WITCHES, PUMPKINHEADS & BLACK CATS X: HALLOWEEN @ THE ASYLUM

BEFORE:

"I know the plan here," says Ashley with a smile. "I've been in a slump, so bring me in as an opponent for Bennet as they start pushing her on the beach. Well, the problem with that plan is, the slump ends. Tonight."

"Ashley's legit, no doubt about that," says Chloe. "But. I'll say again. Tonight, she's in against the best bantamweight on the planet."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and the giant screen still lowered over the ring as we're going right back to Asylum Beach across the street. And, that's 'Ain't It Fun' by Paramore you hear behind us, and onto the beach comes the star of, among other horror films, 'The Apparition', Ashley Greene!"

McCarthy: "Greene is an actual REAL fighter, so I'm not sure how she slipped onto the card here..."

O'Dell: "Ashley climbing through the ropes. Helped off with the robe to reveal that black number we've seen before, and it's getting quite the pop from the crowd. And, that's..."

McCarthy: "HORRIBLE! AWFUL! TERRIBLE! AN ASSAULT ON MY OLFACTION!"

Cassie: "I'm seriously thinking about asking Uncle Wiz to change the theme song...or the truck to send white noise into Mac's headset..."

Tess: "Do you think we could beam some actual SENSE into it?"

Cassie: "In one ear and out the other, BFF. In one ear and out the other..."

McCarthy: "SHUT UP, BOTH OF YOU!"

O'Dell (sighing): "The song in question is 'Uh Oh', and it's by the lovely lady coming onto the sand right now, former Unified Bantamweight Champion, Chloe Bennet. Chloe through the ropes and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing that blue number we've seen before and looking plenty good in it if the crowd's reaction is any indication. Ladies about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Chloe. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Greene HAS FCBA wins. She'll get another!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "There's the bell. Brunettes doing some feeling out early. Both ladies moving the feet, working the jabs, probing cautiously, looking for openings. Bennet's been known to get very aggressive early, even against top opponents, but that's apparently not the plan tonight..."

McCarthy: "If I were Greene, I'd go right at her and force this..."

O'Dell: "Not Ashley's plan, at least for the moment. Both brunettes showing plenty of respect for one another, which might be a pretty good idea, as both have quite a bit of power for this weight. SHARP exchange there, as both fighters land a solid right hand, but we're right back to the war of movement..."

Tess: "If this comes down to boxing, I don't see Greene winning..."

O'Dell: "Won't be easy against a boxer like Chloe, but it's early and doing some solid recon now can help later, especially with the ladies on a surface they don't fight on every day. We're down under ten seconds in the first. Another flurry that sees both fighters score and there's the bell. Close. Greene."

Cassie: "And Ashley grabs the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins and HERE'S some of that aggression from Greene. She's stepping to now, backing up Bennet, committing on punches here. She's put the former champ on the back foot, and she's keeping her there with hard, accurate fire at the moment..."

Cassie: "Expected Greene to start committing reserves first. She's got a LOT more beach experience than Chloe..."

O'Dell: "And, she's using it to good effect now, forcing Bennet to back and cover again and again. Chloe countering here and there, but it's definitely Ashley who's fighting lead and getting much the better of things at the moment. GOOD right hand from Greene backs Bennet up again..."

McCarthy: "JUST like I said. Go AFTER her and FORCE this."

O'Dell: "Down under twenty seconds. Bennet continuing to retreat across the sand as Greene steps to behind the left jab, lands solid right hands. This has been an excellent round for Ashley. Final seconds tick away and there's the bell. Greene and wide in round two."

Tess: "And she's extended her lead to 20-18."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third underway and Ashley looking to continue working forward but Chloe having none of it. Bennet firing right back, stopping Greene in her tracks and HERE WE GO! Hammer and tongs on the beach! Leather and sand flying as the brunettes GETTING AFTER IT!"

Tess: "And some BIG punches landing right now!"

O'Dell: "And nobody backing down! There are some BOMBS being exchanged in there! Both fighters determined to fight lead at the moment, and neither willing to allow that to happen. GOOD right from Bennet and a BETTER one from Greene! What a round!"

McCarthy: "Something's got to give at some point!"

O'Dell: "But, maybe not in this stanza. We're down under fifteen seconds. ANOTHER sharp exchange there! Both fighters landing some good shots. Bennet backs Greene up with a right hand, does it again and there's the bell! Ladies stare and then exchange a smile! What a round! Close. Chloe."

Cassie: "And Ashley's lead is cut to one, 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth underway and they're right back at it! Ladies meet in the middle of the sand and let the hands go! Nothing sloppy here. Good defense being played and the punches are being set up, but both brunettes sitting down on everything, determined to impose will..."

Cassie: "More power punches have landed in these two rounds than land in a lot of entire fights."

O'Dell: "No doubt about it, and more heavy leather flying along with the sand. RIGHT HAND, BENNET and THAT HURT ASHLEY! Greene wobbled and DROPPED WITH A RIGHT HOOK! A short right hook from Chloe and Greene crashes face first to the sand!"

Tess: "That might be it..."

O'Dell: "Chloe to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Ashley trying to push up to hands and knees. Six. Seven. Eight. Greene on all fours at nine. TEN! It's over! Ashley can't get off the sand and it's OVER! And your winner by KO4 is 'The Next Big Thing', Chloe Bennet!"

McCarthy: "Lucky!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go across the street to Asylum Beach and Cassie Scerbo!"

Cassie: "I have our winner, Chloe Bennet, and, Chloe, TONS of action in this one!"

Chloe (smiling): "Definitely got after me. And, as you know, I'm more than willing to play that game if you want to play it. You won't like how it comes out though. You won't like it at all."

Cassie (smiling): "So, how do you like this beach thing?"

Chloe (laughing): "I like it a lot. It's a different direction for me, and it's one I want to pursue in addition, of course, to the bantamweight gold."
