DANIELLE FISHEL VS BRITNEY SPEARS

Dani: 42 YO, 5’1 (1.55 m), 127-93-12, 77KOs since 1999 Foxfire Boxing

Britney: 42 YO, 5’4 (1.63 m), 93-55-6, 63 KO since 1999, Front Street

(Both Danielle and Britney are members of the Tractorpull FCBA Hall of Fame)

Before: “Well, when I heard they wanted to put on a special 25th Anniversary PPV, I admit my first reaction was: ‘Has it really been that long?’ Then, I decided I wanted to be part of it and who else could I ask but my old frienemy, Britney,” says Danielle Fishel ahead of her coming fight with Brtney Spears.

“That’s it, Dani, try to take all the credit for it,” interupts Ms. Spears. “I had the same idea, you just called me first. I told you then I was more than happy to punch your fireplug of a body out.”

“You do say the sweetest things, Brit,” Dani replied. “but there is also the fact we’ve had 10 fights sine 1999;. I’ve won 5 and you won 4 and then there was that Draw. I knew you would jump at the chance to make our record .500 each. Not that I will let that happen. After all, I’m the girl who spooled your debut way back in 99.”

“You just love that one, don’t you? Well, I won our last one in 2013 and I look forward to evening our score,” Britney continued.

“You haven’t won it yet,” Dani replies.

‘And neither have you,” Britney says and the two are looking quite excited at the prospect. This excitement continues as they head for the ring on FIght Night. Nostalgic fans are excited, the more sober, point neither of them have been very active (or successful in reent years, but still others argue the chnce for one last shot at one another is bound to make things interesting.

Once in the ring, Dani removes her robe, she is wearing a purple bikini with matching gloves and bootys. Her hair is in a ponytail. Britney Spears is in a sky blue bikini with white gloves and boots (sky blue laces). Both fighters fidgeting as the referee drones through his instruction. At last this is done. They quickly tap globes and get to their corners. Then the bell sounds: DING!

R1: Britney and Dani out swiftly from their corners and go into action in the middle of the ring. Dani testing Brit’s chin early with quick chin clippers from the right and left. Britney responding with solid swats to the head of Danielle. Two now circle and counter circling, jockeying for the right position to do the most damage. Punches coming in quick flurries, mainly to the head, but bodies start take leather as well. Then Dani comes in and stays in. She is lashing away at Britney to the body. Britney trying to match her, but then Dani goes after her chin late in the round. Britney knocked back on her heels. Danie trying to build on this but Britney holding him off to the bel. However judges find Dni has pulled out the win by a close total.

R2: Dani and Brit waste no time returning to the battle as the new round gets started. Britney showing more attention to Dani’s jaw and chin this round. She moves around, making herself a hard arget, but always trying to get her mitts into Dani’s head. Dani goes to the body, trying drive Britney back with belly busters and rib roasters. Britney grimly keeping up her head attack w trying to fight through the growing pain in her torso. Then Britney scores with head snapping right/left combo that makes Dani’s knees buckle. Britney moves forward to build on this, but Dani throws up a barrage of jabs to the face that cause Britney’s attack to stall. Brit and Dani recover and then move at each other. Now Dani is going for Britney’s head now she is ripping into Dani’s body. Dani doubled up from these blows as the bell rings. It’s another close round, but this time the judges give Britney the nod.

R3: Bell sounds and Dani Fishel just a little faster getting clear of her corner. She goes after Britney to the head with leaping rights and lefts. Britney retreating, trying to use her jab to discourage Dni, but Dani is fighting through to now bang Brit to the chin. Britney forced to keep her guard high and Dani immediately goes to work on Britney’s aleady bruised body. She has Britney bent forward and is attacking her to the head with alternating rights and lefts. Britney doing her best to keep to the middle of the ring, but she Is taking a lot of punches to the bell. No surprise at the result: Dani Fishel—wide.

R4: Britney was challenged by Dani Fishel in the last round. Brit responds by storming in against Dani behind a barrage of punches that strike head and body in a alternating pattern. Dani hit in the face, the jaw and the chin is staggering and then Britney concentrates on a body attack. Dani punched back near the ropes before she is able to make a stand and try to fight her way clear, but then she takes a big right to the jaw and a left to the chin Dani is flung into the ropes. She is able to bury her face in her gloves and take a seat on the strands. Britney sweating hard as she pours in the body torment, but Dani is still standing at the bell. However, Dani looks pale and moves stiffly in getting back to corner. Britney Spears wins this one wide.

R5: Foxfire corner working diligently and gets Dani out promptly for the new round. However Dani is moving slowly with her guard up high as she warily watched Britney comes at her. Britney seems to be looking for a trap so she confines herself to quick rushes to test Dani. Dan blocking many of Britney’s head shots so Brit decides to go back to the body. She moves in and starts up again on hammering Dani’s body from her big breasts down to rob cage and abs. Dani grunting softly at the impacts but keeping her guard high and in close. Then Dani starts to fall back quickly. Britney leaps after her—BUT SHE LUNGES INTO A MURDEROUS DANI FISHEL RIGHT T THE POINT OF BRIT”S CHIN! Britney slams forward into Danis arms and then slides down to puddle at Danis purple boot tops! Dani off to the neutral corner and watches anxiously. The referee is counting as Britney pushes herself up off the floor. She keeps shaking her head as though to clear it and then she pulls herself together. Her face straining with effort, Britney rises to break the count at “EIGHT!” Great cheers from Brit fans. Groans from Dani fans. Referee checks Brit out and then waves Dai back in, but Britney’s too much a veteran to do anything but cover up and just get out of this round. Dani works over Brits side ribs as much as she can until the bell rings. Dani looks disappointed, though the knockdown assures her winning the round wide.

R6: New round and now Dani Fishel is the one moving last and Britney Spears is the cautious. Dani doesn’t seem to fear a trap, she attacks boldly to Britney’s body with rib jarring hooks. Britney hunches up and soon is firing straight rights and lefts to Dani’s face; Dani recoils from this and then Britney goes for Dani’s body with slashing hooks that crisscross Dani’s midsection. Dani responds with a furious attack on Britney’s body. The two whack away with crowd-pleasing effort right down to the bell. Both fighters are breathing hard and looking pale. The judges are adding the points and give Dani a narrow win.

R7: Sharp-eyed observers note that Dani and Brit are looking drained as they sit on their stools. Not surprising given they have accumulated much rust over the past few years, but now these observers wonder which one will break down first? No time to mull this over as the bell sounds the two fighters gamely head out.

Although moving slowly to the middle of the ring, Dani and Britney move at each other with sudden bursts of energy. Dani coming forward, trying to confuse Britney by alternating her attack to the head and to the body. Britney grimly hanging in, getting hit but she’ s dishing out too.Like Dani, Brit is striking at head and body. They do circle each other, bit mainly it is stand there—take it—and hit back. Very intense to wath especially as the ground gets into it and the roar is like a wall of sound surrounding them as they hammer each other. Then Britney starts concentrating her punching on Dani’s chin. She hits it over and over as Dani seems frozen by the multiple impacts crashing into her brain. Then, suddenly, DANI FISHEL TOPPLES OVER BACKWARDS. Dani lands, her legs fly up and then come down and she is laying there , arms at her sides, eyelashes fluttering. Britney looks down in wonderment as though she canlt quite believe this has happened. Then referee reminds her to get to the neutral corner and she obeys at once.

The referee is counting. Dani is trying to rise. She manages to push herself upright, but when she tries to go further, she shudders and swoons back down.

“SEVEN!...EIGHT!...NINE!....TEN!,,,YOU…ARE..OUTTTTT!!!!” cries he official.

THE WINNER BRITNEY SPEARS DEFEATRS DANIELLE FISHEL KO7!

After: Britney has to clutch the ring ropes as whatever energy reserves were keeping her going ar now drained. Her corner crew rush out and guide Brit back to her corner where her stablemates congratulate her. Meanwhile, Dani has been helped to her stool and given a dose of smelling salts and a check over by the Foxfire medical team. Soon, she is sitting up and Britney comes over to hug her old rival ASrm and arm the two of them walk out to the center of the ring to salute the cheering crowd.

“It was a really hard fight, but somehow I kept going enough to get the win. Dani will have to be my !#1 Opponent and she has my highest respect,” Britney tells press after.

“”It WAS a hard fight, but harder for me because I lost,” says Dani Fishel. “I am glad to hear Britney respects me . I respect too. We wanted to give the fans a good show tonight and I think we did.”
