EURASIAN INVASION AT THE ASYLUM II: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO

BEFORE:

"It is PAST time," says a hard-eyed Thylane, "That I get a REAL chance in the FCBA. And, tonight, I will prove that I deserve one."

"If this girl thinks she's going to prove something against me," says Lili with a shake of the head, "She is SADLY mistaken."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Waiting For Love' by Avicci, and here comes French beauty Thylane Blondeau..."

McCarthy: "YAWN! NO FCBA wins!"

O'Dell: "Blondeau slowly making her way to the ring, climbing in to be helped off with the robe, and the crowd clearly impressed with Thylane in that crimson number we saw the last time she was here. And, that's 'What I've Done' by Linkin Park, and here comes 'Diamond' Lili Reinhart..."

Tess: "I've said before that Reinhart is, arguably, the best fighter in the stable. She's looking to get a shot at those bantamweight belts this year..."

Cassie: "Sure is, and she needs a win tonight to stay in the mix."

O'Dell: "Lili into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's getting plenty of pop in that white number she prefers..."

McCarthy: "Philly. Low standards!"

O'Dell: "Ladies about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Lili. Mac?"

McCarthy: "NO FCBA wins. Reinhart!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Unanimous again in the second and the brunette out to prove everyone wrong. She's going right after Reinhart here, backing up the former champion with hard shot and ROCKING HER WITH A RIGHT HAND! Lili staggered in the first minute of this thing!"

McCarthy: "I TOLD you Reinhart was a Typical Dancing Hooker! Knock her out Blonde Ho!"

O'Dell: "Thylane all in, backing up the blonde with flurry after flurry of hard shot. Lili trading space for time here, taking a licking, but, for the moment at least, managing to keep on ticking and stay off the ropes. GOOD right by Blondeau!"

Tess: "Still about thirty to go. Reinhart in real trouble..."

O'Dell: "Definitely is, but she's hanging on. Thylane piling up the points and punishment, but she can't land the shot that will end this thing. Final seconds tick away, and there's the bell. It's Blondeau and it's wide in the first."

Cassie: "And, Thylane grabs the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second underway and Blondeau in command. She's backing up Reinhart with solid combinations. Lili still clearly buzzed and Thylane taking full advantage here. GOOD right from Blondeau backs the blonde up a step..."

Cassie: "Lili trying to ride this out, get the legs back..."

O'Dell: "Sure is, but Thylane trying to make sure that doesn't happen. She's sitting down on punches, trying to end this. Reinhart continuing to play defense and stay off the ropes. Blonde firing back some now, may have shaken the worst of it..."

McCarthy: "Keep after her. You'll beat her, Blonde Ho!"

O'Dell: "Final twenty seconds ticking away in the second. SHARP exchange there, as Reinhart lands her best punch of the fight. She seems to have the legs back now, but it's too little, too late in the second. There's the bell. Thylane. Wide."

Tess: "And, Blondeau leads it 20-18."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third underway and Blondeau backing off the throttle here, knowing Reinhart's got the legs back. Instead, the French beauty wants to work at range, get her box on, while looking for opportunities for power shots..."

Tess: "And, Lili plays THIS game pretty well."

O'Dell: "Does, indeed, and she's playing it well right now. For the first time tonight, the blonde's putting punches together and working on even terms. NICE exchange there and both fighters landed a solid right hand in it."

McCarthy: "Blonde Ho just needs to keep working..."

O'Dell: "ANOTHER trade with some big shots landed. Nobody getting conservative here, but both fighters staying sound. Final seconds ticking away in the first two-way round of the bout and there's the bell. Close. Reinhart."

Cassie: "And Lili cuts the lead to 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth underway with the ladies getting their respective boxes on at range and THERE'S A RIGHT HAND BY LILI! Reinhart a straight right and Blondeau is HURT! Blonde going all in now, sending the brunette staggering backward..."

Cassie: "That was a BRUTAL right. Thylane did well to stay on her feet..."

O'Dell: "Blondeau backed to the ropes. She's got the guard high and tight, and she's putting the body on sale. Lili buying, but not in large amounts. She's mostly concentrating upstairs, looking to finish this thing as the ref looks in closely..."

McCarthy: "That home town ref had better not stop this!"

O'Dell: "French beauty doing enough to keep him at bay, at least for the moment. Lili working clinically, trying to find the 'off' button here, but Blondeau keeping it hidden right to the bell. No doubt, it's Reinhart wide, but Thylane survives."

Tess: "And we're even at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Reinhart determined to get the finish now. She's walking Thylane down behind the jab, dropping hard right hands on her. French beauty giving ground, trying to stay off the ropes, playing for time like Lili did earlier in the fight..."

Tess: "But, Reinhart's landing some good shot..."

O'Dell: "Definitely is. Thylane's legs plenty sturdy, but the blonde is getting plenty of work done, piling up the punishment and SENDING BLONDEAU TO THE CANVAS WITH A RIGHT HAND! Thylane down on her right side as LIli heads for a neutral corner..."

McCarthy: "GET UP, BLONDE HO! GET UP!"

O'Dell: "Count at three. Four. Five. Thylane rolls to her belly at six. Pushes to all fours at seven and gets to her feet at eight. Ref gives her the mandatory and waves on Lili! Blonde letting the hands go, driving the French beauty to the ropes and SENDING HER STAGGERING ALONG THE CABLES WITH A LEFT HOOK AND IT'S OVER! The ref leaps in and it's OVER and your winner by TKO5 is 'Diamond' Lili Reinhart!"

Cassie: "Nice finish. Nice finish."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Lili Reinhart, and, Lili, a bit of a rough start tonight..."

Lili (nodding): "Yeah. She caught me a good one and had me on the defensive for a while. She can hit and she can take a punch, too. She took some good shots. But, I eventually got her."

Tess: "So, good start to 2024. What's the gameplan for the rest of the year?"

Lili (smiling): "I want that gold back, Tess. So, that's the plan."
