BEFORE: This would have been a Main Event showdown back in 1999 but both Claudia Schiffer and Cindy Crawford can still turn some heads as Cougar boxing stalwarts and it doesn't take much to reboot the old rivalry despite these two modelling legends downplaying the magnitude of tonight's contest.

Claudia Schiffer wears a dark green bikini set & golden gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Cindy Crawford wears a black one-piece swimsuit & stars & stripes themed gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a custom ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the welterweight division.

Round 1:
Schiffer hits the early slugging button and takes advantage of Cindy's slow footwork as if these lanky models usually didn't struggle with this part of the scheme since day one. Cindy wants to land that slam dunk series but doesn't find it and has to soak up the blonde's power drive that dissects her shaky high-guard. Most pundits didn't expect anything different but the brunette still leaks too many of these punches and risks a quick injury while Claudia simply piles on more leather having realizes the door is wide open to bash Cindy's face in. A stubborn clinch eventually comes to the Crawford's rescue but she still gets shoved onto the ropes where she allows Schiffer to break free and slam some additional body shots almost for fun. Ugh! Claudia takes the round wide and threatens to run away with a whitewash!

Rounds 2 & 3:
Cindy comes back to land some noteworthy punches into the blonde's face even though she's not best pleased when she gets cut across the nasal ridge in response as the German model refuses to stay away from the slugging drill for too long. Both cougars trade hard punches but quickly run out of steam and drop into single-strike coverage that further slows the action down until a clinching solution allows both of them to buy some time. Similar script follows in the third, a back & forth head-hunting dispute - this time with Claudia taking a nasty gash under the eye - and the tempo slows down only for Cindy to land the better body harpoons come the final stretch which allows her to steal the round on points.

Round 4:
Claudia lands the best punch tearing another gash on Cindy's face and she keeps her glued to the spot before rattling off more head shots that force the brunette out into the open. The hassle is on but Cindy does a good job of avoiding that haymaker misery and makes the German foe lose her focus which almost results in a stunning overhand crosser... but Cindy misses it and falls into a lenghty clinch while an additional head-butt spins Schiffer against the turnbuckle where she soaks up a late gut-checking flurry much to the crowd's delight.

Round 5:
Cindy gets more aggressive and tries to punish the blonde to the body to enhance her chances but disaster strikes during the initial tangle as Claudia digs an elbow into her chest and then blows a right hook on the jaw that sinks the brunette into loud spasms upon impact. Another wild swing follows and Cindy takes the blast square on the jaw... and DOWN SHE GOES!!! Woof. Claudia finally lands that haymaker rocket and she leaves Crawford all shaken up even after getting up at seven. Uh-oh!!! Cindy wants to continue but cuts a jelly figure and wobbles onto the ropes looking anything but ready to go on and that is that. No second guessing in cougar division and the fight is stopped! TKO5 Claudia Schiffer!!!

AFTER: Punching resistance remains the biggest question mark in majority of these cougar fights and Claudia could simply take more punishment than her opponent which ultimately carried her into victory. But one could expect these two to exchange notes over a bottle of diet Coke during the VIP afterparty anyway!
