Intro:
When you talk about Fighters who have a hold over another in a ring, you could use Kira Kosarin and Kaya Scodelario as a prime example. Kira has beaten Kaya in their three previous bouts. First fighting back in 2018 when Kira knocked out her rival in six rounds. The last time they fought was 2021, has Kaya found the answers finally to defeat Kira or is this simply a bad match up for her she can't win?

In Boston's TD Garden Arena they will fight it out. Before then they both give their thoughts to the FCBA Networks Alicia Atout. First up to speak to her was Kira outside her locker room as Kira wears a black hoodie with a gold thunder bolt pattern on the front. Black denim jeans and shoes. She looks in a good mood as she gives Alicia a hug after taking her headphones off.

"Tonight Kaya tries once again to beat me, honestly Alicia you'd think she would learn that she simply hasn't got the tools to beat me. I am too big, too strong and too quick fit her but I am happy to take a paycheck and continue to shut her up" says Kira.

She then adds "I am going to send a message to the rest of the bantamweight division. I am in my prime now, think about my career up till this point. I have been a champion twice when I was still coming into my physical best, imagine how good I am now." There seems to be almost an aura of confidence around Kosarin before she heads into her locker room.

Kaya on the other hand speaks to Alicia in the media area as she wears a black blouse, blue denim jeans and black trainers. She tells Alicia "god I am so sick of Kira, she has such a punchable face." Almost hissing as she speaks to show her annoyance even thinking of her opponent.

Taking a breath, Kaya says in a venomous tone "this time I am done playing with her. I am going to beat her till she is on her knees giving me the damn respect I deserve." Walking off quickly as she is done talking, she just wants to fight.

Fighting time! First out is Kira with her coach Nadia Bjorlin behind her. Kira waving to the crowd as she looks relaxed. Kira is wearing a light blue sports bra with a gold thunder bolt on the center, light blue trunks, shoes and gloves, her hair is braided. Getting inside the ring, Kira bounces on her toes shaking her arms to keep herself loose and ready.

Out comes Kaya with her coach Hilary Swank. Kaya marches to the ring wearing a red sports bra, red trunks with black stripes down the sides, matching boots, black gloves and her hair is tied into a ponytail. She climbs into the ring with Hilary telling her this is her time to beat respect into her opponent.

They both walk to the middle of the ring with a tense expression on both women's face. They do touch gloves but there is a crack heard to show it wasn't a loving one. Both jog back to their corners with coaches giving final words of encouragement. The bell then rings to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
Out they come with both fighters exchanging single punches to start off. Kaya stepping in to land a few body shots before she is nudged back by Kira, who lands a double jab into the forehead of Kaya in reply. Both opening up more as they warm up to the task.

A left hook from Kira opens up Kaya to a straight onto her nose. Kaya moved around the outside part of the ring now as Kira is landing the more punches between them now. Kira nicely switching up with crisp body shots. Kaya trying to match her but she is covering up more to protect herself.

Going into the final moments of the round. Kaya landing a crisp straight into the lips of Kira as she looks to fight back. Getting in close as they exchange hard shots. Kira catches Kaya with a short uppercut to the body before a left hook lands on the cheek of the English fighter. The bell dings to end the round with Kosarin nodding to her corner looking relaxed.

Round 2:
Back out they come with Kira drilling in more punches to the face of Kaya as she moves around the middle of the ring. Kaya dips under a straight to come in closer to land two short body shots before an overhand right lands on the glove of her opponent.

Kaya as they get into the second minute of the round lands an uppercut to catch out Kira. Who finds herself being driven back to the ropes as Kaya looks to unload on her foe. Hooks to the body of the American till she is pushed back out. Kira landing another short left hook as Kaya either doesn't care about it or isn't focused enough to defend against it.

There's more inside fighting between them as Kira gets off the ropes but Kaya digs in. Foreheads at times are pressed together as they grunt and groan into each others faces as they work away. The round comes to a close with a shove exchanged. Kaya banging her gloves together as she back to her corner.

Round 3:
Kira is up on her toes moving to Kaya's left side as she looks serious. Kaya trying to match her movement with jabs. A straight catches Kaya around her left eye before a left hook lands across her face. There's a mouse forming under the left eye of Scodelario.

Kaya is getting frustrated as she gets popped to her face by Kira, the American looking in great shape here as she hammers in straight shots. Kaya needing to crouch down to create angles to strike from. An uppercut catches Kira on her chin to knock her head back as Kaya looks to come back at her.

They exchange on the inside. Kira using her left forearm to nudge back Kaya, landing several short hooks around the face of Scodelario to make her hiss out as she is getting marked up. At the bell Kira almost bouncing back to her corner as no worries about confidence against Kaya. Who taps her toes as she sits on her stool.

Round 4:
Again Kira looks in great form here as she starts with a double jab out the gate. Kaya needing to move her head more to dodge as she starts to step in to land hooks out her guard. Both women trading at midrange as they look to control each other.

The first minute now past Kaya stabs a jab under the chin of her opponent to make her back up. Kira eats a follow up uppercut to send her onto the ropes as Kaya is having arguably her most success in the fight so far. Kira ending up on the ropes as she looks to cover up. A LEFT HOOK TO THE EAR LOOKS TO BUZZ HER BEFORE AN UPPERCUT CATCHES HER! DOWN GOES KIRA TO HER KNEES!

Kaya jogs to the neutral corner as Hilary nods to her with a smile. 1....2....3... Kira shakes her head to clear some cobwebs. 4....5... Kira punches the canvas with her left fist in annoyance. 6....7....8 Kira pushes up to her feet. The referee checks her over but she looks more humiliated at being put down then badly hurt.

They exchange when they resume as Kaya looks to close in on her foe. Kira's legs are ok as she is back on her toes. Kaya is cutting the ring off though and they are firing away in close as Kira has her back towards a neutral corner. The round ends with Kira biting down on her gumshield trying not to swear. Kaya meanwhile sits down on her stool with her eyes staring hard at her opponent.

Round 5:
Pushing off their stools to resume. Kaya is looking to put pressure on Kira early in the round, banging away around the jugs and body of Kira to make her grit her mouthpiece. Kira catches Kaya near the end of the first minute with a left hook that opens a cut under the right eye of Scodelario.

Ramming more punches into Kaya's face to push her around the outside of the ring. Kira looking happy to be back in control holding the middle of the ring. Kira firing in two and three punch combos. Kaya looking pissed off as she can't seem to get going in this fight as she'd hope.

Late on she manages to dip down to work the body of Kira with straight shots. Getting caught around her head with short hooks. They nearly clash heads as Kaya looks to get in closer. The round comes to an end not long later with both glaring at each other. Walking back to their stools after being ordered to them twice. Hilary giving Kaya a pep talk as Kaya looks frustrated.

Round 6:
Kaya getting more aggressive as clearly she thinks that's her answer to her Kosarin problem. Hammering away in close before being nudged back. It does allow her to cut the ring off more as Kira backs off. Kira though is happy to engage as she reopens the cut on Kaya's cheek to make Kaya yelp out each time it gets hit.

The older fighter digs at the torso of Kira to try to smother her work in a corner. Kira pulls Kaya into a front headlock to force the referee to get involved. After they are split up Kira gets out the corner, problem is Kaya is keeping at her, forcing the issue.

Late in the round Kaya gets clipped around her right eye with a left hook. That slows down her for a straight into her nose to make her cover up. Kira coming back strong but the bell rings before she can pin down Kaya. The fighters gets cleaned up, Kaya is the one looking worse for wear as now her right eye is puffy as she complains about a thumb to the eye. Hilary works on it and the referee checks if she can fight on. Kaya assuring them she isn't going to quit.

Round 7:
While Kaya braves it out to get back up to resume. Kira is hammering her face from range as she keeps on the move. Kaya is opening up hoping to catch Kira but her aim is off as her right eye is clearly bugging her. A STRAIGHT OPENS UP KAYA TO A LEFT HOOK TO THE CHEEK. AN UPPERCUT CATCHES KAYA ON HER CHIN AMD DOWN SHE GOES TO HER BACK!

Kira taps her gloves together looking like she applauding herself as she heads to the neutral corner. 1....2....3....4... Kaya is groaning as she is spread eagle near her corner. 5....6... Hilary shakes her head as she can't do anything to help. 7....8....9....10 that's it for this one!

Winner Kira Kosarin KO Round 7

After:
That's four victories out of four for Kira over Kaya. Kira moves over to her beaten rival to ask "why keep trying this? You keep getting beaten down." That falls on deaf ears of course as Kaya isn't exactly able to reply to her. Kira jogging back to her corner to be hugged by Nadia.

Kaya has to be checked over by the ringside doctor and Hilary. After a minute she sits up with Hilary applying a towel with ice in on her swollen right eye. Kaya frustrated tosses her gloves off as she admits "I am f**king done... I can't beat her." Making Hilary tell her sternly not to talk like that.

When Kaya is able to stand she is helped out the ring. Kaya looks downright beaten. Head down as she is helped by Hilary to the back. It will be interesting to see if she can get out this slump she is in. She just doesn't seem to have the confidence in herself.

Kira on the other hand is looking bubbly like she'll pop like a bottle of champagne in celebration while being cleaned up. Her gloves off as she tells Nadia "I can't wait to get back to the locker room to get changed and go out with friends." Not caring she has a few marks on her face.

Jogging to the center of the ring, Kira gets her left hand raised in the air by the referee. She looked phenomenal here and you have to wonder how long it will be till she brings home the bantamweight title again as she definitely looks to entering her prime as a fighter and that is scary for everyone else.

Leaving the ring with Nadia. Who jokes I am too old as Kira asks her to come out with her to celebrate before they fly back to their homes in the morning. Kira looks to be growing more comfortable in herself too. Gone is the shy girl for a more dominant woman.
