BEFORE: Sabrina Carpenter's short-lived tenure with the Queens of Absolution is over as that stable decided to stick with Kelli Berglund after all but the petite singer was welcomed back to the Lioness fold and she plans to kickstart her career with Sadie Sink being chosen for the "new opening" test. Most pundits dismiss the redhead actress due to her alleged lack of athleticism but that's not the most important trait in the flyweight division. Moreover Sink wants to prove the naysayers wrong and claims she will bash Carpenter into submission tonight which is a very bold statement indeed.

Sabrina Carpenter wears a white crop top, jeans shorts & red gloves. Long blonde hair with bangs tied in a curled ponytail. Sadie Sink wears a black crop top, jeans shorts & neon green gloves. Long carrot red hair tied in a braid. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Rounds 1 & 2:
It's a quick start from Sadie who doesn't waste any time in landing her shots up the middle and she rattles the blonde rather easily during the opening dispute. One-way traffic performance silences Eva Mendes is the Lioness corner as Sabrina leaks punches from both flanks and somehow struggles to match the redhead's intensity. Woof. The lack of proper resistance only makes Sink even more aggressive allthough she remains a little too predictable in her head-hunting attacks. However Sabrina is unable to respond and gets bounced around the ring like she's level A fighter and cuts a frustrated figure when Sadie traps her on the turnbuckle to close oit the round. More of the same in the second where Sadie simply dominates the aerial attack and beats a lacklustre blonde by the numbers. If she had more raw power she could have delivered a slam dunk finish already but things ain't that simple for many of these second-tier fighters and Sadie has to put work to actually hurt the otherwise struggling opponent.

Rounds 3 & 4:
Sabrina finally wakes up after a lenghty pep talk from coach Mendes but she also struggles to display that raw power so the back & forth action doesn't quite meet the elite standards. Not like most pundits expected this to happen but a small cut across the nasal ridge throws Sink off her comfort zone and she pulls back on the slugging delivery which only allows Carpenter to claw back the deficit. One quick series after another slices through the redhead's high-guard and she gets blasted onto the turnbuckle half-way through the fourth when Sabrina cashes in on some body shots to finally expand the strike zone. She drills Sadie's gut until the younger girl finally clinches her into safety before a stray headbutt spins the blonde away for good. Ugh! She's clearly upset about that one but eats a quick hook on the jaw moments later and refuses to engage in more slugging ideas for remainder of the round.

Rounds 5 & 6:
Another good spell for Sadie who pays back the gut-checking favor and tries to dominate the Lioness blonde in close range which leads into a physical test of strenght as both girls keep working those mitts even if they can't really find that elusive elite power. The back & forth blast results in Sadie getting cut under the left eye but she tears a small gash on the blonde's nose as well before the body assault drops Carpenter butt-in-ropes where she kinda admits defeat and clinches the redhead into safety. She gets beaten by a quick overhand early in the sixth and simply leaks more punches than her opponent thereafter which makes coach Mendes verbally upset. Sadie sports more battle damage if you look at her face but she bounces Sabrina around and just misses on a put away piledriver when the blonde stumbles onto the turnbuckle and simply can't escape the trap anymore. Sink does all the work required to look superior out there expect actually putting Carpenter down on the floor!

Round 7:
Sadie goes for that aerial heater but swings over the blonde's head and takes a wild shot on the chin herself which stuns her upon impact. Ugh! Sabrina gets a little lucky there but she won't apologize for it especially when she finds the follow up on the ear that sinks the redhead on jelly knees moments later. Double ugh! Sadie tries to zero in on the response but can't reload the brain cells in time so Carpenter has a free shot to blow her up... which she does... another left hook SMOKES the younger actress on the nose and she crashes flat on her back amid a loud cheer from the audience!!! And that should be that as Sadie is simply unable to rise to her feet anymore and draws the curtains in spread eagle demise. KO7 Sabrina Carpenter!!!

AFTER: One might argue Sabrina has a long way to go despite this result; she was behind on cards before finding that KO series but a more accomplished fighter would have probably destroyed her much sooner already. This is where match-making helps and the Lioness crew will have to navigate some very tricky waters if the former Disney girl is destined to live up to even half of the expectations given her pint size and other obstacles.
