Maisie Williams vs Roxanne Pallett
(BBU Independent vs Kear's Kats)

BEFORE: Both these women have struggled for results lately so this fight serves a common profit and while Maisie Williams can't find any success ever since Girls Friday dropped her into free agency she still hopes to take full advantage of the savage beating Roxanne Pallett took from fellow veteran Nikki Sanderson earlier this month:
"Let's face it, Roxy is basically a punchbag now. She was never the most prolific performer anyway but now even these has-beens like Sanderson beat her up with ease! Good news for me! I will rearrange her stupid face tonight!"
Roxanne remains bemused by those comments and points out that nobody is willing to sign a "wimp like Maisie" into their roster while she retains her Kats roster spot for well over ten years and counting: "Maisie's high-water mark was playing sidekick to Emilia Clarke. Geez, how pathetic that is?" (laughs).
Maisie Williams wears a black crop top, jeans pants & red gloves. Medium lenght brown hair tied in a braid. Roxanne Pallett wears a purple bikini set & black gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a half-up ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.
Round 1:
Maisie jumps into a quick jabbing start but the fellow brunette covers her off before both women trigger a hectic head-hunting dispute in the center of the ring where Roxanne nails her opponent on the lips with the hardest punch of the exchange and assumes the superior position going forward. She sticks more leather through Maisie's leaky guard and forces her to pivot around the ring amid some wild cheers from the Cardiff audience. Williams tries to narrow her tactical losses but Pallett still comes forward to knock her between the mitts until she drops the younger brunette onto the ropes where she adds a couple of belting shots in the navel to take the round on points.
Round 2:
Roxanne begins to rattle more hits to expose Maisie's shaky high-guard again but this time she gets caught with a quick uppercut on the jaw which allows the Bristol actress to finally find her response - and she whacks Roxy on the nose with authority to cause the veteran to lose her balance before the Cardiff audience gets treated with another head-hunting dispute. Maisie soaks a couple of wild shots but stays in the slugging lane and keeps aiming at Pallett's nose... she beats the older brunette with more successful overhands and stuffs her on the heels before one hard swing tags Roxy on the jaw and makes her squeal in visible discomfort shortly before the bell.
Round 3:
Roxy settles in with another head-hunting assault which is maybe predictable but the Kats entourage really doesn't value Maisie's free agent status that much... which proves to be a big mistake according to Denise van Outen in the booth. The younger actress doesn't value Roxy too high either and both women follow the head-hunting script like they know their resistance won't be able to handle it for very long. Roxanne cuts Maisie across the nasal ridge half-way through the round but the Bristol woman doesn't flinch out of her stance and keeps swinging bombs until a late clash of heads forces a neccesary pause. Pallett barks in anger when Maisie tackles her cleavage late in the going and almost trips her down on the canvas which ends with a big punch on the boobs right at the bell. "Take that, ye stupid cow!", Maisie gets vocal upon seeing Roxy taking a quick stumble to the side and she's got every right to play the mind games now.
Round 4:
Roxanne jumps into immediate revenge plans and tags the younger brunette on each temple but she misses on the chin shot put away and gets thumped with a similar punch instead. Maisie feels she can make major damage simply bashing the Emmerdale veteran straight up and it doesn't take much to expose Pallett's shaky high-guard. A couple of wild hits stuff the Cumbrian brunette on her heels and when she tries to swing from there, she can't beat Williams for pace and takes a hard right hook on the chin that DROPS HER FLAT ION HER BACK amid a wild cheer from the audience. Ugh! Maisie can still find a mean punch and allthough Roxy claims she slipped, her rise back to her feet at eight doesn't really strike much confidence. Maisie wants blood now and she literally gets it when another head-hunting dispute spills the red paint from Pallett's nose and sends her butt-in-ropes where Williams simply runs out of time to finish the seemingly wounded opponent off. Woof. Ref pulls her away at the bell and Roxanne only stares down the canvas and avoids eye contact with the fellow actress.
Round 5:
Maisie makes sure she doesn't let Roxy off the hook and barges into her chest before a swift uppercut change sinks the veteran on soft knees. A wild swing on the temple sends Pallett into immediate tailspin and she drops her gloves just so the Bristol native can SMOKE her with a piledriver shot on the nose that spills more blood but also sends the Emmerdale actress CRASHING DOWN ON HER BACK again. And this time there's no coming back for the wiley veteran who descends into knockout daze with a mild whimper. KO5 Maisie Williams!!!
AFTER: One swallow doesn't make a summer but Maisie's losing streak is finally over and it's anyone's guess if she can rebuild her boxing career back in the old country. She turns 27 yo later this month and has plenty of experience to warrant a comeback story even in a crowded division. Meanwhile it's back to drawing board for Pallett who simply gets battered around too much and can't count on getting more durable at the wrong side of forty. Apparently Maisie's old HBO sparring mate Emilia Clarke wants to take a crack at the notorious Emmerdale operator next and Kats' coach Gail Kim is quick to accept the offer.
