BEFORE:

"I'm better than this girl, period," says a hard-eyed Martina. "But. At JMD? She has no chance at all."

"Martina has an inflated opinion of herself," says Mikayla without a hint of a smile, "And, I'm JUST the girl to DEflate it."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Hot Girl' by Sabrina Salerno, and here comes Italian beauty Martina Vismara..."

McCarthy: "Weirdo was hitting the sauce again. This girl can BEAT people..."

Cassie: "Including YOU..."

McCarthy: "I WAS ROBBED! I WAS ROBBED!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Martina wasting no time getting into the ring. She's helped off with the robe and the crowd popping for Vismara in that black bikini she's wearing..."

Tess: "Mac isn't wrong about Martina being able to beat people, she's 10-4 in the FCBA..."

O'Dell: "And, that's 'Behold The Hurricane' by Horrible Crows you hear behind us, and here comes Mikayla 'Mass Destruction' Demaiter!"

Cassie: "Mikayla's off to a strong start at Front Street, both at bantam and JMD, but she's got a challenge tonight."

O'Dell: "Demaiter into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve to reveal that cobalt blue number she likes, and the crowd showing their appreciation for the Canadian beauty. Ladies about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Mikayla. Mac?"

McCarthy: "I was ROBBED. But Vismara will beat THIS tomato can!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Here we go. Demaiter wasting no time getting after the brunette here, backing her up with some hard shot. Martina on the back foot very quickly, covering up, trying to counter in spots, but it's the blonde fighting lead right now..."

Tess: "Good stuff from Mikayla. Sound, but effective."

O'Dell: "It's definitely both of those things. Blonde working some body, hooking ribs and tummy. Martina tying up, trying to slow this down. Canadian shoving the Italian off, landing a solid right to the head. Vismara counters with a nice left hook..."

McCarthy: "All this kid has to do is hang in there and wait for the Dancing Hooker cookie to crumble..."

Cassie: "Dancing...what..."

Tess: "Worth it, BFF?"

Cassie: "Good point. Only one fight to go..."

O'Dell (sighing): "Final seconds ticking away in the first. It's been Demaiter in control throughout, and that's not changing as we approach the end of the round. SHARP exchange there and Vismara landed a REALLY nice right hand. There's the bell. Demaiter. Wide. And the blonde has the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins with Vismara pouring forward and Demaiter looking buzzed. That right hand at the bell may have shaken the Canadian, because she's in full retreat now as the Italian gets off lusty, working head and body..."

McCarthy: "Dancing Hooker cookie crumbling just like I said!"

O'Dell: "Mikayla countering here and there, but mostly staying on the defensive, keeping the guard high, giving ground. Martina well aware of the fact that her rival's trying to run clock here, and she's not having any at the moment..."

Cassie: "Demaiter playing good defense, but Martina staying sound, setting up punches..."

O'Dell: "And very effectively so. We've got twenty seconds left in the second, and Vismara's been in charge throughout. NICE combination from Martina there, and MIkayla's backed up again at the bell. Not close in the second. Vismara."

Tess: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Vismara moving forward again, but Mikayla holding ground now, banging back. Martina backs to range, not going to take unnecessary chances, since it looks like the blonde has the legs back. NICE exchange there, with both fighters landing a solid right and hooking some rack."

Tess: "Both women showing respect for the other's power..."

O'Dell: "Most likely because both have felt it already in this one. Now, we're in a more tactical phase of the fight, with blonde and brunette moving the feet, working angles, using the jab to set up right hands. And, the ladies can clearly fight on these terms..."

McCarthy: "Neither of these two tomato cans would last two rounds with ME..."

O'Dell: "Final thirty seconds of the third. It's the first two-way round we've had, and it may also have had the most action, as both blonde and brunette have been busy. Nice right from Martina and she follows with a hook to the rack at the bell. Close. Vismara."

Cassie: "And, Martina pulls into the lead, 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth begins the way the third ended. Ladies working at range, setting up punches, working head, body, and some rack on fairly even terms. Blonde and brunette very active, just as they were in the first and THERE'S A RIGHT HAND, MIKAYLA AND MARTINA IS HURT!"

Cassie: "I can not BELIEVE she is STANDING after that shot!"

O'Dell: "Might not be for long. Vismara STEPPIN' IN FENCE POST HOLES as Demaiter goes all in, driving the brunette to the ropes and GOING RACK! Vismara taking the hup-hup now as the ref looks in closely. Martina crouching and DOWN SHE GOES!"

Tess: "What an UPPERCUT!"

O'Dell: "Perfectly timed and it snaps back Vismara's head sending her nosing in at the blonde's feet. Mikayla to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. No movement at all from Vismara. Six. Seven. Going to be academic. Eight. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! And your winner by KO4 is Mikayla 'Mass Destruction' Demaiter!"

McCarthy: ":Lucky punch!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Mikayla Demaiter, and, Mikayla, you were in a little trouble in the second..."

Mikayla (nodding): "Yeah. She caught me with a good one at the end of the first. Took a minute for me to shake it, but, when I did, I went and got her."

Tess: "Another JMD win for you. But, I know you have more plans than JMD in 2024..."

Mikayla: "Sure do, Tess. I want to work bantam and beach, too. I can do all of it. Might as well take advantage."
