Intro:
Next up in Boston's TD Garden Arena we see two models battle. Sports Illustrated Hilary Rhoda takes on Victoria Secrets Adriana Lima. Both are former world champions seeking to scale back to the mountain top after a rough 2023.

In the backstage are as shown on the FCBA Network, interviewer Alicia Atout first spoke to Hilary. Who wore a white blouse, blue denim jeans and black shoes as she looks serious. Hilary telling Alicia "I am getting sick of losing. Losing to Alice (Goodwin) a few weeks ago hurt as I know I am better then her."

Looking up to the ceiling, Hilary shakes her head before looking back at the interviewer. She says "now Adriana wants a crack at me. Look I know her thru Alessandra (Ambrosio) but that doesn't mean we are friends. I respect what she has done but I am not in the mood for fun and games, it's time I take back my career." Marching off towards her locker room.

Adriana on the other hand wears a figure hugging black dress with matching heels. Hands on her hips as she smirks towards the camera. She tells Alicia "look Alessandra is my best friend so I hope she doesn't hold it against me what I do to Hilary. People seem to forget what I can do, all the titles I have won and my legacy that will never be anything but golden." Blowing a kiss to the camera before she heads off.

Fighting time! First to walk out is Hilary with her coach Rebecca Romjin. Hilary tapping her white gloves together as she looks focused. Soon enough she steps into the ring wearing a white sports bra with black trim, matching trunks and shoes, hair tied into a ponytail. She gets a quick hug from Rebecca before she stares across the ring with laser focus to where her opponent will be in a few moments.

Adriana not making her wait as she struts down the aisle like she is on one of the main catwalks she has walked around the world. She is wearing a black sports bra and shoes, black trunks with her surname on the waistband in gold letters, black gloves with gold thumbs and her hair is braided. Adriana speaks to her coach Kelly Carlson as Adriana looks relaxed.

Both women walk to the middle of the ring for the face off. Eyes locked as the referee finishes their instructions. They shake their arms before a quick touch of gloves is exchanged. Walking back to their corners as they take a breath before the bell rings to start 10 rounds of 130lbs catch-weight action.

Round 1:
The early going sees as many clashes of their gloves as they land flush. Feeling each other out as there is a level of respect here. Adriana starts to dig away more at the torso of Hilary as she moves in closer, getting clipped around her head in response till they both separate to work again on the outside.

Adriana uses a feint to get a read on her opponent. Dipping under a straight to bury in a right to the abs of Hilary. She then lands a left/right hook combo up top as Rhoda finds herself being backed up. Onto the ropes goes the American as Lima looks to show her muscle to pin her down and work the body.

Pushing Adriana off; Hilary gets in some nice shots as she moves around the ring. Adriana though isn't letting her get much breathing room. A right cross smacks into the face of Hilary to open her up to a left hook on her cheek. Adriana has Hilary covering up more tight untill the round ends. Adriana getting a loud cheer from her supporters as she raises her arms in the air while returning to her corner. Clearly hoping to attack the confidence of Hilary.

Round 2:
Hilary comes out more aggressive behind her jab as she throws straights while stepping into them. Adriana looking to keep on the move and to box around her opponent. Hilary nodding to Adriana to show her respect before she looks land a double jab into the chest of Lima.

They exchange with Adriana finding herself being kept near the ropes. Hilary holding the middle as they both are opening up. A straight catches Adriana to her nose to make the Brazilian cover up. Hilary pushing her to the ropes to look to land a flurry as she switched up her targets.

Pushing Hilary off her as she now looks to fight back. Both trading in close range as the crowd can see the muscles on each toned fighters body tensing up. Grunts and groans heard up until the bell rings to end the round. Both glaring at each other before they turn to return to their corners.

Round 3:
Both are pushing the pace up a notch, on their toes around the middle of the ring trading flurries. Adriana lands a straight onto the chin of her foe before stepping in closer to land a left/right hook combo under the ribs of Hilary to make the American groan as she backs off.

It's now Lima's turn to show how she can hold onto the middle of the ring. She is slamming in several punches around the body of Rhoda. Who fires back over the top to the face of Adriana when she sees openings. It is Adriana though landing more punches in bunches between them.

Late in the round Hilary lands a jab on the forehead of Adriana. She starts to come back at her with short hooks. Adriana firing back but she is covering up more as they head into the final seconds. The bell dings with both marching back to their corners. Adriana not looking so cocky now even though she looked on top for a good portion of the round. Hilary is motivated tonight to prove herself.

Round 4:
Resuming with more stiffer punches being exchanged as they dig their toes into the canvas. Hilary manages to catch Adriana with a double jab on her nose to make the Brazilian beauty grimace and back off. Hilary stepping in after with a straight to the chest as she looks to push back her foe.

Adriana soon has a cut on the bridge of her nose from a straight on it. Making her think about things as Hilary is pushing her around the perimeter of the ring. Both exchanging but it's Hilary now outworking her opponent. Keeping Adriana from being able to get much of a rhythm.

But late in the round Adriana reminds her foe of her abilities as she deflects a jab to land one of her own, followed by an uppercut to make Hilary back off. Adriana now muscling her back to the ropes as Hilary shells up. The round comes to a close with Hilary getting a nod from Rebecca. Adriana meanwhile taps her toes as she sits on her stool.

Round 5:
Adriana pushing off her stool as she is looking to get into the face of Hilary. They exchange in tight with Adriana digging her fists just above the waistband of Hilary's trunks. Adriana ends up muscling back her rival to the ropes. Adriana swinging over the top with hooks until she is held onto by Hilary to force the referee to get involved.

They are back at it with Hilary stabbing her punches around the nose trying to hold her off. Adriana hisses out with each clean hit. Adriana dips under a right to land a right into the body of Hilary before landing an overhand left to her jaw to twist her head around.

Hilary finding herself herded back into a neutral corner. Adriana stretching her elbows to throw hooks, looking to batter Hilary into submission. Hilary throws back till she can grab hold of her opponent in a tight clinch. Both are soaked in sweat as the referee breaks them up. The bell rings moments later with Adriana getting told "good job" from Kelly. While Hilary takes a deep breath to keep herself calm as she sits and stares across the ring at her opponent. Both want to win this fight badly as they have their fists tightly clenched.

Round 6:
Early heated exchanges between the fighters. A straight lands flush on the nose of Adriana to stop her in her tracks for a moment. Hilary uses the time to land a left hook on the temple of Lima to make her stumble two steps to the left. That shot looks to have shook up Adriana as she tries to get her gloves back up. HILARY SMACKS HER FLUSH WITH A RIGHT HOOK TO SEND ADRIANA DOWN TO HER RIGHT SIDE!

Hilary stares down at Adriana with her hands on her hips before the referee nudges her to the neutral corner. 1....2....3... Adriana groans as she turns to her front. 4....5....6... Crawling to the ropes as she shows her fighting spirit, grabbing onto them to start dragging herself up. 7....8.... On her feet gets Adriana with a little wobble to her legs. She assures the referee she can fight on, they ask for her to raise her gloves, which she does so.

They are told to fight on with blood dripping from the cut down the end of Adriana's nose to her boobs. Hilary now showing any mercy as Adriana is trying to fight back but she hasn't much sting to her shots. A straight lands on her nose again to make Lima yelp out as she is soon forced to the ropes. PUNCHES SLAM FLUSH INTO THE FACE OF LIMA! WHO SAGS INTO THE ROPES AND IN COMES THE TOWEL FROM HER CORNER! REFEREE SEES IT AND STOPS THE FIGHT!

Winner Hilary Rhoda TKO Round 6

After:
"Stay in your own lane Adriana and don't think you can beat me" snarls Hilary at Adriana. Who tries to stare defiantly at her but is being held up it seems by the ropes as she has her right arm hooking over the top rope to stand.

Hilary walks back to her corner and looks like a weight has been taken from her shoulders after her run of bad results. Rebecca wipes her down after removing her blood stained gloves. Hilary still has a glare aimed at Adriana as she clearly feels disrespected that she would be challenged by the lightweight to a fight.

While Adriana showed that fighting spirit that has made her a legend. She needs helped to her stool so she can be patched up. Adriana looks ready to scream to the heavens in frustration at losing this bout. She looked good through the fight but couldn't stop Hilary from getting into her rhythm. The cut on her nose was arguably the biggest turning point.

Adriana remains sitting as Hilary walks up to get her left arm raised in victory. Adriana not showing much respect to the winner as she stares hard at her before she leaves with help from Kelly. Hilary staring daggers at her when she leaves to show these two won't be friends any time soon.

With the beaten fighter shaking her head as she heads to the backstage area. Obviously not happy with the result and maybe herself. Kelly telling her that this result means nothing but evidently that's not how Adriana feels about it at this exact moment.

In the ring Hilary says to the camera "look you can keep writing me off and I'll keep coming back. I am going to be a world champion again one day and I will reach one hundred fights." Before she heads out the ring. Making it clear that she is as motivated as she has ever been in her career.
