Sophie Mudd vs. Elettra Lamborghini (JMD Title)

BEFORE:

It's champion vs. former champion in this brunette battle for the JMD Title, as Elettra Lamborghini looks to reclaim the tiara by taking out Sophie Mudd. And, the Italian beauty is plenty confident of being able to do so. "I'm bigger, stronger, tougher, and I've got the better rack. How can I lose?"

"Elettra wants to know how she can lose?" asks Sophie with a smile. "Well. I'll be HAPPY to demonstrate."

ROUND ONE:

The demonstration begins immediately, with the American stepping right to the surprised Italian and backing her up with hard shot to the head, face, and body. Elettra's thrown to the back foot by sharp, accurate, shot, and Sophie keeps her there with both power and volume. Mudd looking as good as she ever has here, punishing the older woman, who can do much more than counter, albeit effectively, in spots. Lamborghini's never hurt, but she's getting touched up quite a bit. Final thirty seconds sees Sophie double down, backing her rival to the ropes with a series of nice combinations. At the bell, there's no doubt about the result. It's Mudd wide to lead 10-9.

ROUND TWO:

Mudd continuing with the pressure and...BOOM! Right hand, ELETTRA and SOPHIE IS HURT! Mudd rumblin', stumblin', fumblin' around the ring as the Italian goes all in! Lamborghini drives all before her as a wobbly champion takes a TON of heavy shot and GOES DOWN after a straight right hand! Italian quickly to a neutral corner to watch and wait, but she ends up a second short of winning the title, at least for now, as Mudd makes it back to her feet at nine. Ref thinks about it during the mandatory but WAVES ON ELETTRA! Challenger winging away, driving the American back to the ropes and GOING RACK IN A MAJOR WAY! Sophie holding on, taking fire as the ref looks on closely...but, despite the Italian's best efforts, Mudd makes it to the bell. When it rings, Lamborghini has it 10-8 and pulls into a 29-28 lead.

ROUND THREE:

Elettra dominant. Champion is still wobbly and the challenger knows it, so she's pressing the action, backing the American up again and again, working head, body, head, digging rack in spots, looking to finish this thing. American looking ready to go, but somehow managing to hang on and stay off the ropes, counter here and there. Final minute sees Mudd trapped on the ropes as Lamborghini goes body and rack in a big way once again. Sophie again bangs back in spots, but she's taking much the worst of it. Elettra pouring in the reserves trying to finish this thing, but, once again, Mudd is able to hang on to the bell. When it rings, the Italian has it wide and now leads 39-37.

ROUND FOUR:

Sophie moving a little better now, but Elettra still having the better of things. Italian able to step to, back the American up. Lamborghini is nothing if not sturdy, and she's using that to her advantage now. Mudd countering a bit more than she did in the third, but she's still not able to hold canvas or fight lead. Instead, the older woman is calling the tune, as she works head and body, hooks a little rack, piles up the points and punishment just as she has during the last two rounds. The champion manages to stay off the ropes this time, but that's about all the good news for her in the fourth. When the bell rings, it's a third straight wide round for Elettra, whose lead is now 49-46.

ROUND FIVE:

Champion determined to hold canvas now and WE'VE GOT A FIREFIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING! The brunettes are hot tossing to start the fifth, with Elettra dead set on advancing and Sophie not having any. TONS of heavy fire is exchanged, and neither brunette will give an inch. Head work early gives way to body work mid-round, as the two brunettes tenderize tummy a rock ribs, And, of course, there's work to jug as well, with champion and challenger going hup-hup at times. You'd think something would have to give, but nothing does. The action continues fast and furious right to the bell, and, when it rings, Sophie's taken it narrowly to cut Elettra's lead to 58-56 at the half.

ROUND SIX:

Believe it or not...SAME AGAIN! The two brunettes simply meet in the middle of the ring and go right after one another, trading hard shots to head, belly, ribs, rack. It's down and dirty as the ladies sit down on punches, each determined to impose will on the other, while neither is willing to be imposed upon. About a minute in...BOOM! Right hand, SOPHIE and Elettra's knees to a shimmy. Lamborghini covers up and MUDD GOES RACK. The Italian tightens the elbows and SOPHIE DROPS HER WITH A LEFT HOOK! Lamborghini splashed to her back in the middle of the ring. Mudd to a neutral corner to watch and wait. Elettra rolling to her belly at six. Tries three times to push to hands and knees but CAN'T DO IT! The count passes her by and it's OVER and your winner by KO6 and STILL JMD Champion is Sophie Mudd!

AFTER:

Mudd looking every inch of a girl who was in a heck of a fight. "Always knew it was going to be a battle," the American admits. "She can hit and she can take a hit. But, I also knew none of that mattered, because, I'm better than her. And, that made the difference."
