Before: Carrere has the option: play it cool, give Charlize some props, make this a professional affair, or trash Theron in the press, television and pre-fight and make things personal. Tia choosing the latter, shouting down Theron during conferences reminding everyone that she, Tia is champ, and Charlize is just another contender—despite HBO heavy promo-ing o the blonde,. Carrere guaranteeing a stunning victory—bettors not so quick to agree making her a slight dog. Carrere in black sports bra, red speedos, Charlize in white sports bra, ale blue adidas terrycloth trunks.

During R1: Whoops, Carrere come stomping out and Charlize calmly meets her with a lightning lead right, left hook, right uppercut on the chin and DOWN GOES TIA! Carrere in one knee, blinking in shock gets to her feet and shakes her head to clear the cobwebs. Brisk slugging action as Charlize wades in to punch the taste out of Tia’s mouth—Carrere meeting her toe to toe—girls live up to the hype as leather rips back and forth, faces are shined, and ribcages blistered in non stop trading. Carrere actually backing Charlize up in the brawling, but can’t overcome a big 10-8 opener for the challenger.

R2: Carrere still coming forward, now finding Charlize with hammering right hands on the jaw, then going to the flanks with wide lefts and rights as Theron slows down. Heavy, heavy body shots thump against the blonde’s sleek frame, jerking her from one foot to the other, and Ta shows her strength, backing Theron up, punching her chest ribs and stomach, and using a good deal of forehead ion Charlize’s cheekbones in close. Banging shutout Tia.

R3: Charlize trying to stand her ground, but Carrere is walking through the blonde’s bang-bang combinations—brunette willing to eat blonde right hands in order to bang that midsection. Carrere dragging the right hand from behind her into Charlize belly, has the blonde groaning, tremble-bodied as the power shots add up. Down the stretch, Charlize looks to the jab to open up real estate, steering Tia to the bell and escaping another shutout by staying well outside, Tia smiling after another punishing round, smacks a hurting Charlize on the rump as she staggers back to her corner.

R4: Tia hungry for more blonde meat, stomps over to cut off the ring and trades right hands to chin to batter Charlize back to the ropes. Theron’s hands low, lifting left and right uppercuts into Tia—Carrere gritting her teeth, crossing her arms and hurling wide lefts and rights into Charlize’s waist. It’s bitter, heavy slugging action, and Theron is getting the worst of it. Charlize starting to push punches, going glassy eyed, and Tia stays right on top of her, uptempoing and pounding away with clubbing lefts and rights to Charlize’s head. Theron going dangerously weak kneed, head snapping back and forth as Tia starts to pour it on, and CHARLIZE IS HURT! Crowd roaring as Tia senses the moment—Carrere heaping punches onto her foe’s face, battering and pounding away AND THE REF JUMPS IN! A sobbing Charlize Theron, bleeding from the nose and out on her feet lolls helplessly in the referee’s arms as a jubilant Tia Carrere leaps away in victory, TKO4 Tia C.

After: Stunning early stoppage as Tia jumps on her prey and pounds Charlize out to defend her title, beating Theron for the first time. “I saw quit in her eyes when I got up from that pussy knockdown,” Tia explained in post fight. “She knew I wasn’t going to roll over and her heart just gave out. I started pounding on her, stalking her, and hurting her, and eventually the punk just came out. I wish she could have kept it together—the way it was going, I could have ended her career if I’d just had another 5 or 6 rounds with her!” Heartbreaking beating leaves Charlize in disarray, with potential new superstars like Jeri Ryan nipping at her heels, threatening to finally topple the blonde from the pound for pound peak.
