CANADIAN INVASION AT THE ASYLUM: THIS TIME IT'S PERSONAL

BEFORE:

"Yeah, she caught me a lucky one the last time," says Natasha with a shake of the head. "But. THIS is JMDD. And, she's outgunned in THAT category."

"Look, she can hit," says Marie with a nod. "But. So can I. Let's see how that goes for her."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Boom Boom Pow' by the Black Eyed Peas you hear, and here comes former welterweight champion Natasha Henstridge!"

McCarthy: "Nothin' but a NUMBER! I can't WAIT until she knocks this big stiff into next MONTH..."

O'Dell: "Nat looking plenty confident on her way to the ring. She climbs inside and is helped off with the robe and the crowd showing appreciation for the big blonde in that baby blue number she likes. And, that's 'Fresh Blood' by Eels booming through the Asylum, and that can only mean that 'The Sexy Sequoia', Marie Temara, is on her way to the ring..."

Cassie: "Marie working her way up the welter rankings, but she's also working on the beach and at JMDD..."

Tess: "And having success doing all three..."

O'Dell: "Temara into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve to reveal that lavender number she likes, and, clearly from its reaction, the crowd does, too..."

McCarthy: "Philly. Low standards..."

O'Dell: "Ladies about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Marie. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Henstridge!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "And, we're underway. Ladies setting up at gunnery range and letting the hands go early! Not a lot of artifice here, as both blonde and brunette get after one another at range, extending on punches, landing hard shot..."

Cassie: "And working a lot of body."

O'Dell: "No doubt about it. They're hooking off those jabs, banging punches to ribs, belly, and rack here. Nobody taking a step back, and I wouldn't expect anyone to. These are two of the hardest hitters in the FCBA and they want to do some HITTING..."

McCarthy: "NEITHER of these two would last a round with Lawley, Palicki, or Big Bad Gena Lee!"

O'Dell: "We're down under thirty seconds in what's been an action-packed first. GOOD right from Temara and Henstridge fires right back with a right of her own and there's the bell! PLENTY of hard leather traded, but not a lot in it. Nat gets the points, though."

Tess: "And grabs the early 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins with more ranged warfare. Both fighters getting off lusty, banging away to head, body, and rack. TONS of hard leather being exchanged here. Seems like it's only a matter of time with the way this is going..."

Tess: "Can't stay like this for long..."

O'Dell: "RIGHT HAND, TEMARA AND DOWN GOES HENSTRIDGE after a follow on left hook to the jug! Oh, what a right by the brunette! Natasha crashes to the canvas on her back and bounces once before coming to rest!"

Cassie (singing): "Turn out the liiiggghhhhttttsssss. The party's ohhhhverrrrr..."

O'Dell: "Temara to a neutral corner. Henstridge unmoving on the canvas. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. This is going to be academic. Six. Seven. Eight. Still no movement. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! And your winner by KO 2 is 'The Sexy Sequoia', Marie Temara!"

McCarthy: "Lucky punch!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Marie Temara, and, Marie, you didn't waste any time..."

Marie: "Against a girl like that, who can hit like that, you have to take every opportunity to get her out of there. I got one, and I took advantage."

Tess: "So, is there more JMDD in your future?"

Marie (smiling): "JMDD, beach, Ice Hotel, welter. Wherever. Whenever. I'm ready."
