Reinhart has a claim to that position these days. So, Bennet definitely doesn't want to slip up tonight..."

O'Dell: "Chloe through the ropes and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. Crowd popping for the lovely Ms. Bennet in that blue bikini she likes. And, the ladies are about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Chloe. Mac?"

McCarthy: "REAL fighter. Nigri."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "First split panel of the night. Let's see who's right. Blonde immediately after the brunette here. Jessica comes out guns blazing and she's backing the former champ across the sand with flurry after flurry of heavy fire. Bennet giving ground, playing defense in the early going..."

McCarthy: "Not a bad idea from Nigri. She lost the last time, show this Dancing Hooker things are going to be different this time around."

O'Dell: "And, that's clearly what the blonde is trying to do. She's all offense right now, and it's working very, very well, because Bennet's being reduced to countering as she gives ground. Former champ can't get on the front foot, because Jessica, at this point anyway, won't let her..."

Tess: "This isn't a bad strategy for Bennet, either. Why get into a firefight this early if you don't have to?"

O'Dell: "That's clearly the thinking from the brunette, who's been known to be more than willing to trade bombs throughout here career. We're down to just ten seconds in the opening round and another good flurry from the blonde takes us to the bell. Not close in the first. All Nigri."

Cassie: "And Jessica takes the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Nigri again on the offensive, but Chloe's had enough of the back foot and HERE WE GO! Blonde and brunette trading BOMBS in the middle of Asylum beach, as both fighters want to take control and neither is willing to cede it to the other. BIG right from Chloe and Jessica answers with one of her own!"

Cassie: "Something going to have to give here, because they are REALLY going at it."

O'Dell: "No doubt about it. Some good defense being played out there, but there's a TON of leather being launched, so plenty of it is landing, and both girls showing they can take a licking and keep on ticking. ANOTHER sharp exchange that snaps back heads! Crowd really into this..."

McCarthy: "Fans love ACTION! That's why they love J-Mac. That and this rocking body, of course..."

O'Dell: "Down under thirty seconds remaining in the second. Not much in it, because both fighters have gotten a ton of work done and neither has given an inch here. One more BIG exchange and there's the bell. This is going to be one of those fairly rare even rounds, ladies..."

Tess: "Which leaves Nigri in the lead 20-19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Ladies right back at it, trading some serious leather on Asylum beach, heads snapping back and sand flying as blonde and brunette really get into it out there. GOOD right by Nigri and Bennet responds with one of her own. Crowd again getting into it here in the arena..."

Cassie: "Something going to have to give here..."

O'Dell: "No doubt about it. Too much hard shot landing. Sooner or later and BENNET ROCKS NIGRI! Jessica's legs to a shimmy after a NASTY right hook from the brunette. Chloe now all in and DOWN GOES JESSICA AFTER A STRAIGHT RIGHT HAND! Oh, what a SHOT from Bennet!"

Tess: "That might do it..."

O'Dell: "Chloe to a neutral corner. Jessica down on her back in the sand. Count at three. Four. Five. Nigri rolls to her belly. Six. Seven, Brunette crawling across the sand trying to get to the ropes. Eight. Grabs the bottom rope. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! Jessica just starting to climb the ropes as the count passes her by and it's OVER! And your winner by KO3 is 'The Next Big Thing' Chloe Bennet!"

McCarthy: "Another lucky Front Street win!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go across the street to Cassie Scerbo!"

Cassie: "I have our winner, Chloe Bennet, and, Chloe, just a ton of action in that bout..."

Chloe (smiling): "Yeah. She's a girl who can hit. And, she knows she's not outboxing me. So, I'm not surprised she went for it. She wasn't going to GET it, however."

Cassie: "So, this beach thing. Is this something you might keep doing?"

Chloe (smiling): "Well, I'm not going to step away from going after the bantam gold. But, yeah. This is another avenue for me, and I'm going to explore it."
