Part 2 – Co-Main Event:

Before: At 44, Evangeline Lilly‘s in the twilight of her legendary career – the seven-time bantamweight champion, and Hall of Fame member last won the bantam straps in 2020, but her 2023 was less than stellar, including coming up short in the Cougar Tourney against Kate Beckinsale. Her match-ups against the woman who replaced her as the stable‘s signature bantam – Bonzo‘s Gym‘s Kira Kosarin – have always been a heated affair, and nobody expects that fact to change tonight. Lilly famously won her first fight after leaving the stable against starlet sensation Kira, back in 2018 in a very *salty* KO8, but Kira did eventually fulfil the potential of her advance praise, taking two straight KOs from Evangeline in 2019 and 2020, noticeably earning her first-time bantam title in the second fight. Now that Kira‘s one of the division‘s biggest, most established stars, Evangeline‘s looking for a potential last hooray against Kira:

“I hold no grudge whatsoever against Kira,“ Evangeline confirms.

“I‘m purely interested in the competitive nature of this fight. I knew Kira‘d become one hell of a fighter when she first appeared at our gym. But here‘s a but: I just don‘t think she‘s become as *complete* a fighter as I was in my prime, at least yet – she‘s such an easily distractable fighter! Know your limits, Kira – just think of your embarassing choke against Alexis Ren! There‘s still plenty of competitive, dangerous rivals for Kira at bantam – and I‘m one of them! Let‘s see whether my slickster veteran skills might still dish out a little suprise, or two, for sassy Miss Upstart!“

“I‘ve always said how much I respected Evangeline,“ Kira nods.

“I‘m not walking back from that – Vangie‘s a proper legend. But she‘s made a mistake taking me on one more time and she will find that out the hard way! I might have been a rollicking youngster when we met in the past, and I won‘t deny my game still had some weak points, but no more! I can break a girl‘s heart in the ring now – I take everything from my rivals! You wanted this, Vangie – so don‘t complain when I take you apart!“

Fight: R1: Lilly just as lithe, leggy as she‘s known for – she‘s shooting a quick, jab, scooting across the perimeters early, as Kira steps-to through the middle. Kira won‘t play around early – she‘s looking to deny Lilly a wide, comfortable range, trying to deny her girl to roam the ring. Kira‘s stance‘s strong, flat-footed – she‘s stepping full power into her jabs, stroking it across Lilly‘s hairline or tits, looking to dictate this battle from the midst of the ring. A veteran ‘Vangie‘s lookin‘ to weave her upper torso from these kind of shots, sidestep Kira‘s full throttle attacks – girls play a game of cat n‘ mouse for range, leverage, position! A minute in, Kira‘s long jabs up the skull keep Lilly on the spot just long enough for the follow-up body shot, and it‘s a sweet one – Kira‘s poppin‘ the hips, spankin‘ a curvy left hook in Lilly‘s gut/stomach! Lilly cranks up hurt from the shot, hides a slight grimace – her mitts go back up, as Kira‘s brushin‘ left, right salvos up her face/guard for show! Lilly‘s being leggy, if ineffective – Kira‘s sturdy position, her taller reach allow the young Bonzo starlet to dictate things!

Down the stretch … Kira slowly coaxes Lilly to step forward, take risks … Lilly forms crouch n‘ weave, attacks, but she‘s continually repulsed by Kira‘s strong, pumping jabs up top. Kira‘s back/shoulder so tense, muscular – she‘s LICKIN‘ sturdy lefts, rights across Lilly‘s flank/gut, as Lilly‘s toned thighs tremble through the shockwaves! Lilly‘s thighs a-hummin‘ from Kira‘s power, energy – that‘s the gist of the first!

“Kira‘s a lot more educated than she‘s been in the past, Vangie,“ Lookout‘s corner advises. “Gotta need your veteran‘s bag of tricks to shock this youngster – go surprise her!“

R2: Lilly steps-to, surprises her young foe with a valiant, hands-on attack on the inside – she‘s mitts-up, stubby-jabbing against Kira‘s firm guard. Kira startled, takes a while to adjust to Lilly‘s physicality … short jabs/sly left hooks keep Kira‘s guns holstered, as Lilly‘s tappin‘ away in furious lil‘ salvos of shots … Lilly sets her feet, scrubs short, stout right hands into Kira‘s flank/paunch, even steps into the odd shot up Kira‘s jaw, ear! Kira chests back upright, tries to side-step, drift Lilly‘s chin one of her right hand slops, but Lilly won‘t have it – veteran‘s very alert, slick, leggy tonight! Lilly‘s knock-jab‘s so very effective at curbing Kira‘s drive, energy … slowly Lilly‘s wresting initiative, keeping Kosarin on her heels, stroking tuff left hooks to the girl‘s tummy/jugs … Kira‘s busting up, sporting a lip cut!

Down the stretch … Lilly keepin‘ it busy, hummin‘ away her muscular strokes up Kira‘s curvy body … Kira‘s not ever hurt properly, but she‘s fighting on the back foot, slugged into her heels, can‘t set her hips for a proper power shot … young starlet can‘t find an answer to Lilly‘s high-energy shotmaking in the second!

“Keeping Kira on her heels will be key to winnin‘ this fight, Vangie,“ her corner lauds.

R3: Kira‘s weirdly reluctant, restrained early – an upbeat, athletic Lilly takes control from the bell!

Kira flat-footed, set up sturdy in the pocket, but she won‘t take the fight to Lilly, allows ‘Vangie to set her own preferred pace – Lilly‘s being leggy n‘ limber, loping circles around Kira‘s bigger frame, stitching her with the in-n‘-out attacks! Lilly be stickin‘ it to her foe … she‘s using a variety of angles, landing tuff hooks either side of Kosarin‘s robust torso … Kira clearly grumpy, staying safe n‘ brawny behind her guard, as Lilly‘s LOOTING her to the body! Lilly‘s attacks stabbin‘ at her girl – she be steppin‘-to, hurtin‘, then she will disengage, as Kira‘s thighs‘re are still hummin‘ from the potshot right hands to her guard/ear/skull! Lilly will use clever feints, too – coax Kira‘s elbow down a smidge, then jam a straight to the jaw instead! Strokes like this slowly accumulate, do some visible damage … Kira‘s duly trudging left n‘ right, not reading her foe‘s angles/shot curves well, staying lined up at times to soak up her foe‘s steady barrage of punches… Lilly‘s able to evade Kira‘s *angry* jabs/counter hooks with slick footwork, head bobs!

“You‘re in this girl‘s head now, ‘Vangie,“ Lookout‘s corner‘s upbeat about the way things have gone so far. “Now go mesmerize her with your POWERRRRR!“

R4: Lilly still so leggy, athletic early in the fourth – she‘s using a very aggressive, stubby jab from her crouch, knockin‘ away, steppin‘ into her foe with a sluggin‘ barrage – she‘s backing Kira up! Kira tall, upright – she‘s trying to set her feet, interrupt Lilly‘s rhythms with rigid jabs, uppercuts to her foe‘s sternum/shoulder, but Lilly‘s proving lithe, elusive tonight! Lilly‘s activity‘s really chuggin‘ away, stayin‘ incalculable for her young, strong opponent – Kira‘s constantly forced to re-position, as she‘s getting bumped n‘ slugged out of her stance! A minute in, ‘Vangie beats Kira‘s long jab … she loops a STOUT, hard right cross onto her foe‘s chin! The reaction‘s delayed, but oh, the freakin‘ toggle – Kira‘s hurt! Kira spills sideway in disarray – her butt‘s wobbly as she hits ropes! Lilly snarls … she steps-to, bumpin‘ her girl with plenty of shoulder n‘ elbow, cuffin‘ away to tummy/paunch … she‘s takin‘ Kira apart at the ropes!

Mid round … Kira‘s trying to sturdy up, use her reach/power to slow down Lilly‘s siege … she‘s starting to weave a little in the pocket, bumping back now against Lilly‘s lithe, light frame … girls constantly rub n‘ bump shoulder-to-chest, as short, rigid punches churn up each other‘s flanks n‘ lats!

Suddenly … KIRA GOES DOWN!

Girls neatly dippin‘ the torso, bobbin‘ the head, tradin‘ short, inside lefts, rights to find jaw/ear – Lilly sneaks hers to Kira‘s chin! Kira unhinged by the sudden, nasty chin check – she quickly sloshes down past Lilly‘s left side onto all fours! Bonzo starlet‘s all loose-limbed, rickety – she rolls onto her right hip! Lilly so cool, calm – she jogs to her corner, enjoys the younger woman‘s misery! Kira‘s fighter‘s heart finally kicks in – but she‘s in a KO struggle! The glaze‘s still there in her eyes when she‘s beaten the count at “7“ – she nods to the ref, as sturdy bantam feels herky-jerky!

Lilly a-moppin‘ up on her girl from there – short, stubby lefts take her close again, and then she‘s chuggin‘ away to Kira‘s ribs/flanks, switchin‘ things up with the odd chop up the chin/guard! Kira‘s thighs‘re still stiff, but they‘re starting to firm a little – the younger girl‘s stubbornly soaking up Lilly‘s shots, staying brawny behind her guard!

Corner talk – “Lilly‘s taking you to school so far, Kira – don‘t fall for her mind games, girl!“

R5: Lilly‘s still got plenty of energy – she‘s setting a hard, murderous pace early!

Lilly steps-to, bodies-up … she‘s dippin‘ in front of Kira, pumpin‘ stern, hard lefts, rights in under Kira‘s breasts! Kira‘s mouth opens into a pout, as her lips part in shock at the body hurt – Lilly‘s treating her rough! Kira hard-eyed, trying to right herself, put a left uppercut to Lilly‘s jaw/cheek, but she can‘t find it, as Lilly‘s head-bobbin‘ in her slick, expert ways! Lilly just so physical tonight … she puts her left shoulder in Kira‘s tits, bumps the girl off stance … then drifts a stout right on her foe‘s chin! Kira staggered, but she‘s starting to resist little by little – she‘s dippin‘-with, buries left hooks to the liver region behind Lilly‘s elbow! Mid of round, girls start to tie up for long, sweaty ref‘s breaks – wide shoulders, muscular arms keep writhin‘, strugglin‘ for control of the clinches!

Down the stretch … Lilly walks Kira into the ropes!

Her veteran power‘s starting to separate late, as girls fight n‘ grind furiously on the inside – foreheads bump, as fists clip ‘em tight n‘ tidy to body, chin! Kira‘s just not her usual, confident self – she‘s lettin‘ Lilly control her, gettin‘ pushed into the ropes, slugged hard across the waist n‘ flanks! Kira‘s stance‘s still tall, upright, but her eyes betray a sleepy, tired glaze … Lilly‘s hup-hup activity‘s starting to wick away the young woman‘s strength, energy! Lilly‘s a steely-eyed, determined beauty on her way to the corner, tonight‘s performance simply CLINICAL so far – that‘s four straight heats against her hotly favoured young foe!

Lots of hussle in the Bonzo corner during the break, as their girl‘s startin‘ to look ass-kicked – “No two ways about it, Kira – this chick‘s dominating you in the ring, and you‘re letting her!“

R6: Kira sour-faced early – she can‘t seem to get traction against her veteran foe tonight! Lilly nickin‘ away from the outside early, pot-shottin‘ her body attacks – long, lean jabs up Kira‘s head/ears set up wide, withering flank/tummy crosses/hooks. Kira grimaces awkwardly, pedals to the side, as Lilly‘s stearling her initiative *again* … Lilly‘s always neatly trying to cut her off, turn her flank, rip away flat, hard hooks to the waist to punish her girl …

Slowly, Lilly‘s gettin‘ her ways – she‘s pressin‘ her foe, punchin‘ Kira onto her heels, again, again. Lilly spreads out, taps a hard sucker of a left up Kira‘s right tit/shoulder – bam! Kira‘s back hits the cables … she‘s takin‘ to lil‘ bobs/feints on the spot … Lilly‘s stance‘s built small, tight … she dips left, right in front of Kira … Kira dips-with, soon curves a hook to Lilly‘s sternum! There‘s a lil‘ cramp in Lilly‘s leggy, mobile torso – finally, she‘s hurt! Kira leans in, her eyes wide, pops a mighty right hand all over ‘Vangie‘s jaw – oh, Lilly‘s wobbly-butt! See the jiggle in Lilly‘s strong legs … she‘s suddenly tense, her thighs n‘ buttocks a-wobble!

Kira‘s now tall, upright – her confidence‘s back with a pop!

Lilly on the back foot – she‘s stepping out! Leggy strides, Kira – she‘s lopin‘, circlin‘, as Lilly‘s retreatin‘ now. There‘s the hard-ass power we‘ve missed from Kira all night long – the jumped-in body hooks to Lilly‘s flanks, the sturdy jabs up her older foe‘s chest, the lead rights driven to chin, guard, ear! Lilly rigid behind her guard, as Kira‘s choppin‘ away energetically – she‘s clinchin‘ late to prevent Kosarin from runnin‘ too hot/wild!

Corner: “One job, ‘Vangie – break Kira‘s momentum NOW!“

R7: Kira fast, aggressive early – young bantam‘s suddenly at ease after spending many rounds chasin‘ in vain after leggy veteran Lilly! Lilly‘s flat-footed, slowed down just a bit – girls meet for the toe-to-toe! Kira sets up sturdy, but she‘s mobile – she twists from side to side, pumpin‘ the left/right/left in under Lilly‘s breasts! Lilly grimaces, can‘t bob or dip these shots as well as she could early on in the battle – slowly, Kira‘s young, energetic power‘s wickin‘ away ‘Vangie‘s stamina reserves! Lilly rolls-with … she sneaks a left uppercut to Kira‘s chin … Kira staggers, stands her ground, dips-right to hoist a right hook behind Lilly‘s elbow … Kira extends, *pushes* the left arm to Lilly‘s shoulder to earn a punch‘s space … Lilly tries to counter her with a cross … Kira dips it, then straightens out of the crouch again … a brawny right to Lilly‘s jaw unhinges the veteran‘s knees! ‘Vangie‘s trying to keep her balance, as thighs go gently a-buzzin‘ – Kira chests up, gets her arms under Lilly‘s, stampedes her girl to the ropes!

A minute and a half in … Kira‘s being very rigid, very brawny about Lilly‘s lithe ribcage … she‘s grinding her forehead up Vangie‘s, writhin‘, wigglin‘ for control of Lilly‘s arms … Kira‘s short uppercuts, hooks break down Lilly to the body inside, as Kira establishes her shove-n‘-slug power! There‘s your first signs of sleepy exhaustion, Evangeline L – she‘s bobbing sadly against Kira‘s short, curt slugs, her eyes half shut, lips parted, as the younger girl‘s out-grinding her! Kira so strong n‘ compact in there, now that Lilly‘s vulnerable – she‘ll twist her torso-right, lick a shot deep behind Lilly‘s shuddering elbow, snatch up her mitt instantly to bob Lilly‘s receipts. Kira‘s right‘s firmly up her cheek, as left hand‘s out to rummage Lilly‘s flat, toned, now pink-ish tummy … tight left hook‘s rifted to Lilly‘s flank/lat … LILLY STUMBLES ONTO HER KNEES!

Oh, the veteran pride, as Lilly‘s in a grimace, fighting back tears, as toned torso‘s in trembles – she‘s hurt!

Kira giddy, jolly, shouting at the ref to let Lilly go on – “Let me have her, ref – I want more of her!“

Lilly‘s up after a tired “7“ count – she forms a raggedy comeback stance, her mitts shaky, as legs seem stiff, wounded! Kira grinds back up immediately, pushin‘ into Lilly‘s frame, as ‘Vangie‘s trying to tie up weakly … short, BATTERING rights up Lilly‘s ear/skull, reefing left hooks across Lilly‘s flank/gut … it‘s a beatdown! Kira calm, meticulous in her thudding punishment of the older woman‘s pride – she taps jug, again, *again*, as Lilly can‘t answer! Right hand, Kira – sudden jolt of Kira‘s right hand power sprawls a glassy-eyed Lilly into the ropes! And the ref jumps in between, cradles Lilly to safety on the side, as Kira‘s still loading ‘em up – that‘s a hard-earned TKO7 Kira Kosarin!

After: After the fight, Kira‘s irked about the ref‘s stoppage – “He was trying to save her from the KO, but I deserved to stop Lilly tonight! Let me finish the job, man!“ You gotta wonder whether Kira would have survived Lilly‘s sleek, elegant athleticism when Evangeline was in her prime, but at 44, she eventually couldn‘t keep up with Kira‘s pace/energy, allowing her starlet foe to stage a dramatic comeback. “Gotta give it to Kira,“ Lilly admits. “She‘s got a big, loud mouth, but she‘s got the heart and punch to back it up!“
