BEFORE:

"It's been a while for me," Jordana admits. "But, I can still fight. And, I'm going to prove that tonight."

"She's a veteran," says Peyton with a nod. "She's got a lot more experience than I do, so this will be a challenge. But, I'm up for it. I'll meet it. And, I'll get the win."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Little Red Corvette' by Prince, and here comes one of the FCBA's biggest fans of the purple one and the star of 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning', Jordana Brewster!"

McCarthy: "This kid hasn't won a fight in a decade. She's typical Front Street cannon fodder!"

O'Dell: "Jordana into the ring and helped off with the robe, and she's looking PLENTY good in that red and pink striped number she likes...."

O'Dell: "And, that's 'Cherry Licorice' by the Felice Brothers, and here comes 'The Cobra', Peyton List!"

Tess: "List a big win last time out at Asylum. She's done well since coming to Front Street, but she needs to keep getting results, because she's at the bottom of a deep bantamweight division..."

O'Dell: "Peyton into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve to reveal that baby blue number she likes, and the crowd clearly likes it, too. And, we're about ready for some picks. Tess likes Peyton. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Cannon. Fodder. List."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Unanimous in the first and List immediately to the jab. She knows Jordana's reputation as a girl who likes to get after it early, and with not much to lose tonight, that has to be what the blonde is expecting, so she's working that left, keeping it in the older woman's face..."

Tess: "Definitely a smart start for List."

O'Dell: "And, the blonde very, very active with the left. She's not giving Brewster any time to breathe here. Just popping that left over and over again, dropping right hands in behind it. And, Peyton HAS the range, there's no doubt about that, ladies. She's landing a HIGH percentage..."

McCarthy: "Brewster needs to move the feet and the hands more."

O'Dell: "Definitely a bit of a stationary target right now, but I'm sure the veteran will make some adjustments there. We're down under fifteen to go in the first. NICE combination by Peyton and there's the bell. Not going to be any doubt about this one. List and wide."

Cassie: "And, Peyton grabs the early 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "And, Brewster has made some adjustments as we start the second. She's angling, moving the feet, coming forward, crowing Peyton. All of a sudden, the brunette is in the blonde's grill, letting her have it inside with both hands. This is the kind of aggression we were talking about in the first..."

McCarthy: "This is ALWAYS how you beat a Front Street fighter. Just get after them. Don't let the hometown ref steal it from you!"

O'Dell: "List definitely out of sorts right now. She's giving ground here, trying to get back on track, but Brewster using those veteran wiles very well. She's got Peyton out of her comfort zone, and she's going to keep her there. Brunette working some body now, hooking ribs before going back upstairs."

Cassie: "List tying up, Jenny."

O'Dell: "Looking to slow this down some, but Jordana shoving off, going right back to work. It's been an excellent round for Brewster and she's going to be sorry to hear the bell ring. And, there it is after another solid flurry from the brunette. No doubt again. Jordana and wide."

McCarthy: "And we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Into the third now, and it's all about the terms. Brewster wants to pressure here, get in List's face, get physical with her. Peyton wants space, wants to use that long left to set up opportunities for combinations. And, right now, both fighters getting some, but not enough of what they want..."

Cassie: "Peyton just needs to stick with what she's doing."

O'Dell: "And, that's what Neve Campbell is shouting from the corner. Keep working. And, List is doing that. She's giving a little ground in spots, tying up in others, all trying to slow the offensive from the brunette. For her part, Brewster ALSO sticking with it."

McCarthy: "She's in good shape if she does. She can out-physical this girl, even though Brewster's more of a boxer than a slugger."

O'Dell: "Down the stretch in what's been a very competitive third. Good exchange there and List got the better of it, backing the brunette up a step. Five seconds to go. Peyton jabbing. And there's the bell. Close in the third, but it's the blonde who'll grab the points this stanza."

Tess: "And List back to the lead 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth begins like the third ended, ladies working hard to get favorable terms. List popping that left jab, doubling up at times. Brewster angling, using the feet, getting forward as much as she can to work inside, bang to the body, then go upstairs. Good stuff from both blonde and brunette..."

Tess: "And, for the second round in a row, neither fighter getting enough of what she wants."

O'Dell: "But, not through lack of effort. Ton of work being done by both fighters here, but neither able to gain a real advantage for the second consecutive round. Nice combination there by List, but Jordana steps in, hooks the ribs, goes upstairs and lands a nice right hand."

McCarthy: "Ref ought to warn that Dancing Hooker for all that HOLDING she's doing."

O'Dell: "Into the final seconds of a very competitive fourth round. Both fighters staying busy here. Good combination by Brewster. List giving a little ground, then getting off with a nice three-punch flurry at the bell. Close once again in the fourth, but it's Peyton getting the points again."

Cassie: "And the blonde pulls into a two point lead 39-37."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Fifth begins with a NICE flurry from Brewster! Jordana tossing the blonde onto the back foot early here and staying after her. Brunette letting the hands go, backing up the blonde, who's taking some heavy fire right now. Peyton not holding canvas at the moment, ladies..."

McCarthy: "THIS is what I'm saying. Get AFTER those Dancing Hookers!"

O'Dell: "Brewster definitely after the blonde right now, and List doesn't really have an answer at the moment. She's trying to get some space here, but can't do it. Peyton ties up, hangs on, gets a break, but the brunette right back at her, in her grill, banging body in there..."

Cassie: "This is good stuff from Jordana. Again, she's usually a boxer, but she's come in with a different fight plan."

O'Dell: "And, she's executing it well. She's keeping her rival going backward at the moment, and, while Peyton manages to land some solid counters here or there, she's definitely getting the worst of it. Final seconds tick off in the fifth and there's the bell. Not close. Brewster's round."

Tess: "And List's lead is now a single point, 48-47."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Brewster pressing forward to start the second half of this one. List using a drop step, working the left hand, creating some space with the combination of the two. Lot more foot movement from the blonde than we saw in the last round, ladies, and it's made a difference..."

Tess: "Definitely has. Brewster not able to get where she wants to for the moment."

O'Dell: "But, Jordana remaining resolute here. She's going to keep working forward, looking to get physical and take List out of her rhythm. GOOD right hand by Peyton there and THERE'S A RIGHT HOOK AND BREWSTER IS HURT! List letting the hands go and DOWN GOES THE BRUNETTE!"

Cassie: "Two NASTY shots in that combination!"

O'Dell: "Peyton quickly to a neutral corner. Jordana flat on her back in the middle of the ring. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. Jordana rolling to her belly at six. Seven. She's pushing up to knees and forearms at eight. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! Brewster still on the canvas as the count passes her by and it's OVER! And your winner by KO6 is 'The Cobra' Peyton List!"

McCarthy: "Just got lucky, that's all."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Peyton List, and, Peyton, surprised by how physical she got?"

Peyton (shaking her head): "Not at all. She wasn't going to stand and box with me, because she couldn't win that way. That's MY game and I'm better at it than she is. So, she HAD to come after me. But, that wasn't going to work, either."

Tess: "This has been an excellent second year for you at Front Street. What's next?"

Peyton: "Well, we still have a couple of months to go. I'd love to get in the ring one more time before we say goodbye to 2022!"
