BLONDE AMBITION @ THE ASYLUM: A NEW BEGINNING

BEFORE:

"I knew it was only a matter of time until I got management," says Hannah with a smile. "I mean, with the talent and body I have? JMD won't be the only title I win. But, I WILL win that one."

"Hannah's definitely got the tools for JMD," Sophie admits. "But, she's about to find out that my toolbox is pretty full, too."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Aspect' by the lovely blonde coming to the ring right now, the Lioness Club's Hannah Palmer!"

McCarthy: "I'm hearing all about how great this girl's body is. Well, all I know is that she's never going to get the cover of 'Playboy', let alone MULTIPLE covers of 'Playboy'..."

Cassie: "HERE we go..."

McCarthy: "SHUT UP, SCABBO!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Palmer into the ring, where the Lioness Club corner crew helps her off with the robe, and the crowd CLEARLY likes what it sees of the blonde in that white bikini..."

McCarthy: "She MIGHT get a pictorial, but not a centerfold or cover..."

O'Dell: "Aaaannnnddd that's 'Hotter Than Hell' by Dua Lipa you hear behind us, and here comes 'Sultry' Sophie Mudd!"

Tess: "Mudd, of course, getting a major JMD push from Front Street right now, and she's also moved up the bantamweight rankings nicely..."

Cassie: "Correct. Lots of options for Sophie, and tonight's fight will help us in deciding which direction to go."

O'Dell: "Mudd into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve, and the crowd popping again for Sophie in that Egyptian blue number we've seen before. Ladies about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Sophie. Mac?"

McCarthy: "This Palmer kid has some FCBA wins. I think she'll beat the Dancing Hooker!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Here we go. Ladies wasting no time getting after it. Blonde and brunette meeting in the center of the ring and banging away and the crowd LOVING it! And Mudd starting to back up Palmer early. Hannah being forced to back and cover by some serious fire from Sophie..."

McCarthy: "Watch low blows from Mudd. Campbell trains her..."

O'Dell: "Sophie working mostly upstairs right now. She's hooking some rib, hooking some rack, but mostly just to keep the blonde honest. The effort is to the head, and it's working very, very well. Hannah can't hold canvas right now, as Mudd's having things her own way..."

Cassie: "Sophie very sound here, though. Not getting sloppy..."

O'Dell: "She most definitely is not. There's a SOLID right from Mudd that backed up Palmer. Hannah clinching no as the final seconds tick away here in the first. Sophie shoving off, working some body, and there's the bell. It's Mudd and wide in the opening stanza..."

Tess: "And Sophie takes the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second underway with Mudd aggressive, working forward against the blonde. Hannah giving some ground and ROCKING SOPHIE WITH A RIGHT HAND COUNTER! A BEAUTIFUL right from Palmer and Mudd is HURT! Hannah quickly going to the offensive now..."

McCarthy: "Set up punches and take her out of there!"

O'Dell: "That's the blonde's plan...the 'take her out of there' part, because Hannah's winging away effectively with both hands, battering Sophie back into the ropes and now GOING RACK IN A BIG WAY! Palmer PUNISHING jug now, as Mudd hangs on in a high guard..."

Tess: "Ref looking in very closely..."

O'Dell: "Definitely is as we roll into the final half minute of the round. Mudd tying up, holding on, Palmer STACKING her against the ropes and landing a GOOD right to the head, then going back to jug mugging. Mudd clinches again. Ref going to break them and there's the bell! Huge round for Palmer, who grabs it wide..."

Cassie: "And we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Palmer the one working forward now as the third begins. Mudd still a little wobbly, and the blonde taking advantage. She's sitting down on punches, hooking some body and some rack, but mostly working upstairs and she looks to finish, and, failing that, effect a solid cleanup..."

Cassie: "Sophie able to counter some in retreat..."

O'Dell: "Indeed, and, as the round goes on, the brunette seeming to shake most of the damage. She's giving as good as she gets now, exchanging sharply with the blonde. Hannah still aggressive, but playing this intelligently, not going to walk into something stupid at this point."

McCarthy: "Palmer just needs to keep after this Dancing Hooker..."

O'Dell: "And, that's what she's doing. Neither fighter giving a lot of quarter right now. They're continuing to trade some solid shot as we head into the last ten seconds of the round. SERIOUS exchange right there, with both fighters landing a hard right hand, and there's the bell. Fairly close, but Palmer."

Tess: "And, Hannah pulls into the 29-28 lead."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Ladies back to work and right back at one another in the fourth. Blonde and brunette committing on punches, looking to take command here. Good right from Hannah and Sophie responds with one of her own. No backdown in either of these fighters, and that's no surprise at JMD..."

Tess: "And, both have shown they can take a punch in this one..."

O'Dell: "Sure have, because tons of heavy leather has been exchanged and THERE'S A RIGHT FROM MUDD AND PALMER IS HURT! Hannah GOBSMACKED and Mudd all OVER the blonde, thumping rack and then DROPPING HANNAH WITH A RIGHT UPPERCUT!"

Cassie: "Got her crouching and made her pay for it!"

O'Dell: "Sophie to a neutral corner. Hannah on her back staring up at the referee. Count at three. Four. Five. Palmer rolling to her right side at six. Seven. Eight. Not going to happen. Nine. TEN! The count passes the blonde by and it's OVER! And your winner by KO4 is 'Sultry' Sophie Mudd!"

McCarthy: "Lucky!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Sophie Mudd, and, Sophie, very physical, as you had to expect..."

Sophie (nodding): "That's what JMD is. It's about getting physical, about taking the fight to your opponent. And, I've always been pretty good at that, so, I'm pretty good at JMD."

Tess: "Your name's been bandied about for a potential JMD title shot..."

Sophie (smiling): "Well, that's not something I can control. All I can do is take care of business in the ring, just like I did tonight."
