BEFORE

Holly is at the podium. Charlize, as usual, is in her dressing room watching Valance of the TV. Holly. “I don’t know Charlize. I have never talked to her or seen her fight in person. I have seen some of her fights that are on tape. I talked with my fellow Aussie, Nicole Kidman, but she is a good friend of Charlize and was not very forthcoming. I know Charlize has great legs, a big right hand and can take a lot of punishment. I also have a big right hand and can take punishment, I just need to take something out of those legs and then I can put her on the canvas for at least the ten count. I will do it and walk away with the win. In her dressing room Charlize comments. “She talks fairly big. Let’s see if she can do it”

THE FIGHT
They meet in the center of the ring for the instructions that Charlize has heard 481 times. Holly is in a blue Bikini with black glove and boots. Her hair is in a bun at the back of her head. Charlize is in her usual red bikini with red gloves and boots. He hair, as is usual, is in a pony tail. They touch gloves and head to their corners

Round 1. At the bell Charlize moves to the center of the ring, but Holly surprises her by moving parallel to the ropes. She wants Theron to come to her, to put some mileage on those legs early. Charlize gets in punching range and pushes our a right jab to Holly’s cheek, but is caught with an overhand right to the forehead. A Theron right cross barely misses Holly’s chin and Holly steps in with a left-right to the midsection. The positions have changed with Theron’s back to the ropes. Valance goes back to Theron’s body. She’s in close, She lands a flurry
of punches to Charlize’s midsection. Theron manages to land a hook to Holly’s chin, but it doesn’t slow down Holly’s body work. Charlize lunges towards Holly and gets in a clinch and holds on until the referee separates them. Charlize immediately moves to the center of the ring. Holly moves in and the two exchange crosses with Holly winning as Charlize staggers back a couple steps. Holly follows right into a Theron left hook. Holly is stopped in her tracks and Charlize goes on the offense as the punches Valance back across the ring She has Valance of the ropes and goes for the KO as the round ends. In Theron’s corner Kate tells her the surge at the end of the round was too little two late Valance had won the round.

Round 2. Charlize is out of her corner ready to follow up on he success at the end of round one. She meets Holly not far out of her corner. She scores with a left jab and follow withe a right cross then a left. Holly manages to score with a straight right to the blonde’s mouth and a left cross that send Charlize back a step. Charlize is right back in with a pair of crosses to the head, a right hook to the chin, an overhand left to the forehead and a right to the face. Charlize has her on he ropes. Holly finally gets her guard up and Charlize goes to the midsection with a left-right. With Theron going to her midsection, Holly manages an overhand right to Theron’s face. Theron goes back to Valance’s head with a pair of crosses. Holly is right back with a left to the side of the head and a right hook to the chin. Holly is on the ropes, but she is giving Charlize as good as she is getting until a Theron left upper cut stuns her. Valance is sagging on ropes with her guard up protecting her face. Charlize then’s start to pound the body then up to the head. Some punches are getting through Holly’s guard catching her on the forehead, then her mouth and finally the chin. Valance is in trouble but the round ends saving her for more punishment, In her corner, Upton tells Theron, “that was much better, You took the round and another round like that and Valance will be toast In Valance’s corner she is told to stay off the ropes and to go back to the body to take away Theron’s legs.

Round 3. Charlize is out to deliver more punishment and set Valance up for the ending. Charlize holding her right low for the knockout punch. Valance sees the right and circles away from Theron. Theron seeing Valance moving away, raises her right and follows Holly. Valance suddenly stop and move towards her opponent, a move Charlize wasn’t expecting. Valance lands pair of crosses to Theron’s head. Theron responds with a pair of hooks. The two are now toe to toe punching away at each other. One staggers and then the other. Valance drops her attack to Charlize’s body. Punch’s start ravaging Charlize’s body as Holly drives her back to the ropes. Holly is punching away trying to have Charlize try to punch back opening a chance to get to her chin but Charlize keeps her guard up Valance scores a punch of points to win the round. In Theron’s corner Kate asks “what happened. In round two you had her set up and what do you do? You loose it and also the round. You’re behind now

Round 4. Valance is determined to follow up on her third round success. She meets the blonde near Theron’s corner. A fake draws Theron’s gloves up and Holly goes to the body with left and rights to the midsection with a occasional right to the face to keep Therons guard up. Theron manages an occasional punch and Holly makes her pay with a harder punch to the body. Valance then moves up and targets Theron’s bra. She can tell the punches are hurting Theron. Charlize desperately drops her guard to protect her chest and Valance goes lower sending punches into the solar plexus. She’s beating the breath from her opponent. Charlize’s hands have dropped to her waist and Holly steps back to load up to deliver a knockout punch. She waits too long and Charlize manages to turn her back to Holly. Valance manages a couple punches to Theron’s mid-back and the referee steps in to look at Theron’s eyes and that she can continue, The bell seems to save the blonde. In Theron’s corner, Kate Upton tells her “that was one of the worst rounds I have seen. You could see the judges laughing. Now use those legs and take the next round off and recover some. We got six rounds to go if you last that long”

Round 5. At the bell, Holly is quickly out to the center of the ring ready to fight, but Charlize is moving slowly parallel to the ropes. Holly realizes Theron doesn’t want to fight. She is going to have to chase her down any maybe trap her In a corner. Charlize has been in this position a number of times in her long career. She knows what to do. As Valance moves, Charlize changes direction. One minutes goes by and not a punch is thrown. The crowd is getting edgy. Theron doesn’t care. She needs more time to recover. Valance wants to fight. She is getting frustrated with Theron’s running away from her. Finally after two minutes Charlize stops running and turns towards Holly moves towards her with a left and right cross and then moves away Valance follows and then Charlize again changes direction and the whole farce starts again as the round ends. In Theron’s corner, Kate tells her “that was a good job. You should be recovered and Valance is confused and frustrated. Now is the time.

Round 6. At the bell Charlize surprises Holly as coming straight out toward her with determined look on her face. Chalize is going to fight rather than run. That’s what Holly wants. Holly pushes out a jab, but Theron simply knocks it way and delivers an overhand right to her head. Theron is in high gear now. A right slams into Holly’s right cheek, then a left lands. Holly tries to get her guard right, but Theron goes payback with a pair of overhand blows to her chest. Theron’s right then sinks into Valance’s solar plexus and a left uppercut straighten her up. Kate knew what was coming. A Theron right that started at her hip takes it’s body twisting journey and connects with Holly’s chin. Theron casually walks to her corner to watch the count. Valance is not completely out. She manages to get to her hands and knees, but that is as far as she gets when the count reaches ten.

AFTER
Holly and Charlize are at the press table. Holly is asked what she now thinks of Charlize. She says “You look at Charlize on paper, Well she is old enough to be a lot of fighter’s mother. You look at her losses. She has lost almost three times more fights than I have had. Not impressive. Then you look at the number of wins and who she has beaten and you realize why she is called the GOAT. The one thing no one thinks about when you look at that amazing record of wins is all that experience. I honestly think that all that experience is what beat me tonight. Charlize “Holly maybe right. Tonight it wasn’t all talent that won, but 24 years experience counts. She gave me some very bad rounds tonight but somehow I managed to last. I just had to win in the sixth. I just couldn’t take another between round sessions with Kate Upton
