Cheryl Cole vs Lacey Chabert
(Lioness Club vs Empire Boxing)
(53-19, 53 KO vs 44-48-3, 37 KO)
Results: Lookout!; Story: Vassago

BEFORE: One might argue Cheryl Cole needs a more qualified opponent than Lacey Chabert as she still wants to enjoy a Top 20 ranking after crossing the wrong side of forty however flyweight is notoriously crowded year after year so the Lioness entourage believes riding the win streak is more important than anything else at this stage of the singer's career. Meanwhile Lacey admits she would prefer to battle fellow cougars in JMD rules but her Hallmark contract is liberal enough she doesn't have to worry about facial damage either. Well, does she anticipate getting pounded into a bloody mess by the notorious Geordie singer tonight? Let's find out!

Cheryl Cole wears a leopard print bikini top, jeans shorts & red gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a curled ponytail. Lacey Chabert wears a black crop top, jeans shorts & white gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a custom ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Lacey gets the jump on the notoriously aggressive singer and punishes her to the body in a frantic phone booth exchange before landing a quick uppercut combo that sends the Geordie woman reeling straight away. There's not much confidence in Chabert's chances around the arena but she's not exactly a walking tomato can yet and Cheryl learns it the hard way soaking up more hits from close range with the Hallmark pin-up refusing to take her foot off the gas. She bundles Cole over to the ropes and rips more body shots on target until the English tourist has to clinch her into safety which triggers a lenghty wrestling spell to finally take the steam out of the ring. Coach Eva Mendes only shakes her head but Cole only gives her a quick shrug and vows to do better going forward.

Rounds 2 & 3:
Cheryl does better in the second... and the third as well. She takes the slugging game to the house aka Lacey's face and knocks her around the ring feeling way more confident in the process. Aggressive pounding is where Cheryl makes her money and it usually takes an equally determined woman to neutralize her performance outright. Lacey did quite well in the opening round but she can't follow through on it and gets busted around to the tune of some visible swelling as even the somewhat predictable head-hunting offense still gives Cole plenty to celebrate. She whacks Chabert back to the post and shakes off the clinching effort before driving some hard leather on the cleavage which seems like an open challenge to the American's trademark playground but the response is minimal and Cheryl has to liberty to pile on more leather while Lacey sinks into loud spasms until the ref finally steps in at the bell.

Round 4:
Lacey tries to regain that aggressive advantage and she matches well against the Geordie delivery in the opening minute but she can't quite hurt the fellow brunette and doesn't carry enough power to shake Cheryl off her stance either. The back & forth thumping triggers a significant crowd support but Lacey's efforts to whack the singer's cleavage still leave her exposed to an uppercut response from the inside and Cole can simply take the mean punch better according to pure eye test. Chabert gets vocal while working to the singer's body but the even performance doesn't meet her demand when she eventually runs out of energy in the closing stages and gets sucked into another wrestling struggle along the ropes which actually raises Eva Mendes' eyebrow during the interval. But Chezza claims she knows what she's doing!

Round 5:
Cheryl fires the uppercut drive and goes straight for Lacey's chin; the older brunette thinks she can match the head-hunting procedure but the heads up exchange ends sour when she gets caught with a vicious double and wobbles forward to meet a crushing hook on the mouth. Ugh! Lacey rolls down the proverbial curtains and it would be better if she went down immediately because the delayed demise only allows Cole to drop one final and totally unanswered jackhammer punch on the nose that turns Chabert's lights out even before she hits the deck! Talk about going DOWN AND OUT!!! Ref only gives the fallen brunette one look and knows she won't rise to her feet anytime soon! KO5 Cheryl Cole!!!

AFTER: The victorious singer keeps it strictly business afterwards... for like five seconds. She taunts the fallen opponent over her jug muggin' tactics that could never gain any traction before turning to the camera and demanding KO of the Night bonus: "I can't believe someone will do a better job for the rest of the event. I totally smoked that weak #### and I could do that ten times over if I have to. Don't tell me I'm too old for a Top 20 spot! How the hell am I ranked below that chick who got fired from Front Street is beyond me!"

Official Result: Cheryl Cole def. Lacey Chabert KO5.
