Intro:
We kick off tonights action in the TD Garden with a heated rematch between Isabela Merced and Cierra Ramirez. This is the fourth time these two rivals have met in the ring. Both women hoping to make 2024 the year they walk out with a title.

They first clashed back in 2020. Isabela won the first clash by knocking out Cierra in the sixth round. After that though Cierra came roaring back with a knockout victory of her own. That last bout was back in 2021 and Isabela beat down Cierra to take the lead in the rivalry, after four years how much has changed? Beyond Isabela not being known as moner but now Merced.

Both exchanged words over social media after the fight was agreed by their managers. Isabela tells her fans "this has been a long time coming, I knew Cierra would want to try to even the score. What took you so long bytch! Last year wasn't my year but getting to beat down Ramirez is always a bonus."

Cierra replies "keep talking you bytch. Talking a big game for someone who wouldn't give me a rematch till you are on the ropes in your career. I am going to knock you out and show the world you are never going to be an elite fighter like me!"

With more trash talking between them. A stake is wagered as they agree that the loser will be striped of their gloves for the winner to take. Wanting a trophy to hold over their rival and prove they are the superior woman.

Fight Night! First out is Isabela with her coach Daisy Fuentes to her right side. Isabela is wearing a black bikini with matching gloves, hair tied into a ponytail. Isabela climbs into the ring with an ice cold stare aimed at the aisle she just walked down. Daisy telling her to keep her focus and outbox her foe once again.

Roslyn Sanchez leads Cierra out to the ring as Cierra has a tense look as she has her red gloves clenched tight. She has a red bikini on with her hair tied into a ponytail too. She climbs through the ropes into the ring with her eyes locked onto her opponent, who stares back as intensely.

The fighters walk to the middle of the ring with the referee holding them back. They cool off enough to listen to their instructions. Neither shows the other respect, they simply walk back to their corners ready for the bell ringing to start 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
Out their corners both come looking venomously from behind their guard. Both exchanging around the middle of the ring as they look to knock their rival back. Cierra banging away in close till she is nudged back and takes two punch combos into her face as their battle of styles is on show already.

In the second minute Cierra dips under a straight to land a right into her opponents stomach. Overhand left follows before an uppercut to knock back Isabela to her heels. Isabela finding herself being pounded around her torso as Cierra has her head down working away in tight to her rival.

Isabela needing to pull Cierra into a front headlock under her right arm. Referee splits them apart with Cierra having the bit between her teeth as she wants to get back at her opponent. Isabela catching her opponent coming in with a double jab square to her face. Isabela finishes the round off strong as Cierra is coming in too open. The bell ringing to end the round with Cierra jogging back to her corner looking fired up.

Round 2:
Isabela comes out now looking to double up her jab while moving to the left side of Cierra. With Ramirez dipping down to land around the torso of Merced but she can't stop Isabela nudging her back and firing straight shots into the forehead of Cierra.

A straight catches Cierra coming in on her nose. That makes Cierra cover up more tightly, allowing Isabela to work more freely. Cierra trying to land back in return, problem for her is Isabela is in full flow now with short hooks to the body behind her straight shots.

Late in the round Cierra catches Isabela with a short left hook over the top. She charges inside to force the issue. Both slugging it out on the inside to the delight of the crowd. The round ends with both pushing apart. Isabela looks relaxed as she sits on her stool, Cierra meanwhile tapping her toes as she sits.

Round 3:
Both push off their stools to resume behind stiff jabs. Isabela is still up on her toes looking to keep Cierra to the outside. Cierra tapping her gloves at times as she is trying to close the distance, showing a little frustration. Cierra is able to land a few solid body shots but she is being clipped around her head by short hooks to try to ward her off.

An uppercut catches out Cierra as she tries to step in close. Isabela landing a follow up jab/right hook to the face of Ramirez to force her to back up. Cierra being forced around near the ropes, trying to not be pinned down. She is being outworked by Merced.

Under a minute to go; Cierra trying to swing back. A few strikes land on the cheeks of Isabela to make her move back. They go toe to toe at times as Cierra looks to push the pace up a notch. Isabela still landing too many clean shots through the mitts of Cierra to her face as Roslyn looks annoyed by how things are going for her fighter.

The bell rings to end proceedings with both women exchanging heated words till the referee nudges them back to their corners. They stare angrily at each other from their stools as they are wiped down. Roslyn telling Cierra to pull her finger out as she isn't happy with her being kept at range too much for her liking.

Round 4:
Getting out her corner with more aggression. Cierra using little nudges to force back Isabela. They trade in close as Isabela finds herself near the ropes, needing to plant her feet more to add power to her own shots. She is playing Cierra's game though, leading to an uppercut catching Isabela out now as it snaps her head back.

Pinning back Merced into a neutral corner, Ramirez is pounding her with hooks to the body and over the top. Isabela forced to have to grab hold of her. Once apart Isabela is back up on her toes looking to use space to work. Cierra staying as close as she can while they trade stiff shots.

Heading into the end of the round; Cierra stabs a jab into the chest of Isabela to open her up to a right hook on her cheek. Cierra pins her down onto the ropes as Isabela tucks her arms in to try to protect herself as best as she can under the barrage coming from Cierra. The round ends with Cierra yelling "come on!" Before walking back to her stool. Isabela shakes her head looking annoyed as she marches to her stool, being told to cool off by Daisy.

Round 5:
Both women exchange around the center as Cierra trying to push forwards again. Isabela though showing her impressive footwork to dodge to the left of Cierra, a counter right lands on the temple of Ramirez to make her blink as she takes a step back.

Cierra finding herself getting smacked too easily through her mitts to her face. Isabela dancing around Cierra to create angles to strike. A RIGHT HOOK LANDS ON THE CHIN OF CIERRA TO BUCKLE HER KNEES, A FOLLOW UP LEFT HOOK SENDS RAMIREZ TO HER BACK!

Isabela jogs to the neutral corner with a nod to her coach. 1....2....3... While Cierra is groaning as her gumshield hangs out her mouth. 4....5....6... Cierra has her right leg bent and her foot planted on the canvas. 7....8... She isn't moving though, 9....10 it's all over for this bout!

Winner Isabela Merced KO Round 5

After:
Isabela seems to have the hold firmly over Cierra judging by this performance tonight. The winner turns to the crowd to raise her arms before blowing kisses to them as she takes the loud cheers. Daisy stepping into the ring as Isabela jogs over to her, they embrace in their corner as Daisy looks proud of her fighter.

The same can't be said for Cierra now as Roslyn shakes her head as she climbs into the ring. Helping to sit the beaten fighter up as Cierra groans. Roslyn doesn't say anything as she looks to clean up her fighter and give her a drink.

Over comes Isabel's soon enough as Cierra is helped to stand. Roslyn looks to be biting her tongue, clearly wanting to say something, but as Cierra is pushed to the ropes and her red gloves forcefully pulled off her hands. Isabela tells Cierra "stop wasting my time trying to fight me bytch. You will never be on my level" waving the gloves she has taken right into the face of Cierra. Who pushes back at her rival, Roslyn steps in at that point because she knows Cierra isn't in any shape for a fight.

Ramirez being helped out the ring as Merced struts around the inside of the ring holding the gloves up for all to see. Cierra looks down right pissed off, this was supposed to be her night to even the score and instead she is leaving humiliated by Isabela. Will she be back for more of her rival or will she give up the ghost?

In the ring Isabela gets the red gloves string knotted together, hanging them over her shoulders to hang down over her chest. Isabela gets her left arm raised in victory as she looks excited. Could this be a sign of what is to come for the young woman? Is she going to be part of this new era of the flyweight division?

For now she leaves the ring with her coach. Isabela joking that she might post a topless picture with just the gloves to cover her modesty to rile up Cierra. Winking with her tongue sticking out to make sure Daisy does know it's a joke. Daisy laughing as they head to the back. Showing the connection they have made as fighter and coach.
