WITCHES, PUMPKINHEADS & BLACK CATS X: HALLOWEEN @ THE ASYLUM

BEFORE:

"In the FCBA," says Allison with a shake of the head, "It's about opportunities. I haven't gotten them, because my management collapsed. This girl has been lucky. She's getting everything handed to her. Well. I'M going to hand her something tonight. Her HEAD."

"It's cute that Allison thinks she's going to do anything but LOSE tonight," says Olivia with a smile. "She's going to be soooo disappointed when I take her out of there..."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Hallelujah', WRITTEN by the great Leonard Cohen..."

Cassie: "And, before Mac starts making an idiot of herself, that is NOT Cohen's version you're hearing behind us..."

McCarthy: "You LITTLE..."

O'Dell: "It is NOT. It's a cover version by the lovely young lady coming to the ring right now, the star of 'Get Out' and 'The Perfection', Allison Williams!"

McCarthy: "Who is a typical Dancing Hooker opponent with NO FCBA wins!"

O'Dell: "Allison into the ring and helped off with the robe to reveal a floral number and a body that's got the crowd popping. And, that's 'good 4 u' you hear hammering through the arena, and here comes the singer of that tune, 'The Murrieta Mauler', Olivia Rodrigo!"

Tess: "And, Rodrigo is the REASON List is at the bottom of the bantamweight division at Front Street. Olivia not just undefeated in her Front Street career, but undefeated in the FCBA at the moment."

O'Dell: "Rodrigo into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve to reveal that Persian blue number she likes...and the crowd may like it more. Ladies about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Olivia. Mac?"

McCarthy: "NO FCBA wins. Rodrigo."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Unanimous again, and Williams quickly out to prove the ladies wrong, as she gets off a quick combination, slips a rejoinder and circles away. Rodrigo likes to stick and move, too, so that's definitely what we're expecting to see here, but, at the moment, it's the older woman getting the better of things."

McCarthy: "Williams showing more aggression right now , and that's the difference."

O'Dell: "Is at the moment, as Allison's beating the younger woman to both spots and punches. Olivia not able to get off much. She's scoring when she does, but it's not nearly enough to offset the work Williams is doing. Allison another combination, forces Olivia to cover up..."

Cassie: "Williams a girl who's always had the tools. She just hasn't gotten chances..."

O'Dell: "She's getting one now, and she's taking advantage of it, all while taking the fight to the younger brunette. Rodrigo's head SNAPPED BACK with a solid right hand coming behind a nice left jab and there's the bell ending what was an EXCELLENT first round for Allison Williams, who takes it wide."

Tess: "And grabs the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Into the second and Rodrigo a little more aggressive now. She's snapping that long left jab out, following with right hands. But, Williams not going to be thrown to the defensive. Allison clearly here to fight, and she's not going to be slowed down here..."

Tess: "And, the result is a TON of action."

O'Dell: "Sure is. Neither brunette willing to let the other fight lead, so some serious leather is flying around in there. Nobody's hurt, but everybody's getting touched up, as both fighters land punches in bunches at the moment. NICE trade right there and Williams got the better of it."

McCarthy: "Just keep after the Dancing Hooker and you'll beat her!"

Tess: "Didn't you PICK RODRIGO?"

McCarthy: "SHUT UP, WALMART!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys as we head full tilt into the final twenty seconds of this stanza. Brunettes going at one another hard. Ton of movement from both. Lots of leather going out and back and not a ton in it. Final seconds tick away. GOOD right from Rodrigo and there's the bell. Close. Olivia."

Cassie: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "More of the same in round three. Both ladies busy, working the feet and the hands. Lots of movement, head, hands, feet. Excellent offense from both brunettes, but some good defense here, too, Mac, as lots of punches are landing, but plenty are being slipped and blocked."

McCarthy: "Nobody getting sloppy, that's for sure."

O'Dell: "They are not. But both working hard on the move. Lots of leather flying, as, for the second round in a row, neither brunette will let the other fight lead. Instead it's back and forth stuff, with Rodrigo and Williams both scoring very well and not a lot in it in this round, either."

Cassie: "I'm going to say again how impressed I am with Williams. Olivia's a top prospect in the FCBA, and Allison is hanging right with her."

O'Dell: "That she is as we come down the stretch of round three. SHARP exchange there and both heads snapped back. ANOTHER and ANOTHER. Nobody going to let anybody steal the points in this one as they wing away right to the bell. There it is! Close again. Olivia."

Tess: "And Rodrigo pulls into the 29-28 lead."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth begins the same way the third ended. Both ladies moving, throwing leather, and WILLIAMS LANDS A SOLID RIGHT HAND! That got Rodrigo's attention and now Allison all in here! Older brunette trying to press the advantage. She's backing Rodrigo up with heavy leather..."

Tess: "Olivia not wobbly, but might be a little buzzed here."

O'Dell: "Or a little spooked. Either way, she's on the defensive in a major way as Williams gets off with both hands, driving her back into the ropes and then doing some body work. Olivia tying up. She'll get a break, and she gets moving, giving ground as Allison pours forward."

McCarthy: "Williams needs to keep after her."

O'Dell: "That's what she's doing. Rodrigo able to fire back a little more now as the round winds down. Ten seconds to go. Good exchange there and Olivia lands her best punch of the round, but it's far too little, far too late. There's the bell, and Williams has taken the fourth wide."

Cassie: "Evening us up at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Williams aggressive early. She's looking to consolidate the gains from last round. Rodrigo snapping out that jab, following with right hands, giving as good as she gets here. Both fighters trying to remain on the offensive, while both continue playing solid defense."

Cassie: "Olivia's gotten back on track here."

O'Dell: "Definitely has, and we've returned to the terms the ladies were fighting on in the second and third. Both moving well, getting to spots, getting off, and RODRIGO STAGGERS WILLIAMS! Olivia with a PERFECTLY PLACED right hand! Allison covering up and DROPPED WITH A RIGHT HOOK!"

McCarthy: "GET UP, WILLIAMS! GET UP!"

O'Dell: "Rodrigo to a neutral corner. Allison down on her right side. Count at three. Four. Five. Williams rolling to her belly at six. Seven. She's up to hands and knees at eight. Trying to get to her feet and nine...DROPPING BACK TO HER KNEES! TEN! It's OVER! Allison can't beat the count and it's OVER! And your winner by KO5 is 'The Murrieta Mauler', Olivia Rodrigo!"

Tess: "Like I said. SHE'S the reason List is at the bottom of the Front Street bantamweight division."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Olivia Rodrigo, and, Olivia, another win for you. That's ten in a row to start the career and six straight at Front Street..."

Olivia: "Thanks, Tess, but I want to give some credit to Allison for a minute. She's definitely a good fighter and gave me some problems in there. So, yeah. Big win for me, and I'll get better because of it."

Tess: "Peyton pointed out that there are still a couple of months left in the year and she wants to get back in the ring again. How about you?"

Olivia (smiling): "Absolutely. I want as much action as I can get, so, hopefully, we're talking again next month or in December."
