TROIAN BELLISARIO VS NICOLA CAVANIS

Troian: 39 YO, 5’7 (1.70m), 4343-0, 39 KO since 2011, Petty Little Punchers Inc.


Nicola: 25 YO, 5’9 (1.75 m), 13-13-0 since 2021, Revolution Boxing

Before: FCBA veteran Troian Bellisario takes on Revolution Boxing’s Nicola Cavanis. The younger German fashion model has built a 13-13 record since arriving in the FCBA in 2021.

“I am excited to be fighting a well-established veteran like Troian, says the eager Nicola in the pre-fight. I am off to a good start in 2024 with 2 wins. I would love to make that 3-0 with a win over a tugh opponent like Troian.”

Troian smiles: “I see you have learned not to provoke an opponent in the pre0f0ght. I do appreciate that. This will be my 2024 debut and I have say ‘good riddance’ to 2023. I started out all right but then lost 4 in a row to end up 2-4. So I am determined to break that streak with this fighjt. I am sorry you had to get in my way, but that’s how it is. Nothing personal.”

Nicola just nods: “Nothing personal, but I have no intention o ending my winning streak and that is just how it is.,”

The two exchange determined looks before departing the press briefing stage. However they look just as determined when they meet again in the ring on Fight Night.

Troian is in her purple one piece swimsuit with black boots and gloves (purple laces). Her hair is pulled back in an elegant battle braid. Nicola in black one piece swimsuit with red gloves and boots (black laces).Her hair is pulled back in a battle braid interwoven with red ribbon. The referee is prompt with the instructions. Gloves are crisply tapped and the two boxers go to their corners. The bell rings…

R1: Troian quick to the attack. She pummels Nicola to the head and then to the body in quick flurries. Then, she circles around the younger woman and comes at her again. This time it sharp blows to the midsection to tip Nicola forward and then Troian brings rising shots into Nicolas overhanging upper body. Nicola scrambling back from this onslaught tries to use her jab to keep Troian at a distance Nicola’s height advantage some help here, but Troian working her way in closer to hammer Nicola n the ribs late in the round. Bell sounds with Troian Bellisario wins round wide.

R2: Troian again closes in early on Nicola with a barrage of punches. Most of these are going to the head, especially the jaw and Nicola has to give ground. However, Nicola starts using her jab with increasingly speed and accuracy. She’s putting a lot of hurt into Troi’s face and definitely stalls the veteran’s attack. Nicola then Troian’s head and then adds rights and lefts to the jab. Troian ducking away from this, circles and strikes at Nicolas right flank. Troian really working over those side ribs and Nicola tries to twist away from them. Now Troian adds a big right to the side of the head that sends Nicola staggering, but she shows pluck by quickly nailing Troian with a head bobbing uppercut to the chin. Troian momentarily knocked back on her heels and Nicola works over Troian’s rib cage to keep her in retreat. Troian now the one resorting to the jab, but Nicola shakes her up with a solid right/left to the chin. Troian now covering up, but time runs out before Nicola build on this. Action-packedois close on the judges; cards but they add up to a win for Nicola Cavanis.

R3: New round starts with Nicola Cavanis seizing the initiative as she bobs and weaves rapidly towards Troian Bellisario then unleashes hard to the PLP fighter’s chin and jaw. The rights and lefts knock Troian’s head back, then swat it from side to side. Troian’s legs suddenly turn to rubber and she is hasty retreat with her gloves up around her spinning head. Nicola then pounds home the belly bomber hooks until she has Troian doubled up and gasping for air. Nicola then bounces shots off the side of Troian’s head. Troian senses she is getting near the ropes and makes a fierce counter attack, going after Nicola to the ribs and belly. Nicola gives it right back to Troian and she quickly has Troian in retreat, However, before Nicola can get Troian into the strands, the bell sounds and Nicola has to settle for winning the round wide.

R4: Troian and Nicola are both out quickly for this round. They hasten to mid-ring and the leather starts flying the moment they come within range. Nicola striking first with long distance blows to Troian’s forehead and the bridge of her nose, but Troian seems shake these off and comes back with power hooks into Nicola’s body. This time she is she showing special attention to working over Nicola’s impressive rack. Nicola strikes back at Troian’s more modest frontal equipment and it’s not slowing Troian down. Nicola then trying to circle and strike at Troian from unexpected angles. However, Troian able to move with her and now she is regularly clipping Nicola to the jaw and chin. Nicola fights back with more face punching, but then Troian’s chin and jaw attack grows more powerful. Nicola sent stumbling back by an especially strong right/left to the jaw. Nicola rallies with body punching of her own and the two are blazing away at each other as the bell sounds. This is another ntense, close round, but this time is Troian Bellsario emerging with the narrow win of the round.

R5: Nicola shooting fast out of her corner and heading for aa showdown with Troian. Troian advancing to meet her and there in an explosion of punching fury as they clash. Nicola going to the head with her opening volleys and she is forcing Troian to give ground. Troian going back to Nicola’s ribs with her hooks and the impacts are soon sending tremors through Nicola’s body. Troian is also able to improve her dodging or blunting of Nicola’s head punching. Nicola getting frustrated tries to get body up on Troian, but then Troian suddenly sends a right uppercut crashing upwards into Nicola’s chin. Nicola comes to a stricken halt. Troian immediately seizes the opening and pours in the rights and lefts to the head. Nicola somehow standing there, gloves frozen in a halfway up position, AND THEN NICOLA CRUMBLES TO HER KNEES AND PITCHES FORWARD ONTO THE CANVAS!

Troian departs at once for the neutral corner. She looks back to see the referee counting over the fallen Nicola. Nicola does stir and try to push herself up, but ut is not enough. She has reached only a crouching position when the referee calls out:

“NINE!...TEN!...YOU’RE OUT!

THE WINNER TROIAN BELLISARIO DEFEATS NICOLA CAVANIS KO5

After: A weary, but smiling Troian tells press: “That girl c punch. However I am tough eough to be to absorb her leather and go on to win it. 2024 has started great for me!”

A disappointed Nicola Cavanis says: “I will admit she won fair and square, but I cant help feeling I could have won it. I need to see if I did anything wrong and see if any adjusts need to be made. I don’t like losing and want to get back to win as soon as I can!”

Close fight that was a good win for Troian Bellisario, who needed to show she was still able to beat younger fighters. That proved, her fans are no doubt looking forward to where she goes from here I the new year. No fun losing, as Nicola Cavanis herself noted and it will be of great interest to her fans to see how well she can bounce back from it. In the meantime, fans can enjoy the replays of this exciting clash.
