Intro:
Penultimate bout of the night sees an early preview of a Wrestlemania contest. This year's Royal Rumble winner Bayley takes on former friend and the current WWE women's Champion Iyo Sky. They step into the Stadium they will wrestle for that title in as Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field stadium hosts this bout. Who can take a mental advantage into that title contest with a win tonight?

These two were part of the original "damage control" stable in the WWE. Bayley brought together herself, Iyo and their friend Dakota Kai. Over the past few months things have changed as Iyo brought her friends Asuka and Kairi Sane into the group without letting Bayley or Dakota know. Months of Bayley being insulted in Japanese caused a split and now the former friends lace up the gloves to duke it out. There friends are banned from ringside for this bout.

They both gave their thoughts to Alicia Atout in their locker rooms after their friends (Mercedes Mone and Asuka) were interviewed for their bout.

First up was Bayley as she was getting her hands wrapped in black hand wraps by her coach as she sat on a bench. Seeing Alicia come to her, Bayley says "do you know this the first bout I've had in two frickin' years. I have been forgotten and you know what I deserve that. I got into a comfortable rut and I will thank Iyo for waking the real me up." Alicia looks a little surprised by her crediting Iyo.

Bayley then sternly says "but that's the only nice thing I have for you Iyo. You thought you were so smart, working behind my back after I helped you achieve all that you did. I am going to take everything from you, I am going to Wrestlemania and will take your title, this is simply my chance to give you a bloody nose and black eye before I knock you out." She clenches her right fist up towards the camera to show it off in a threat to her opponent.

While in the opposition locker room Iyo is pacing with her title over her right arm. Iyo stares hard at Alicia as she says in Japanese with subtitles for the screen saying "why are you bugging me? I am sick and tired of that loser Bayley, now I have you." Shaking her head as clearly the title is on her mind and the big date at Wrestlemania.

She adds "Bayley can't just buzz off and leave us talented wrestlers alone. I had to carry her for months and bring in real wrestlers. Now I am going to teach her how to actually box." Waving Alicia out of the room as she is sick of her presence.

Fighting time! Fire works go off around the stadium as out comes Bayley wearing a black robe with her name in silver on the back. Bayley cups her ears as she jogs to each side of the aisle, looking fired up as her name is chanted by the fans. Walking down the aisle with her coach smiling as she high fives several in the crowd. Hugging a few young fans as she is excited.

Climbing into the ring, Bayley takes the robe off to reveal she is wearing a black sports bra with her name across the front in white letters, black trunks with white stripes down the sides, matching shoes, black gloves and her hair in a ponytail. She taps her gloves as she paces in her corner.

Blue and silver sparks come down over the entrance way as Iyo comes out. The "Genius of the sky" comes down the aisle wearing a long metallic blue robe with gold trim on. She has her world title around her waist as she struts down the aisle waving for the crowd to cheer her as she gets a mixed response.

The robe comes off and the title is handed to an attended to take it to the locker room. Iyo climbs into the ring with a death stare aimed at her former ally. She is wearing a metallic blue sports bra with gold trim, matching trunks and shoes, gold coloured gloves, her hair is tied into a ponytail.

The fighters march to the middle of the ring and get into each others grill. The referee needing to nudge them apart as it's clear the tension between them. There's no touch of gloves as they walk back to their corners. The bell rings to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
The fighters both step out their corners trading around the middle of the ring. Iyo dipping down to throw her punches to the torso of Bayley. Who responds with jabs into the forehead of Iyo. Both trying to get a feel for each other as Bayley looks to keep the smaller woman at bay.

An overhand left catches Bayley on her jaw. A straight follows onto the chin of the American to knock her head back. Iyo swarms Bayley and pins her back to the ropes. Bayley covering up trying to soak up the pressure on her gloves and arms. Iyo digging away at the belly button of Bayley to make her grunt.

Clinching up with Iyo to slow her down. Iyo laughing into the left ear of Bayley to show how little she respects her. They are broken up with Bayley catching Iyo with a double jab into her face. Iyo getting pegged back late in the round by a motivated Bayley till the round comes to a close. Bayley curses herself under her breath as she walks back to her corner.

Round 2:
Bayley takes a breath before she comes out to fight on. Bayley using her reach to try to keep Iyo at range, mixing up her targets to throw in more shots to the chest of Iyo. The Japanese star lands more cuffing shots now as she isn't closing the distance as quickly.

Into the second minute, Iyo is able to slip a few punches to move in closer to work away. Bayley pushes her back and rams a straight into the face of her rival to knock her back. Bayley now herding Iyo around near the ropes as she keeps landing straight shots through gaps she can see in Iyo's guard.

But before Bayley can get too comfortable, she is caught with an overhand right to her jaw. Iyo moves in closer to force a heated exchange on the inside, which fits Sky better as they trade. The round ends with both women pushing apart with their eyes locked for a moment as the tension is clear. Both needing to be ordered twice to go back to their corners before they do so.

Round 3:
Back out they come with Iyo looking to get back at Bayley, ramming in several body shots before she is nudged back. Bayley lands a crisp jab/straight into the face of Iyo to push her back. Iyo getting caught more as Bayley has found her rhthym again.

Around the outside part of the ring moves Iyo landing mostly single punches as Bayley is keeping her predominantly under wraps. Iyo looking annoyed as she is drilling more punches into the chest of Bayley to try to push her back.

Late in the round again Iyo comes back at Bayley after dodging a straight. Landing a few hooks around the torso of Bayley to make her hiss. Bayley nudges back Iyo but both trade as they plant their feet. The bell rings with both just about holding back throwing more. Bayley nods to her coach when she returns to her corner as she is looking good so far but Iyo is bouncing on her toes in her corner showing she isn't giving up the ghost by any stretch.

Round 4:
Bayley again starts off the round strong with her jab marking up the face of Iyo. A small cut forms on the bridge of the nose of Sky to make her hiss out as she is being pushed back to the outside part of the ring. Iyo needing to move her upper body more to dodge and strike back.

Heading into the second minute, Iyo slips a straight and lands a left hook to the jaw of Bayley. Following up with body shots before she moves back out when the heat coming back her way gets too much. Iyo starting to find some momentum as she dips in and out of range, landing quick two and three punch flurries before moving out to space.

Bayley looks a little frustrated as she tries to pin down Iyo, getting caught over the top though with looping shots. Iyo dips down to pound the torso of Bayley as she starts to drive her back as she changes her style to be more aggressive. The round comes to a close with Iyo jogging back to her corner with a stern look on her face. Bayley looking a little more tense as she sits on her stool maybe worried that the momentum is changing.

Round 5:
They both exchange around the middle as Iyo looks to have her bounce to her step. Bayley looking to close down her opponent. Iyo catching Bayley more over the top with short hooks around her cheeks, dodging more punches around her head as she is free flowing.

An uppercut catches Bayley on her chin and Iyo uses the opening to rush into Bayley. Driving her future Wrestlemania opponent into the ropes. Whacking away around her body as she is trying to chop down the taller fighter. Bayley pushing back Iyo to create the space to land several short hooks to make the smaller woman back off.

Iyo has to get her guard up more tightly as Bayley is coming back at her. They trade more evenly around the middle of the ring. Bayley's body has a little pink hue around it and Iyo's cheeks are reddening up. The bell rings with Bayley walking back to her corner needing a pep talk from her coach. Iyo meanwhile sits on her stool and looks to keep her own energy after being told off by her coach for staying standing in the previous rounds.

Round 6:
Pushing off their stools to resume fighting around the middle. Iyo ramming her fists into the torso of Bayley. Who nudges back Iyo with her left forearm before landing an uppercut to knock back Iyo to her heels. Iyo is driven back to the ropes with Bayley swinging in hooks around her guard till she can hold onto the American.

They are split apart with Iyo quick off the mark to come back at Bayley with short hooks to her body. Looking to drive back Bayley now till Bayley grabs her into a clinch and they nearly trip into the ropes. They both dig in kidney shots with a free hand till the referee can break them up. Both told to keep it clean as they scowl at their opponent.

Under a minute to go; Bayley catches Iyo on her nose with a jab, Iyo's guard opened up as a Bayley starts to back her up to a neutral corner with a flurry of punches. The round ends with Bayley chesting up to Iyo as she is fired up. Iyo pushing her back as the referee has to get between them. This is deeply personal between them.

Round 7:
Ramming more punches around the nose of Iyo to make her cry out. Bayley starting to apply more pressure as quickly as she can. Iyo moves around near the ropes with straight shots coming back at Bayley from her bitter enemy. The former WWE women's Champion is holding down Iyo near the ropes with her piston like punches.

But Iyo showing her spirit to duck down and ramming in her shots towards the abs of Bayley. Who is gritting her gumshield when she gets hit clean. Bayley nudging back Iyo onto the ropes and slinging in hooks to try to take the fight out of her rival.

Under thirty five seconds to go; Iyo catches Bayley on her chin with a left cross. She moves off the ropes and pounds in a right hook that forces the air out the body of Bayley. Who finds herself being forced back as Iyo hammers away at the torso of the American. The bell rings with Bayley taking in a few deep breaths. Iyo meanwhile sits on her stool looking sore too. Both these former friends putting each other through it to try to win.

Round 8:
Both women resume looking tired but still trying to hammer their opponent back. Iyo deflects a jab at her nose and lands a left hook on the chin of Bayley. SHE STEPS IN AND LANDS A RIGHT SQUARE INTO THE LIVER OF BAYLEY TO MAKE HER GO DOWN ONTO ALL FOURS WITH A LOUD WHINE!

Iyo walks to the neutral corner with her gloves on her hips as blood drips off the end of her nose from the cut above it. 1....2....3... Bayley spits out her gumshield and tries to recover. 4....5... Pushing to a kneeling position with her right arm cradling her stomach. 6....7... Bayley is trying to push to her feet. 8....9.... But she gasps in pain and goes back to her knees quickly. 10 that's it for this fight as Bayley is counted out!

Winner Iyo Sky KO Round 8

After:
Iyo walks over to Bayley and rams her right foot into her chest to knock the beaten fighter to her back. Pressing her right foot on the chest of Bayley. Iyo yells in Japanese "you will never be at my level!" Bayley fighting back tears as she can only look up at the woman who has been tormenting her for months.

The winner poses for the camera with her hands on her hips. Iyo making sure that the crowd and the world knows who the best is. After she heads off to her corner to be given a high five from her coach. Iyo grinning as she sits on her stool. Making a big statement here tonight going into Wrestlemania.

All the while Bayley has to be helped up and an ice pack placed on her stomach before she sits down. Bayley sheds tears of frustration as much as from pain. Tonight was supposed to be the beginning of a new dawn for her, instead she has to sit and watch Iyo go to the middle of the ring.

The victor getting her right hand raised. Iyo asks for her women's world title, holding it up with her left hand as she stares directly at Bayley, maybe an omen for their Wrestlemania match as Bayley stands up gingerly to show she isn't going to back down from the challenge. The coach of Bayley needing to cool her off as she is certainly not in the right place physically to get into a fight now.

Instead Bayley leaves the ring with help. Her supporters yelling that they believe in her to make Bayley smile. At least she still has the fans behind her. Still this shows what a task she has ahead of her when they meet for the title belt in a month.

In the ring Iyo does a lap of honour inside the ring holding her title up for all to see. Making sure everyone knows who the champion is around here. In the FCBA she is still undefeated and maybe with a push the genius of the sky's might become a boxing legend too.
