EURASIAN INVASION AT THE ASYLUM II: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO

BEFORE:

"This is a big chance for me, obviously," says Jade with a smile. "And, I plan to take FULL advantage."

"She has plenty of talent," Kristen admits. "But, not enough to get a win tonight."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside, and that's 'Dream Girl' by Ir Sais..."

McCarthy: "Who whatnow?"

O'Dell (sighing): "And, here comes Singaporean beauty Jade Rasif!"

Tess: "Rasif started her FCBA career with two consecutive wins, and she's looking to get back on the winning track tonight..."

O'Dell: "Jade into the ring and helped off with the robe to reveal a denim blue number that has the crowd buzzing. And, that's 'Helter Skelter' by the Beatles you hear behind us, and here comes the FCBA's biggest Beatles fan, 'The Five-Tool Player', Kristen Stewart!"

McCarthy: "Weirdo's only REAL fighter..."

Cassie: "Kristen's been right in the middle of the title picture for some time, and if she wants to stay there, she needs a win tonight..."

O'Dell: "As usual, K-Stew taps glove to fist with Mac on the way by the table, climbs into the ring, and is helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve to reveal that familiar lime green number she likes. Ladies about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes K-Stew. Mac?"

McCarthy: "REAL fighter. Stewart!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Unanimous in the first. Let's see if the ladies are right. Rasif moving forward as we get underway. She's got an unorthodox style, head tucked, hands up, moving the head, bobbing and weaving, playing all hard to find..."

Cassie: "While Stewart is TRYING to find with that left."

O'Dell: "And, having success in spots doing that. When Kristen gets that accurate jab on, she's able to score with right hands off it. But, when Jade can slip or block, she's getting to spots and getting off in combination."

Tess: "Rasif clearly figuring she's got nothing to lose here, so she's going for it."

O'Dell: "Is, indeed, and she's holding her own with the former champion. Coming into the final seconds of a competitive first. NICE right hand from Jade and Stewart backs her up with a solid combination at the bell. Nothing in it. All even."

McCarthy: "So, it's 10-10 after one."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second underway and both fighters boxing well. Rasif using that unorthodox style to stymie Stewart's offense at times. Kristen getting that jab picked off or slipped, and, when the Asian beauty can do that, she's making hay...:

Tess: "Key is how quickly Jade's getting the work done."

O'Dell: "Sure is. Block the jab, step in, get off, get out. It's excellent stuff from the younger woman. Stewart, meanwhile, staying patient, working smartly. She's getting some work done, just not as much as she'd like...:"

McCarthy: "Just keep working and she'll get this girl."

O'Dell: "We're down under fifteen seconds in the second, and it's been another close round. SHARP exchange there, with both fighters landing a good right hand, and there's the bell. Very close, but Rasif gets the points."

Cassie: "And, Jade takes the 20-19 lead."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Pattern pretty well set here. Both fighters going the technical route, with Rasif, who's giving up the reach, making up for that with movement of head, hands, and feet. Once again, she's scoring well when she can avoid that Stewart jab..."

Cassie: "And, like you said, Jenny, she's mainly picking it off to do that..."

O'Dell: "That's the way to do it, because Kristen is so accurate with it that it's very, very hard to slip. Stewart hasn't tried doubling up, at least to this point. Instead, she's working to find, then dropping the right hands over the left."

McCarthy: "Keep doing it. It's working."

O'Dell: "Coming down the stretch in yet another close round. Fighters have both gotten work done, but neither's been able to create any real advantage through nine minutes. There's the bell. Very close again. Stewart this time."

Tess: "And, that evens things at 29."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Nothing's broken and nobody wants to fix it. Fourth round proceeding just as the first three have, with the ladies playing the tactical game. For Jade, this has to be plenty encouraging, Mac. Here's a girl with five FCBA fights hanging with the top ranked fly..."

McCarthy: "HAS to be. But, there's a reason fights are ten rounds and not three or four."

O'Dell: "Stewart lands the left, follows on with a solid right hand. Jade slips forward, digs a little body. Hasn't done much of that in this bout so far. Again, good, two-way stuff, with Rasif holding her own against the American..."

Tess: "Thing with Stewart is, she's not going to panic or get sloppy. She's been around too long for that."

O'Dell: "One of the advantages of experience. She just keeps working the fight plan, confident that, eventually, she's going to take control of this thing. Won't happen in the fourth. There's the bell, and it's very close again. Rasif."

Cassie: "And, Jade back in the lead 39-38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Heading for the half way point in what's been a competitive flyweight bout. Rasif continuing to hold her own with K-Stew and maybe turn a few heads while she's at it. Stewart working that left, landing a nice right hand off it..."

Cassie: "Both fighters continuing to stick with the plan."

O'Dell: "Again, nothing broken, no one interested in fixing anything. Jade blocks the left, steps to and GETS ROCKED WITH A RIGHT HOOK! Stewart sends the younger woman wobbling backward and DOWN SHE GOES AFTER A SOLID COMBINATION!"

McCarthy: "JUST like I said! Sooner or later..."

O'Dell: "K-Stew to a neutral corner. Jade down on her back. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. Rasif rolling to her belly at six. Seven. Eight. Pushing up to hands and knees at nine. TEN! It's OVER! Jade game, but can't get off all fours before the count passes her by and your winner by KO5 is 'The Five-Tool Player', Kristen Stewart!"

Tess: "NASTY right hook. Nasty."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Cassie Scerbo!"

Cassie: "I have our winner, Kristen Stewart, and, K-Stew, she made a fight of it..."

Kristen (nodding): "Not surprised. She's beaten people. And, she'll beat MORE people. She's got ability."

Cassie: "But YOU got the result tonight. What's next for you?"

Kristen (smiling): "The goal this year is to get the gold back. So, whatever gets me closer to doing that."
